When we first met, I was struggling with a small business network, trying to keep up with aging hardware, obsolete operating systems, and temperamental printers. I have some limited knowledge through experience, enough to keep things on life support, but Chris is a pro. He knows exactly what to do, where to find solutions to specific problems, and how to apply them quickly and painlessly. This is work I can't do on my own, so I completely appreciate the skill and expertise he brings. Keep in mind that most of our small business computer problems are urgent, and Chris has always been available right then and there. This has been invaluable to us and we are extremely grateful. Over the last couple of years we have added a bunch of new computers with upgraded operating systems, and Chris has been there, right along with us, to help us install the programs we rely on to keep our business running. He knows how to find and install the right drivers, and to test everything so we know it's working when our staff arrives in the morning. He was instrumental in the success we had installing a new file server. We couldn't have done it without him. Things are running great now! While Advanced Computer Repair was closed for vacation in July 2017, I went to Best Buy's Geeks asking if they could repair my Dell laptop. They could not. According to these tech specialist, the laptop needed to be shipped to their "clean room" for repair, which likely would cost approx. $300 and I also needed to become a member at $199 to the Geek Squad. I declined. Then I went to Office Depot. Same story. I called Dell and after an hour on the phone, the result was nothing. When Advanced Computer Repair returned from vacation, I visited Chris and showed him my problem. I needed a new LCD screen, which he could repair. The cost was approx. $160. Needless to say, I decided on Advanced Computer Repair. He ordered the part and fixed my laptop, which now again operates perfectly. I recommend Chris and Advanced Computer Repair highly. At least someone in Somers and surrounding area that knows what he is doing. If anyone has a tech problem with a laptop or desk top, or if you seek to buy one or even let Chris built one, go to Advanced Computer Repair. Easy 5 stars for professionalism and ability. Decided to make the trek from Mt. Kisco, where I live, to Somers based on all the other 5 star reviews and was not disappointed. Called the day prior to establish what he would require, got straight forward directions and a welcoming invitation to swing on by. Stopped by day of, and was talked through much of what was likely the issue and some other interesting points. I confidently left my PC tower with Chris, the gentleman who also instructed me the day prior, and received a phone call within a couple hours telling me it was all set and offering me an upgrade at an incredibly respectable price. I very much appreciate good customer service, but ultimately, a job well done is what`s most important, and thankfully, I did not have to compromise at all here. After waiting 45 minutes at the genius bar at the Apple Store in Danbury I was told my Mac Book Pro needed to be erased in order to get it working again. Needless to say this was an unacceptable answer as I absolutely could not afford to lose years of documents and photos, etc.. Apple directed me to a computer repair service in Norwalk Conn, way far from my home in Northern Westchester. I did a bit of research and found Advanced Computer Repair in Somers. I'm so glad I did. I smashed my whole screen and everything around it on my Macbook Pro a couple weeks ago. I brought it to the Apple Store, who told me it was a relic (four year old $2000 laptop) and it would be $600 to fix. I brought it by Advanced Computer Repair in Somers, just on a whim, to see what they would charge. They did it for $350 and gave it back to me perfect and with a new 1 year warranty on all the parts they replaced. I definitely recommend these guys! A+++ read more

Chris is awesome I had our main work station for work go down after a storm he took it in on a Friday and had it back in my hands early the next week.
