I must admit some minor anxiety anticipating the procedures, but he talks you through it advising of every sound you will hear and anything you may feel. ( I mean, you really wouldn't want a doctor that stays silent then just says "oops" would you? ) This reassures you everything is under control and you can relax. I felt absolutely nothing. Interesting that I didn't 'hear' the crunching noise as I did the last extraction 20 years ago. Follow up visits to implant the tooth posts were mercifully quick and again totally painless. So yeah, I like the staff and can strongly recommend it as a very good place to go if you need someone to rip your teeth out.

First, I was greeted upon my arrival with a very pleasant receptionist, Stacey, who was attentive to it being my first time there and was able to get me checked in the moment I arrived. My dental hygienist was Paige, and she was very informative on what she was doing from start to finish. She was very thorough taking x-rays and she did a fabulous job cleaning my teeth and was so gentle that I didn't have a single moment of tooth or gum irritation during the cleaning process. Dr. Lisa is phenomenal. She cares, she's attentive, she LISTENS. She does everything she can to…read moremake her patients feel comfortable and satisfied. I had full dentures done here. Unfortunately I had too much bone loss to keep the bottom denture in place. So they suggested getting a couple of implants, and then modifying the bottom denture so it snapped on to those implants. They recommended an oral surgeon, who did a fabulous job. When my mouth had heaedled from the implant surgery, I came back and dr. Lisa helped make the modifications to my bottom denture which works like a charm. When I had some sore spots from the bottom denture she was very quick to respond and make adjustments to the bottom denture to relieve the pain at night charge. Everyone here: the front desk ckerk, office manager, dental assistants and Hygenist, and the doctor, is just wonderful. The whole process of implants and modification took about a year. When I was finally able to eat "real food" again they celebrated with me like family.

The first one failed and now the second one has also failed and is wreaking havoc on my system, horrible night sweats, high blood pressure and joint pains on the same side of my body as that tooth. Getting the root canal was relatively painless and Dr. Yiannis is actually one of the best dentists I have been to ( stay away from North Shore Health dental ). After finishing my root canal I was told " You know that tooth will continue to decay"! "Root Cause" was on Netflix but was pulled off ( ADA? ), and whatever happened to the vaccine for dental caries?
