The room was VERY spacious, with a couch for my family and a chair next to me for my husband to sit comfortably while the scan was being done, the scan lasted about 20 minutes. Our tech, Esmeralda, was very patient and walked us through every thing we were looking at. Super awesome experience. We will absolutely be returning once baby gets bigger to do our 3D/4D scan!

They developed some type of fungus disease in the ER with all these nasty sick people that they want you to sit next to even in the same chair that a person that had in either digging in a butt or in their nose or had the flu without cleaning the chairs, they never clean their chairs yet they want you to constantly sit down and wait for someone to come and see you it's atrocious. And a breeding ground for diseases. The name of the disease he caught was. I was allowed to sit near the MRI area past the waiting area. The staff was not warm or assuring. I was told the MRI would be 20 mins. It was actually 45 mins. (I know they're often longer. I just want accurate info!). We were told to then go to the other end of the entrance hall, to a business window and ring the bell. Yes, there's a window, but no bell. I opened a nearby door and found a staff member who told us to ring the bell. we explained there is no bell. She had to find someone who could help my friend. The entire experience lacked a sense of professionalism, a feeling of warmth (people who come here are often not well!) I feel sorry for anyone who has to go here. Never again for my friend.

They never made me seem like i was just another random walking in and it felt more like a general doctor office versus urgent care. I get the vibe most urgent care facilities want you in and out as quick as possible. This place made me feel like I was a human being. They listened to me, gave me a ton of feedback and truly tried to cover everything when trying to get me better. I had gotten really sick with that nasty whatever respiratory infection going around right before Christmas (oh I know, wonderful right?) fast forward to this past Wednesday Jan 14 when I went in. Mind you, I've already seen 2 other doctors and went to another urgent care prior to this. I'd already been on meds which didn't help. I hadn't been able to lay down to sleep in almost 2 weeks (I'd wake up coughing not able to breathe well). Long story short, I was super sick. I came in and was greeted by a wonderfully friendly staff. I'm sorry, I didn't get their names but they were wonderful. I was taken back (gosh I wanna say her name was Crystal? I'm sorry, I was still yucko and not remembering right) and immediately they got to work asking questions and truly listening. Some places make you feel rushed and cut you off. They listened to everything. I was given an xray, breathing treatment and a swab up my nose for testing. They also tried to offer a shot that would also help me, but I declined. They were super sweet about it though. Tried to persuade me but in a friendly way and when I still said no, they didn't make me feel bad about it. No judgment whatsoever. After my treatments I got some new meds and a plan. A special shout to Dr Michael Gales because he was one of the nicest doctors I've met in a while. I wish he were my regular doctor! You know how doctors offices say they'll call you back, they ACTUALLY CALLED ME BACK! Dr Gales called me with my xray results and even asked how I was doing after my treatments I had. Today, he called me again with my results for my nose swab. I genuinely felt like he cared I was getting better. Although I'm not all the way better, I was finally able to lay down to sleep. I'm telling you, it's the small things in life we take for granted. To literally everyone working at Summit Urgent Care, thank you so much. So very much for caring about me and trying to get me better. I wish I could write thank yous to every last one of you. I hope I don't need to see you guys frequently, but if I do at least I know I'll be getting the utmost support from a wonderful team. Would beyond recommend them to anyone out here. While the first two receptionists were rude and condescending, a third receptionist was incredibly helpful and sought out answers for the waiting patients. ​Unfortunately, the manager, Tyra Welch, was visibly upset that her staff member went out of her way to help us. I overheard Ms. Welch "talking crap" about the helpful employee to the rude receptionists right in front of patients. When I stepped in to defend the helpful staff member, Ms. Welch became unprofessional and dismissive. Most shockingly, when I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and deliberately hid her badge before calling security on me. ​Kaiser HR needs to provide Ms. Welch with serious leadership training. A manager should be the solution, not the person creating a hostile environment for both staff and patients.

Staff working directly with patients should demonstrate professionalism and patience, especially when issues are outside the patient's control.
