Eddy is THE BEST!!! Installed a 14-50 outlet for our Tesla M3 with a quick turn and great service! This was over a year ago. Yesterday, the breaker for it tripped, and me flipping it off and back on to reset it didn't work. Eddy to rescue! Reached out last night and came bright and early to check it out. He took time to check the breaker and everything and anything around it. To my surprise, I didn't move the breaker switch thorough enough to the off position to reset. I contacted AES for some electrical services. I needed some garage lights fixed that used a ballast. They told me that they have a hard wire option so I wouldn't need to worry about a ballast going bad anymore. They quoted me $400 for 4 lights to be hard wired that were already mounted in place and for 8 bulbs to be switched. This seemed pricey for the hour worth of time it took but he was able to do it same day so I said ok. When done, I asked if he could look at an outlet that was loose. He was able to fix that in 10 minutes for another $50. It required using two longer screws. I thought this was crazy but it was no longer a worry so I said fine. He also looked at a recessed light that had a wire come out and he took care of that for free. It took less than a minute. Pros: The work is good. He was on time and was a very nice person. He answered all the questions I had. Cons: The price is really high and he left me with all the trash. He didn't pick up after himself at all and left trash in multiple spots which I didn't appreciate. read more

This morning we had an outdoor electrical plug go out. We needed it but couldn't find the problem. All the circuit breakers were fine and we didn't see any connected plugs with GFIs. I called Eddy. He and Mark were at our house in less than 15 minutes. They found the plugs in the garage with the GFI (it was somewhat hidden). So problem solved. Then they fixed two sets of electrical plugs in our family room and replaced an old light fixture in a bathroom with a modern LED fixture. While here they gave us quotes for lights in my office, a 220V line from the garage to the kitchen for an induction stove, and additional light in the family room. I haven't written a yelp review in years, but I felt I had to write one for this business. My microwave went dead, then my wife realized that the air friar went dead, and our refrigerator was dead. I knew it was the outlet so I went to my circuit breaker and none of the circuits had been tripped so then I knew I needed to call an electrician. It was Saturday night at 6:30 so I knew that it would be hard to find someone. I called two other places that said they were 24 hour emergency electrical services and left messages. Then I called Advanced Electrical Services and the owner answered the phone. He said that he was in San Francisco so he couldn't come but that sometimes the circuit breaker is tripped but the switch on he panel doesn't actually to to off. So if you turn it off and turn it back on the electricity will come back on. I tried that and it worked. I appreciate this as he was on vacation so didn't have to answer the phone at all but he was the first one to do it. He also gave me the solution to my problem without having me to actually use an electrician. Thanks for your help. read more

Eddy appears very kind. He seems nice and he comes across knowing what he is talking about. After asking for him to install a new upgraded panel. He purchased the wrong one, failed inspection. He then purchased another one and installed it upside down, failed inspection. He then became rude and told me it was my fault and it was impossible to get a panel that fit my house. He wanted to reinstall the old panel and quit. He told my renters that the old panel was a fire hazard and they could not keep it, but now he wanted to place it back in the home. He became belligerent and was sexist. He would only speak to men and would not speak to the woman of my rental home and asked to speak to my husband. I was the one that hired him. I let him go due to many complications and asked for a refund. He became very belligerent. I was left with having to hire a different electrician to fix his shorty incompetent work. No other electrician had a problem with this panel. He does not know what he's doing on big jobs. read more

Eddy is the guy to call when you have any electrical problems. I had a issue with my furnace for the AC not getting enough power volts I was getting like 140 when I needed 240. Eddy quickly stopped by and found the issue which was a burnt out electrical control panel. He replaced the J panel and and re-wired the mess. Apparently the previous owner rigged the unit which caused the whole issue. Eddy provided excellent customer service and got the job done at a very reasonable price.
