This facility has proven to be highly unsatisfactory. Despite its designation as "Advanced Imaging," it has not fulfilled its implied commitment to providing imaging services. My scheduled MRI appointment three weeks ago was abruptly canceled on the day of the procedure without any explanation, necessitating a rescheduling. The rescheduling process was exceptionally challenging, further complicated by inconsistencies between text and phone communications. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy... Horrible All Around!!! I would rate this place a Big Fat Zero!!!! read more

I took my friend to have an MRI at this facility this morning . The exterior was old and worn. The bldg spaced is shared w/ a dental practice. where to go and who to speak to is not clear.The interior was dingy, not inviting. The staff was not warm or welcoming. No one smiled. I was allowed to sit near the MRI area past the waiting area. The staff was not warm or assuring. I was told the MRI would be 20 mins. It was actually 45 mins. (I know they're often longer. I just want accurate info!). We were told to then go to the other end of the entrance hall, to a business window and ring the bell. Yes, there's a window, but no bell. I opened a nearby door and found a staff member who told us to ring the bell. we explained there is no bell. She had to find someone who could help my friend. The entire experience lacked a sense of professionalism, a feeling of warmth (people who come here are often not well!) I feel sorry for anyone who has to go here. Never again for my friend. read more

If you're looking to waste your day... this is your place. No respect or regard for your time. They ask you to arrive early and make you wait for HOURS. Funny how if you showed up late to your appointment they would most likely tell you you're out of luck and have to reschedule but when it's on YOUR time they take their sweet leisurely time getting to you. I was scheduled an MRI appointment and took a partial day off from work to accommodate. I sat in the lobby for about 20 minutes before I was called up to be informed that my MRI was not approved yet. I inquired to see if they typically call prior to the appointment to inform me if it has been approved or not, and they responded stating that they typically do, but that was not the case for me. The receptionist was kind, but definitely needs to improve their processes and customer care. I came to this location because I am claustrophobic and they have an open MRI machine. However, I will not be returning to this location due to this mishap. It's unfortunate but hope they improve their care quality to ensure they are accommodating to their clients. Updating my review that started with a 1 star. Within a few hours of posting my review, I received a call from Sharon and Julie, who facilitate operations at Adanced Imaging Center. They genuinely apologized for the mishap and wanted to help remedy the issue. They will ensure that once I have my insurance approved, they will get me in for an appointment ASAP, and will request for results to be available same day. I appreciate the personal customer care and for connecting with me. This goes a long way in my book. They showed empathy and understanding. This just shows that sometimes things may happen, but communication and grace is important. I will continue to give grace and understanding to others as well. Scheduled me for 11am for a CT, and told me to be there 15mins early. I arrived on time, but the technician was in a meeting. After being there for 45mins I left. The receptionist with glass and long hair is rude, they seriously need to get it together. Don't schedule people if your technician aren't available to keep their appointments on time. Over all my experience was terrible. read more

I am updating my review. After my Doctor called the operation manager. She called me, I believe her name is Sharon. She called me to apologize for the experience I had had with the people I had talked to in the past there. She squeezed me in to have my MRI 2 days later. Everyone was very pleasant from the girl in the front that checks you in. To the tech who had to do my MRI which took over 2 hours because of all the different pictures they needed to take. Hopefully her staff that is rude to people on the phone and unapologetic will learn from the experience after she talked to them about the way they talk to people. I've been coming to the Lancaster CA location for 9+ years, and will not be back. I will only go to Palmdale or Valencia CA locations. There has been a complete change in all front office staff, at Lancaster, and they are difficult to schedule with, often enter the wrong body part causing confusion with insurance which also limits appointment time availability. In Lancaster specifically, I clearly hear them from the lobby, and hear they way they talk to insurance on the phone and they are overly rude. They are unprofessional in their casual conversations among one another, which is also clearly heard in the lobby. They talk badly about coworkers in their casual conversation. They openly talk bad about insurance companies they dislike as well. I have zero doubt they talk the same about patients. I won't ever be back. read more

This is the absolute worst place to come for xrays or mammograms. They rescheduled multiple appointment's with no tech available. A STAT order took 2 hours for a broken nose. This is a great center for imaging work. They have an open MRI that is more "open" than the other one I have seen in Lancaster, and then there's the really important stuff ... the staff is really good in that they handle everything quickly, efficiently and accurately, and at the same time come across as really being willing to accommodate any reasonable request we make. And when it comes to the actual imaging work, they are fabulous in how you get treated, very patient, and overall a real credit to the center. read more

Brought my 2year old daughter today an was physically assaulted by their lab tech named SALLY. We were there to get her lateral neck xray and it is a pretty simple procedure (as she only needs to sit still and look up- no touching involved). Sally went ahead and told the other tech who was going to take the picture "MAKE IT QUICK BECAUSE SHE WILL CRY!". Sally has made up her mind that she was gonna make my daughter cry. Take note: my daughter was not crying yet at that time but she js feeling a little scared by Sally's presence so she kept hugging me. And then this is when it gets worse. SALLY GRABBED MY DAUGHTERS HEAD AND HAIR, PULLED HER HAIR BACK AND THE OTHER TECH TOOK A SHOT QUICKLY AND THEN SHE LET GO OF HER. I stood up, left, and said, were done. While feeling bad for my kid, the other tech who took a pic walked me out and gave me his manager's number and he said he agree it wasnt right. PARENTS, DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. I AM PRAYING that this does not happen to anybody's child as the trauma that this brings to them - is just not worth it! read more

I was sent by my MD for a STAT foot X-ray on 1/4/22. I was told by the receptionist that they could not accommodate me because the Medicare server was down. I had my Insurance card and the do accept Medicare. She told me they needed to verify that I was medicare eligible, in addition to an insurance card. I asked if I could pay cash and they could then bill medicare. Her terse reply was $100 and no. I have never been more humiliated in front of other people. I went down the street to Renaissance Imaging, where they crated my foot. I have been to Advanced Imaging many times before, but never, never again. Particularly when there are other choices, including Renaissance, who treat people courteously and with respect. read more

Disgusted with their service....I was rescheduled twice and it was all at the last minute!! Then scheduled me for the Santa Clarita location early in the morning but did not tell them I was coming or sent over my paperwork. I drove from Lancaster to Santa Clarita had to wait a couple of hours because their tech wasn't scheduled to come in until 10am. Thankful the Santa Clarita office was nice, but I had to wait! This place needs serious management work. They need a lead or supervisor just for their customer service representatives. This facility has no structure and the workers seem confused and like they don't know what they are doing. Most of them are chatting instead of doing actual work. I've seen multiple clients complain to them in person that the service is all over the place. I went back and forth with the reception who swore my paperwork wasn't there but when I contacted my lawyer they told me it was already sent over. And the receptionist laughed and said "oh it is here" why are you arguing with a client??? Also they call their clients at NIGHT sometimes after 6 . I was called at 6:15pm , the day before my appointment and told that they had no paperwork on me and could not do the appointment. This as unprofessional as it is rude and gives the clients no time to figure out their paperwork. It was unnecessary stress and I had to contact my lawyer out of office hours , which again is beyond rude. I will NEVER go back to this place. read more

Facility overall looks dirty. Front desk people are rude every time I've been here. They all seem to hate being here. Seems like there is s high turn over too. Horrible. Stuck my arm 3 X to set an IV. On 3rd go around went is same spot as before painful to say the least. Amateur hour For an older woman who you'd think has been doing it for a while. Check to see if your doctor may be a part owner of this facility. If they sent you here ask if they have any relation to this dump financially otherwise ask to go elsewhere. read more

Was referred to this place for a spine MRI, very friendly and nice staff, MRI took no time at all, staff gave headphones and asked what type of music taste you'd like to listen to! Very caring and nice, you don't get good service around the AV much anymore so it was nice to have a good experience! read more

I made an appointment last week Friday Oct 30 for an MRI and after some hoop jumping was able to make that appointment for the following Friday Nov 6 at 8:30 am. Today is Thursday Nov 5th and I just got a reminder call at 9:10am to confirm my appointment. Well an hour later at 10:18am I get another call telling me that my appointment "will have to" be moved to 1:30pm on Friday. No "I'm sorry will you be able to make that new appointment time?" It was simply stated that "Im putting you into the 1:30 time slot". I made my appointment a week prior to avoid any issues and here they are calling me less than a day before to change to a time I can't and shouldn't have to try to meet. I reviewed the Palmdale location a few weeks back when I had a different procedure done at that office and I was hoping that the bad experience that I had there was office specific, but I see Im wrong. This office is actually WORSE. Im done with AIC. I called over to Palmdale Regional and a really nice lady helped me book the appointment for the same time that my initial appointment was made with AIC. I have had MRI's and ultra sounds done here and I was very happy with the staff, scheduling, and procedures. I can honestly say that I have never been to a friendlier medical facility. The front desk personnel, secretaries, record keepers and the techs are always smiling, helpful, kind and knowledgeable. This is so important especially when you're not feeling so great, and also for customer service and the knowing that you are being treated properly. An excellent facility to go to for medical testing. read more

Going to the office was ok. The receptionist was way to busy they needed 2 people. My info as a new patient sat on the counter as she was helping other people than went to the phone without hesitation on taking my personal info off the counter for other patients to see (hello HIPPA); I had to go up and set the clipboard in front of her below the sign in counter so other patients didn't see what or why I am there. Once I went back began the best part of the experience with this clinic. The MRI nurse was very friendly made me feel at home going into that tiny machine. Finally; I needed to get my info to take to the specialist and called to leave a message. DO NOT CALL AFTER HOURS TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!!!!! I didn't realize that there was an answering service and you cannot leave a message on a machine; I planned on leaving a message!! I was polite explaining I would just call the office tomorrow during office hours so the employee didn't have to go out of her way and the $%#$%# hung up on me, no bye, thank you for calling, the office reopens at .., NOTHING. Where is the customer service around here. This is why society has gone to crap. People like this who have no sense of customer service. I thank goodness I am in the medical field auditing charts for the insurance companies to make sure companies like this do not overcharge. If you can have employees so rude and non HIPPA compliant; who knows what other questionable things you do. I look forward to letting my employer know about this company in hopes that HEDIS will pick 60 of their charts to look at on top of the BBB and the Insurance Commissioner. You messed with the wrong chick this time. Oh and BTW you are not an 'Open MRI' in Lancaster; in Virginia my hubby only had to sit in a chair to get his spine and neck done ( and the results where just as conclusive as being out on meds to sit or lay in your TUBE ). The chair is a true OPEN MRI; y'all push meds to get through the horrible experience of an true OPEN MRI. To anyone out there whom is claustrophobic ask if they have a chair if not go somewhere else. There is no need for meds or IV's to get a MRI. Do your research; technology has changed they just don't want to kick out the $$ for the equipment. Go where you feel comfortable without being drugged. read more

Don't use Advanced Imaging Center. I had to reschedule the appointment 3 times because of issues on their end. Then when I did get my mammogram they said I needed additional tests. When I went to get the tests at another center I was told the tests were completely unnecessary. In fact the other center refused to do the test. When I contacted Advanced Imaging Center they said they were just being cautious. You decide cautious or greedy. I think greedy. read more
