We had a visit here for my daughter's sever's. The appointment was fine. I already knew she had…read moresever's, it was more just to see if we could get x-rays to determine that her growth plate activity was normal and there were no fractures and if there was anything he would recommend doing and not doing. He was able to determine there was nothing abnormal, but didn't really have too much else to say except she'll eventually grow out of it (which we knew) and can continue or not continue activity at her own judgement. What I wanted to point out is the extreme pricing of the appointment. Be aware before you take any type of equipment from them or at least ask about cost of service/item. They charged $155 for a very janky night splint, where you can get one of much higher quality on Amazon or other sellers for a mere $25. The @15 minute "low-complexity" appointment was $250. The only thing not ridiculously priced was the radiographs, but these were still over $100. If you have foot problems, and are unsure if your insurance will cover all costs, you may want to shop around before you choose this location.

She plainly explains each step as she walks you through the exam and offers alternatives as you partner to create your treatment plan. I was surprised at his constant concern about costs for the patients as well. I had an unusually difficult walking situation and was referred to him by a friend of a relative. It was actually a very good experience, surgical staff very knowledgeable, made me comfortable and answered all my questions. Got to meet with Dr. Beirman prior to surgery, he was full of energy and assured me everything was going to be okay....cool guy!...I was so comfortable I didn't want to go home! I had no pain afterwards, just some swelling and used ice to help. Had absolutely no problems with this surgery. My only bitch was not being able to drive for six weeks, but I had my pins removed today, no problems there and in a week or so I will be able to drive and wear a normal shoe. If you are considering a hammertoe surgery and have done your research you know that this is not a simple operation. I could not be happier with the results. And I want to stress that throughout this long procedure, Dr. Beirman answered all of my questions, didn't sugar coat any of the drawbacks and assured me that some of my fears and hesitations were normal...but walking around in pain was not normal. I am glad I went into this with his help and I'm glad to be on the other side looking back and realizing although this was arduous, I wouldn't be here if he wasn't a complete professional and an excellent doctor. I hope my review will help anyone contemplating this kind of surgery to consider Dr. Beirman.

I requested my X-rays four times to be sent to my new podiatrist (who is amazing) - here we are a month later and still NO x-rays sent and still not available in the portal. RUN AWAY FAST!
