After my lip filler procedure, I was unhappy with the outcome and ultimately required dissolving treatment. I contacted LaserAway multiple times in an attempt to reach a fair resolution. I worked directly with a director named Bryan Dickerson who offered half of the value of the syringe as store credit. However, despite my follow-up emails accepting the offer and requesting confirmation of the terms, I never received the promised follow-up or final resolution. I also disputed the charge with my bank, but the dispute was denied, leaving me to absorb the full cost of an experience that I believe was not handled appropriately. The photos I am sharing are of my own results following treatment. They reflect my personal experience at this location. If you are considering lip fillers here, I encourage you to carefully review my photos and make your own informed decision before choosing Gen as your injector. I gave LaserAway every opportunity to resolve this matter privately. Since they failed to do so, I am now sharing my experience publicly so others can make an informed decision. I even went to your Stamford, Connecticut location, where the injector asked me, "Who did your lips?" When I told her they were done at your Englewood, New Jersey location, her reaction was, "Whoa." I just replied, "Yeah... I know." It was honestly embarrassing knowing the work had been done by another LaserAway location. What makes this even more frustrating is that after my first procedure, I was told to get more filler because it would correct the lumping. When that didn't work, I was later told that my lips simply "didn't accept the filler." I stand by my experience, and when I decide to have my lips done again by another provider, I will gladly post those results so people can see the difference for themselves. I had my first appointment with Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael, and was totally amazed!!! (I'm not a person that's into that social media review stuff). However, I found it imperative to write a review, after my first visit with this wonderful doctor!! I wrote my first review on ZocDoc. I couldn't give Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael anything lower than a 5 star review. I've had my share of mediocre Dermatology visits/services in the past 15 years, that really didn't rock my boat! I had a severe chronic ongoing skin issue, that was very difficult to deal with. My stress, and anxiety level was on overdrive, I wasn't sleeping well, basic tasks were very difficult to do, and the medications, creams, pills, and injections that were given/prescribed to me,(only helped on a temporary basis). Long story short: I wasn't a happy camper...***Now to the bright side!! Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael's first visit was extensive. She asked me if I had anything planned for the day, and I told her no. She told me great...because you're going to be here for a good while. That was fine with me, I was open/desparate to anything at this point. I wanted to be freed from this chronic severe skin issue... which had me climbing the walls!!! She asked extensive medical questions in regards to my symptoms, medical history, family history, medications, treatments etc...There was blood testing done, pictures were taken of my skin, laser treatment performed, and I was also given a oxygen/hydrating gel mask treatment (which made my skin feel so much better). My insurance covered one treatment, and I paid for (4) additional treatments. That was fine with me. It soothed, and cooled off my skin, considering my skin was always FIRE!! She prescribed some medication, and gave me some samples to try until the following week. I had my appointment with Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael for the following week, to review my results. My skin was feeling a bit better. She read to me, the results of my lab tests. My lab results showed that I had a certain/serious autoimmune condition. Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael was very concerned, and started me on medication immediately!! I take this medication every day. Dr. Dele-Michael eventually prescribed a second medication as well. I got the next available appt. with a Rheumatologist 3 months after seeing Dr. Dele-Michael. (I was told by the Rheumotologist that these medications/dosages is what I needed). It's been 5 months, and I can honestly say, Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael has changed my life around!!!! It feels great to live a normal life again!!!! And I owe it all to her!!*** Now, I must mention all her staff (angels): Clinton, Olga, Ashley, and Tina. I can only brag about them!!! They're nothing but professional, patient, welcoming, compassionate, and always on point!! Their work ethics is beyond exceptional!! They're a great team!! I don't have any issues, or complaints in regards to the practice of Radiant Skin Dermatology. The doctor was very professional, explaining the lasers, what each one does, and the cost of my procedure. During the procedure, I mentioned where I lived, and we decided to do my entire face. She added a five-minute extra treatment under my eyes, then charged me for the whole face. I was surprised by the much higher price for the additional service area, but I didn't know better at the time. Also, she tried to sell me a product that I could find on Amazon. After talking with friends and finding a highly respected dermatologist in Connecticut, I realized I had been taken advantage of, probably because of where I lived. I wouldn't rate her highly because, aside from the unexpectedly high extra charge for a five-minute treatment--which included removing protective glasses--the service was fine. I don't approve of the business ethics, so I wouldn't return or recommend it based on my moral values. (I had to add a star to post the review. I gave it three because the service was fine)
