The spacing between my T11/T12 vertebrae is now 7.14 mm, up from 0.9mm when starting July 7th. I had other vertebrae with minimal spacing and causing me problems in both my cervical and lumbar areas of my spine... all of which are now above 7mm in spacing. I also had a severe spine curve in the upper cervical area and it is now straight. I am now back to being mobile and doing things that I once did. This is something I wasn't sure would ever be possible again, or at least not without some sort of back surgery. In transparency, I was. My pain was so intense and had taken away my quality of life that I decided it would be worth the risk. In an attempt to maybe help one of you, I want to share my progress up to this point in my therapy. When I started July 7th, 2025, I had disc between T11/T12 vertebrae that had a spacing of 0.9mm. My therapy is occurring twice per week and during my 13th session I had an X-ray and the disc has now quadrupled in size. My pain when starting July 7th had been a 7-8 on a scale of 1-10 and had remained this intense for over three months. Nothing I could do would give me relief. Today, two months into my treatment, my pain level is a 1-2 and is intermittent. Unlike it was two months ago. In addition to the therapy/treatment, Dr. Smith and his entire team are second to none. They treat you like family. From the moment you walk into their office, you quickly realize you - the Patient, along with your health are of the utmost importance. I will look for alternative relieve rather than stay with a company that is so busy that they have their patient wait 3 months to get help. You should not have to wait 3 month to get relieve from pain.

Dr Cox explained what this procedure entailed and respected my concerns. The surgery was an outpatient procedure and went home the same day. It's been a year now and I am totally satisfied with Dr Cox's work. Of course the Reverse revision is just that, reverse and it has its limitations. We were promptly greeted and checked in, updated new insurance for the year and as soon as I sat down called to the back for X-Rays. Waited maybe two min for the X-Ray tech and then after X-Ray taken to the exam room. Once the nurse left, Dr. Griffey entered in less than a minute. I explained my issue as he examined and reviewed my prior records, he had great communication regarding my options and what each obtain contained.
