When I got home, I noticed that about a quarter of the mole was still there as there was an obvious raised area left. I was moving to BC for a job on Monday so I could not go back in on Monday. When I called, the clinician told me to wait until the scab fell off and accusingly told me I would have complained if there was a bigger incision, or something along those lines. I told her, no, I just expect both the doctor and clinician present to remove the entire mole! I waited another week and of course there is still a part left of the mole, which is hard to cover up with makeup because its raised. Very unhappy with the entire procedure.

The front staff knows my name after two visits, and are perennially friendly and smiling - also extremely efficient. The nurses are obviously well informed and well educated, also very polite and respectful. I have seen Dr. Maninder twice now for a rate skin disorder. He had to be a medical detective to diagnose it right away, and treated pre cancerous lesions on my face right away (which I hadn't known about), examined me from toe to head for evidence of a former melanoma having reappeared (it hasn't), and his nurse injected the nodules on my back and face with a steroid, which completely cleared them up. I was prescribed three ointments for my face, scalp, and back/shoulders and advised to return in three months. I called his nurse four weeks later because my face had in the meantime broken out with a rash and itching. The nurse made an appointment and Dr. Maninder saw me and listened to me. I had a choice of oral medication or light therapy and I chose light therapy. The clinic is so well equipped! I've had my second light therapy session today with Pia from the front office. She is also very well trained and very pleasant. I know that dermatology clinics now offer a lot of cosmetic treatments such as Botox and so on, which I'm not familiar with. But I went there with a medical condition. My family doctor referred me. Rejuvenation Dermatology has clinics on the south side of Edmonton, in Calgary, and several other cities around Alberta and maybe Canada. Note I was 80 years old last October and quite opinionated! The doctor and staff listened to me and I am a happy patient. I know that the treatment will be successful - it may very well take another 4 months or longer but good health can't be rushed. In my possession are prescriptions for 3 ointments and more that have repeats, which will be fine until September when I see Dr. Maninder again to report progress. The light therapy is easy and fast, and also one of the latest treatments for urticaria nodularis and other recalcitrant skin disorders. The clinic I attend is the downtown Rejuvenation Dermatology clinic on Jasper Avenue and 107 Street, in a high rise office building. First let me just say that he is a very talented and skilled plastic surgeon and clearly knows what he is doing. He is down to earth, has a great sense of humour and is very modest. I had consulted with a few other plastic surgeons in the Edmonton area prior to meeting with Dr. Ball. It was extremely important to me to find a surgeon I could trust, but unfortunately my experience with these other physicians were not great. One even made me feel ashamed for even wanting to remove my implants. So when I met with Dr. Ball it was like a breath of fresh air! Almost instantly I knew I could trust him. During our consultations he always took the time to listen to me and answer all of my questions. He made me feel heard. All my life I have struggled with insecurities about my breasts, but now I feel so confident! Her aftercare suggestions were fantastic, and although I knew the results would take time, it's only been about 1.5 months since my session and people have already started asking if I've had Botox or fillers. Gateway Oral installed a 6 mm. implant on tooth 16 and installed two 8 mm. implants on teeth 24 & 26. Since then I have had two of those implants come loose and had to be removed. Gateway Oral installed one implant after the two coming loose, and it as well came loose. On Dec. 10, 2018 Dr. Mather installed another implant on tooth 16. On June 20, 2020 tooth #24 was looked at by Dr. Mather and it was loose. So far I have had three implants come loose out of the four Gateway Oral have done. Dr. Mather had told me how much the fifth implant was going to be when he pulled out the fourth implant. One week later his office sent me a notice via email of how much it would be to install a fifth implant. I did not need to be told twice in a week how much they wanted to get from me if I was to get another implant from their company. I think this was very uncaring. . I paid a professional periodontist on Aug. 26/2020 to take a scan of all my teeth to try find out what could have caused the implants to fail as no one wants to take responsibility for the failure of the implants. The periodontist wondered why Gateway Oral had not used longer implants as there was enough space for longer implants as I had, had the sinus osseous-autografts done. My dentist, had recommended Dr. Mather for the implants. I would have thought that the two doctors would have worked together to make sure my implants were successful. I talked to Dr. Mather after the three implants coming loose. He stated that he only installs 6 mm. and 8 mm.implants. I told him I have had eight implants installed, and his three were the only ones to come loose. I know my dentist used the articulating paper on all my teeth after installing the new crowns on all four implant s. Dr. Mather stated that it was my dentist's fault, stating something about the crowns not being down far enough. Since than I have had my dentist install a 10 mm. implant on tooth 16 and a 12 mm. implant on tooth 24. I have not had any problems with either implant since being installed. When they were installing the last implant again on tooth #24, the x-ray they took showed there had been a drill bit from a root canal that had broken off from doing a root canal. It had been in there for at least 10-15 years. I am surprised that Dr.Mather had not seen this on his x-ray or figured it did not matter enough to remove it before installing the implant. I think the quality of work that Dr. Mather does is rushed as he did all three implants in about two hours. My dentist installed a 10 mm. implant where Dr. Mather installed a 6 mm., and a 12 mm. implant where Dr. Mather installed an 8 mm. My question is why did he need to do two sinus osseous-autografts if he was not going to use longer implants. I have had to deal with the pain of having my implants coming loose, being removed and getting new implants installed over the course of the last four years. I have had to go to dentist offices more than my fair share during covid. A person should not have to deal with this kind of pain, suffering, and mental anguish for over four years. After my meeting with Doctor Mather I found him very arrogant and he seemed to believe that he can do no wrong. I would not recommend Gateway Oral for any implants.

The location is on the second floor of a medical building. There is plenty of parking outside and plenty of chairs in the waiting room.
