Don't even have to go to medical school to see that this isn't a normal healthy wrist..... Oh but Dr. Yankin seems to think I may have sprained it.... Had an MRI that was ordered by one of their PA's. I guess he was confident that I hadn't seen the report. Because in 3 weeks after I went to see him and I inquired about the arthritis on the radio-scaphoid area. He flat out said you have no arthritis. Didn't argue just knew second opinion because he either doesn't care or never reviewed that radiology report. Of course just by the X-ray you can see that my lunate is translocated. No wonder they lost the contract with the razorbacks. They need to change their email UAMS is the provider of Razorback athletics!! Dr. Brannan with UAMS looked at this same image and immediately knew I needed more than a TFCC debridement. Tried to tell Dr. Yankin I suffered a dislocated L wrist in A MVA in 2010 I said It was either a radiocarpal dislocation or periolunate dislocation. He exact response to that was "I doubt it". Instead of requesting the medical records from back then Like UAMS did. Sure enough I suffered a Complete radiocarpal dislocation with only closed reduction. Hence the traumatic cystic changes in the x-ray. 4 months off work for him to do nothing but a 15min procedure then not even explain to my wife, just threw the scope pics at her and said he's going to have arthritis! I had a level 3 ankle high sprain from landing on the outside of my foot in a soccer game. We chose this place bc they treat the hogs, and I was an athlete trying to get back to playing. They misdiagnosed an x ray. The x ray clearly shows an avulsion fracture, which happens in 38% of patients with this type of sprain. You have to be completely negligent to miss this. Only 3% of x rays are misdiagnosed. 4 years later I am getting surgery from Dr Bright to help alleviate some pain from this. When I called their office manager to look into this malpractice she was rude and uninterested telling me she didn't know why I didn't get this taken care of sooner, and that this is medicine things are missed? I trusted you guys to be able to read an x ray. Bc you couldn't PT said this is just how my foot feels now bc no one knew it was broken, you even double down and missed the break on the MRI. I asked for a complimentary visit to talk through my options, they couldn't even do that. read more

Had a simple corpal tunnel done in 2021 which Doctor Yakin did.After acouple of days I knew something was wrong.Finally got to see him,kept telling me everything was alright.Went to Doctor in Tulsa OK. And found out that Doctor Yakin had cut my median nerve.I have no function in 3 my fingers which makes every day life a nightmare.Plus my hobby of making tshirts went down the drain. For an orthopaedic clinic you would think that it would be easy to get into the office, nope, there is a nice handicap opening to get into the building but not the actual office. I never had issues with the offices that I went to in TX, does nobody have any common sense here?!? If you don't have an automatic door then prop the door open so people in wheelchairs, on knee scooters and people using crutches can get in without struggling. Also so nice when your receptionist just looks at the struggle without lifting a finger to help. No wonder Arkansas has a bad reputation where healthcare is concerned!!! read more

I have had a very bad experience with this place. Not only they hide the total amount that is going to be due for each PT, but also the price of each PT session is outrages, and what's is more dishonest is that these were VERY SIMPLE-BASIC therapies, doing exercises that you can do at home easily or at your local gym. I strongly suggest you guys to do your therapy somewhere else. read more

I have no idea how good the doctors are. But, I had to drive an hour and a half to the appointment that I made with the doctor for pre-op. I called to let them know I was going to be late (my car broke down and had to get another vehicle)only to find out I was not on the schedule after driving over an hour. This was after calling many times and getting a "full" voicemail message. Then they wanted to reschedule for next week when I was less than 30 minutes away. I told them to cancel, because I was angry. But, changed my mind in a couple of minutes and tried to call back. Tried for half an hour and kept getting the voice mail. One of the other frustrating things was when I did get through earlier they kept having to transfer me to another receptionist. Very frustrating disorganized clinic. read more

I'll try to be quick, but thorough. 1. Dr. Arnold was quick to respond to my call. He was professional and I have no complaint with his phone etiquette. Unfortunately he was unavailable for the time I needed my appointment. So I had to see Dr. Worley. 2. Office staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, both on the phone and in person. The communication between staff was poor at best. It was challenging getting the information I needed when being transferred back and forth. 3. The assisting nurse or aide was unresponsive and unfriendly. May as well have been absent from the visit entirely. No greeting or smile. 4. Dr. Worley was the icing on the cake of this clinic. I could have dealt with all of the above if he was a competent Dr. His attitude alone is enough for me to tell everyone to stay away. What's worse is what I had to deal with physically after the fact. A. He misdiagnosed and misrepresented my injury on my chart. He said I had IT band syndrome. When in fact I had dislocated my hip. B. He wrote on my chart that the pain was moderate. I clearly stated (and plain to anyone with site) I could barely walk and that the pain was severe and getting worse. C. Because of his misdiagnoses he did not instruct me to stay off of my hip. This lead to dislocating the hip two more times. Although Worley wrote a script for physical therapy... how is the physical therapist supposed to know what to help me with if the prescribing doctor was just guessing at what my injury was. D. I am now dealing with the aftermath of not one, but three injuries! Two of which could have been prevented if he had given proper care. E. Worse yet is now I have to be monitored closely for AVN! I could go on... but hopefully I've said enough of a warning. I have been off of my hip completely now for a little while now, and no more injuries have taken place due to consistent care and the advice of a (new) competent physician. I am now finally beginning to see improvement in pain and movement. I will begin physical therapy for MY SPECIFIC injury when the new doc says I am ready. I would not recommend this office to anyone, but if you must go here... avoid dr. Worley. read more

This clinic obviously has the very latest in technology for viewing your X-rays, CT scans & MRIs, right at the doctor's fingertips in the exam rooms. Dr. Yakin is a highly experienced, skillful & talented Orthopaedist. He took every single aspect of my ankle problem into account & is still gathering information, but I left with an excellent understanding of my injury, the treatment & what I/we need to do to make it heal properly. *** My accident occurred on 3/20/2017 I had a broken Fibula and a separated ankle on my right leg*** After being completely unsure about my visit to Ozark Orthopedic to visit Dr. Coker, my wife and I felt as if a second opinion would be a great idea. After doing some research on Advanced Orthopedic Specialist and discovering that they work with the Arkansas Razorbacks I thought this has got to be the place. I called on the day after I left from Ozark Orthopedic and instantly was scheduled an appointment for 8:50am that morning. When I arrived the building was new-ish and the staff welcomed me and treated me as a patient and not a number. I met with Dr. Yakin he asked me some medical questions examined my leg and did some basic medical checks, he listed to my heart and lungs. He told me what procedures that he would be doing. I was really impressed with what he thought would be the best way to fix my broken Fibula and separated ankle. After the visit we went to the Patient Advocate who was 100x that of the one at Ozark Orthopedic. She looked up what procedures Dr. Yakin would be doing and told us an amount. They scheduled me for the following Tuesday... On the day of my surgery which was scheduled for 8:50am I received a call from someone about 7:00am asking me if I was on my way. I told the lady over the phone that my appointment was at 8:50am and will be there a that time. My surgery was held at Northwest Surgery across the road (it used to be Physicians' Specialty Hospital) Everything was so rushed when I got to the front desk. On my way back to be prepped for surgery everything was good. Dr. Yakin with Advanced Orthopedic Specialist came in and asked me how I was. He asked me for my cell number so he can call me afterwards to see how I was holding up. The lady that prepped my leg started shaving my right leg with this thing the medical field calls an electric razor (more like a pissed off cat scraping your hair off.) then the Anesthesiologist came in he greeted himself and said today we're operating on your left ankle is that correct? I said no it's my right ankle. Ha. I went into surgery and was in recovery for what seemed to be 10 minutes and I felt so rushed to get me out of there. Now I'm in the recovery stage which is very great! I can't wait to get back to my active lifestyle! read more

Let me start off by saying the Doctors here are extremely nice. The staff on the other hand...they are enough to make you turn right back around and leave. The receptionist furthest from the bathroom is absolutely repulsive. Not only was she short, rude, and unhelpful with my family... she was also very rude on the phone. In addition to her, the manager, Kayla is a joke. How she got the title of manager, it blows my mind. She is so rude and left my wife in tears because of the way she had been treated. At checkout she spoke to me like I was as ignorant as they come. I witnessed her telling me she was unable to help me check out, then proceed to discuss her exciting weekend of drinking with another employee. But hey, at least she wasn't talking down to other workers in the practice like I had seen before. I have since then given Dr. Sites a try, and not only is he great, but his staff is so sweet and welcoming. The receptionist is incredibly nice in particular. Maybe Kayla ( manager of Arnold's side) should take some pointers from her. Thank you for the better experience Dr.Sites ( and your staff). This goes to show that the staff can ruin the overall experience. read more
