I could not have been in better hands. Dr. Yien's staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment I arrived for my appointments. His office is clean, warm, and comfortable. Dr. Yien explained my dental problems and quickly put me at ease. He thoroughly described each issue and described the procedures he would utilize to repair the defects. Dr. Yien ensured that I was comfortable and that I experienced no discomfort. And his work was exemplary. It is a wonderful thing to enter a doctor's office with apprehension, and to leave a short time later feeling such great relief! Dr. Yien not only does his job very well, he does it while expressing empathy and compassion. I am grateful, and I heartily recommend Dr. Yien's practice to anyone who seeks the highest level of medical competency. Thank You!

I even went to a dentist who offered botox as a sideline...really! I found Dr. Yein's office over six years ago by chance. I knew right away that I made the right choice. Dr. Yein is not only extremely knowledge, but is honest and will actually give you options with your dental care. He cares about his patients! I am grateful that if I have a dental emergeny....he will take care of it right away. I know...that's unheard of these days. Lea, the office manager is so friendly, caring and always takes the time to work the "kinks" out of making the billing a breeze. Thea, along with his other staff members are so nice, professional, and take the time to accomodat the "regulars" and new patients. I have to say that I could not be happier with the service that I receive at this office. They are truly the best!!!

The dentist I have now (Five Gables on Mission) is incredibly gentle and numbs my mouth with gel before inserting the needle that numbers the gums, making the experience completely painless. In contrast, the work done by Shyba felt so harsh and rough, and when he pulled my tooth, it felt like a pair of construction pliers trying to rip a tooth out. It took about 45mins to pull one tooth. I also developed a pretty nasty infection. My new dentist tells me it is a protocol to prescribe antibiotics even before a tooth removal to ensure one does not have a chance to fester. I was never prescribed antibiotics by Dr.Shyba. I noticed an extreme amount of pain and a foul smell, sent photos, and went into the office to have Shyba look at it. I also have a very high pain tolerance, so when I think something hurts, it's incredibly alarming. He brushed me off and said it was normal. It wasn't until the infection smelled like a rotting carcass that I was finally taken seriously in a checkup on my tooth removal. He didn't apologize for how long it took to take me seriously. One positive note- The front office staff were always very kind.

Upon first entering the door we were greeted by professional, welcoming staff that made sure all of our paperwork was in order. The patient I was bringing in needed extensive dental work and Dr. Perkins generously offered to take her on as a patient. After a particularly difficult appointment, Dr. Perkins followed up with a personal phone call to reassure me that he was aware that the appointment was unusually difficult and addressed some unspoken questions I had. Talk about intuitive! Each of his staff members were courteous and encouraging. The greatest moment was today, when this young girl told me her mouth was still sore, from the latest extraction, but it was healing and she could never remember a time in her life when her teeth had been pain free. Dr. Perkins and his staff literally made a life changing difference. I would comfortably recommend this dental office to anyone. Got my wisdom teeth removed here 3 weeks ago and it was a very positive experience. I had never…read morebeen put under before, so I was extremely nervous, but the women who were there while I was being set up were so compassionate and kind to me. I was shaking and crying on the day of, but they did an amazing job helping me calm down, and one of them in particular talked me through all the way until I was out. I have other health issues, and the surgeon was receptive and thorough in acknowledging them and made me feel comfortable and confident that there would be no complications. I was put under with no issues, and I only had swelling and bruising on one side from one of the teeth, the rest healed well with hardly any swelling and no further bruising at all. When the numbing first wore off, I started feeling a lot of pain and they filled pain meds for me with no question, but the pain died down shortly after and I didn't end up needing more than tylenol and advil. I was able to follow the instructions they gave and had zero complications. My top sockets have already filled in and the bottom ones are on their way as well. I was able to keep my wisdom teeth through adulthood because I didn't have any complications until I started having health issues, and even then, I still kept them in 1 or 2 years longer than I probably should have. I was completely avoiding it due to the nerves so I really appreciate this team for taking such good care of me! Thank you!
