Excellent Plastic Surgeon!…read more I had my breast explant surgery with Dr. Brandon Ball about 2 years ago and I just recently had my fat transplant surgery by him as well. First let me just say that he is a very talented and skilled plastic surgeon and clearly knows what he is doing. He is down to earth, has a great sense of humour and is very modest. I had consulted with a few other plastic surgeons in the Edmonton area prior to meeting with Dr. Ball. It was extremely important to me to find a surgeon I could trust, but unfortunately my experience with these other physicians were not great. One even made me feel ashamed for even wanting to remove my implants. So when I met with Dr. Ball it was like a breath of fresh air! Almost instantly I knew I could trust him. During our consultations he always took the time to listen to me and answer all of my questions. He made me feel heard. All my life I have struggled with insecurities about my breasts, but now I feel so confident! For the first time, I feel like I have naturally beautiful breasts and I never thought I would ever feel that way! Dr. Brandon Ball is a fantastic surgeon that clearly cares about his patients! I highly recommend him!

Because Dr Groot does an excellent job. He is friendly, personable and has a great "bed side" manner. He stands by his work, and if there are any problems, he will fix it. A lot of public sector doctors could learn from Dr Groots professionalism and respect he has for the patient. If you are in need of cosmetic surgery I cannot recommend Dr Groot highly enough.

I was having treatments for a back issue ( Disc pain ) and the girl doing those treatments kept…read moretelling me about 2 spots on my back that concerned her. Eventually I got a referral to Rao Clinic ( took a few months ) He phones me and asks for pictures of my spots! I was confused that a specialist only wanted a photo of them but I took them and sent them to him and waited! He emails me back saying those spots are nothing to worry about! Seborrheic keratosis he said! perfectly normal.....So I let it go at that! I see the girl again for more treatments and she asks if i got these spots looked at and I told her. She said NO! that is not S.K I see that daily she says. She pressures me to get another opinion! So I contact Rao himself and say I think he is wrong and there is more to it. He said NO its SK. I asked why it gets sore and big then goes away to nothing I get no reply. So I drove to his clinic to see him, over 1000kms return for me.. He does not come out to see me but sends the intern. The intern bopsy both spots and both are cancer.... So now Rao is wrong and I have to have surgery. I go there for that procedure. I see no doctor but the intern again! Here is where it gets WORSE!! He cuts me open. The girl helping him is short. She has her gloves on and moves a foot stool close to bed so she can reach with her gloves on! Then blood flying! He cuts out the spots and starts sewing me up. The stitches are on the tray with all the bloody cotton swabs. He sews them into me and his scissors did not work! So the girl gets off her stool and walks out into the clinic are gets scissors from somewhere and she walked through the hallway. Then as the intern is sewing up the two of them are making jokes about how Rao gets mad if they take 10 stitches out of the box and only use 8. I look at the tray and there are leftover there. What did they do with them? garbage or for next person with my bloody rags after passing over and or on them? Were they from someone else's tray before me? I never once saw Rao in person. He just wants to click emails and do 10 second phone calls to bill us fortunes for his expertise? LAUGHABLE! I would not send a dying dog there. If I could give a -10 I would. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! avoid this clinic at all costs. OH!!!! I had to have one spot done a second time because they never got all the cancer. I seen a surgeon at the local hospital months later and he seen my back and asked what happened to me! I said surgery for cancer spots. He says " My god they butchered you! He was not pleased and asked who did it I told him and he went to his computer instantly and wrote down something. This surgeons scar is barely noticeable!!! the skin interns scars? they look like I was stabbed by a machette. Big, ugly, red, and no where close to clean lines. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Plus I asked for a letter to take some time from work as I work in a very dirty contaminated environment with open surgery wounds and the guy ignored me and I had to fight to even get a letter which i never got from them but from another Doctor...
