Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk today was extremely disappointing. I scheduled an appointment last Friday for today at 10:30 AM. I arrived 10 minutes early, checked in, and waited. After some time, I was told by the receptionist that I did not have an appointment. I explained that I had called to schedule it and even showed my phone records as proof. Rather than trying to resolve the issue or look into what may have gone wrong, she repeatedly insisted that I did not have an appointment. When I suggested she check with the staff member who handled scheduling that day, she dismissively stated she didn't need to "have a conversation about something that never happened." At that point, the situation became less about the appointment and more about her approach. Her tone was condescending and unprofessional. When she said, "Anyways, so you were supposed to have an appointment at 10:30?" it felt dismissive and disrespectful--especially given that I was calmly trying to explain and provide proof. As a medical professional of 14 years, I understand that scheduling errors can happen. However, how those situations are handled is what matters. I would never speak to a patient this way, especially in a healthcare setting where empathy and professionalism should be the standard. Because of this interaction alone, I chose to leave and not proceed with the appointment. It's very unfortunate, bc I genuinely think highly of Dr. Danek, but this experience with the front desk staff is enough for me to not return again unless it's rectified.

I came to him with back pain and shoulder pain. He took an X-ray of me, and started treatment immediately. After the first visit, I felt much better. Second visit, we went over my X-rays and discussed treatment. Very comprehensive, very straightforward. We've been working in my issues for a few weeks, and each time I feel better and better. It's apparent from his attitude that he genuinely cares about his clients and he has a whole body wellness outlook to his treatments. Dr John has put up with my crazy work schedule and been incredibly patient and flexible. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Also - great conversation. I've came here from a tight lower back and a bad left shoulder, and each time Dr. Curtis was nice, friendly, and professional. What sets him apart from the couple of chiropractors I've been to is that he doesn't pressure me about my next appointment. I know this sounds small, but to me, that's a welcomed difference; I don't feel like he's trying to milk additional sessions with him, and at the end of the day, he tells me to let me know how things go, and if I need to come back, I need to come back. I've been to chiropractors where they make me do exercises, only to see that the exercises that I'm capable of doing, I'm doing well, yet they tell me I need to come back again, and not only that, but for 3 or 4 more sessions. Not a fan man. When I went this time to get my lower back checked out, Dr. Curtis assessed me and explained to me what may have caused the issue, and what to do to prevent it from happening in the future. He also explained the whole adjustment process and the machines he hooked me up to. The overall process was pleasant and really helped. I would definitely go there again.

When I got there, they told me they had called me that she was overbooked. I looked at my phone and I wanted to show her. I had no missed calls at all so I don't know what number she called ? The receptionist said that she was going to try to squeeze me in, but the doctor would not see my mom. Since she was 91 1/2 years old you think she would've made an exception. But no, I even told the receptionist sometimes when we have to wait a half an hour for a doctor that's OK but when we get there in time for the appointment not earlier, they will not see her. I understand they wanted us there a half an hour earlier, but things will happen just like when they were late with their appointments. I will never come back to this location again very dissatisfied. They should not overbook, obviously they were overbooked. That's why they tried to call me in the first place very very disappointed.
