I have been going to this Dr. and office for about 15 years. The Dr. and staff are always very pleasant and I have never had a negative experience of any kind. I am puzzled by the bad reviews I have been reading, so I thought I should give a review about my own experience there. The radio frequency procedure helps me greatly with my back pain and mobility. It has allowed me to be more mobile and take daily walks, which I couldn't do before. I am so thankful for Dr. Grewal, Dr. Adolfo Salcido, Dr. Lika Rosette, and Dr.Kosla, not sure if I spelled them all correctly. They are always kind, helpful, caring, friendly, explain everything thoroughly so I understand everything, and provide excellent sedation during the procedure... I forgot the anesthesiologists name, but she is super kind. The nurses and staff are always nice as well. I can't think of any negative experience I have had, or witnessed while I was in the office. I would advise a person considering going to this office, to try it out and see if it is to their liking, and then make their decision on whether this doctor meets their needs and helps them. read more

I had a The procedure RFA on my back .Was suppose to go back two weeks later for the other side . I was having a lot of pain worse then before the abulation .Called Dr Grewal like couple of days later to let him know I was hurting .He told me to take my meds and give it two weeks. I gave it one month and went to see him .All he was worried about was me being scheduled for the other side .I was suppose to have it 2 weeks after the first one.I kept telling him I was hurting and I shouldn't be . He was just interested in the insurance payment . Does not care about his patients just the money. read more

Another wonderful thing about this place. They just put whatever they want on a report if your workers comp and sent it to the lawyers. Unfortunately we never chose this doctor. The other guys did. They did for good reason. He will absolutely be all for screwing you over and putting anything but the truth on the reports. Also they lie about doing tests. We get every paper that they send in. Dr. Narinder Grewal destroyed my life woke up from a neck procedure with numb fingers since then I have had to get multiple surgeries to attempt to repair the damage he did to my neck pain management my butt I have never been in so much pain 24 hours a day 7 days a week never stops the nerve damage he caused me told when I woke up from the procedure my fingers are numb he said he didn't do anything wrong but covered up his screw up. Showing in the records they never did this procedure please use caution using this doctor laugh out loud doctor of pain that's all he is a doctor that destroys lives. This place has absolutely nothing to do with pain management and everything to do with making tons of money off insurance claims. This is how this place operates...You are experiencing pain and need help keeping it under control. Unlike other pain management places that offer a variety of different services and use the one that best fits a particular patient's needs and situation, Dr, Grewal's practice holds patients hostage for their medicine. It's very simple, if you want a refill of your medication, you must come to the office for an injection. If you need 12 refills in a year, you will have 12 injections with Dr. Grewal. No injection, no refills of your medication. It doesn't mater if you need the injection or not...if you want your medication, you must get an injection. Then Dr. Grewal gets to bill your insurance for a very profitable injection. He does not want you as a patient unless he can bill your insurance for injection after injection after injection. For comparison, I left Dr. Grewal about two years ago for a different pain management clinic. This new clinic has not once required I get an injection, and they certainly have not required I get an injection in order to get my medication. If you want to have an injection every month whether or not it helps so a doctor can make a ton of money off insurance claims, then Dr. Grewal is your guy!!! You don't have to take my word for it, Dr. Grewal paid $1.2 million to state and federal insurance boards in 2014 to settle a lawsuit they brought against him for fraudulent billings practices. How this clinic hasn't been shut down by now is beyond me. read more

I can't even describe the pain in my lower back that I have had since I had my son. I'm 33 years old and would get up in the morning completely hunched over and couldn't sit or stand for a long period of time. This pain is so hard to describe, the feeling of it being so painful that it would make me tired or even nauseous at sometimes. I saw Dr. Grewal who preformed 2 epidurals on my lower back. Him and his staff were so friendly and made me feel really comfortable. I was so nervous going in because who wants needles put into your spine of course that's going to make you super nervous. The doctor and his staff talked me through the whole thing and made me feel at ease. It wasn't painful at all I got nervous for nothing, I should of did this a long time ago. This is gonna be looooong!! I would rather not even give Dr. Grewal one star! For the record, his staff was very pleasant and his PA (Physician's Assistant whose name escapes me) was absolutely wonderful. He saw me first to do the assessment and go over my medical history. I was then taken to another building to meet Dr. Grewal. The woman that took me to this building had been bubbly and sweet when I arrived. The moment we walked into the other building, her face turned fearful and she clearly could not wait to get out of there. The woman who came to get me to go meet with the doctor was clearly very uncomfortable. With a scowl on his face, Dr. Grewal introduced himself to me and shook my hand. He then said "You have what's called __________ (insert really long medical term I had never heard before). We will do a __________ (insert really long spinal surgical term I had never heard before). Call and make an appointment for Monday or Tuesday of next week." He then got up and started to leave and was clearly supremely annoyed that I asked him to stay and explain what he just said. He then explained it to me in a manner in which it was obvious he thought I was a complete idiot. I told him I was not comfortable with that and did not want any more surgeries. At this point, he literally smacked his hands on the podium he was standing in front of and in an extremely angry voice said "You came to me for drugs. I won't give them to you unless you have this procedure." At this point, I am in shock and intense pain and don't want to walk out without the prescription he has in his hand. For the record, I had not been on anything but Advil for about 2 years. The metal plates and screws in my foot had broken and I have had severe arthritis develop in my ankle. I decided to just keep my mouth shut and try to get out of there with a 1-month prescription to hold me over until I found a new pain management doctor. So I tell him I can't come back next week as I have an appointment with my new podiatrist, just started a new job, and can't take that much time off so close together. This time he got really pissed and literally hit the podium again and raised his voice at me and says "What's more important? Do you want treatment for your pain or not?!?!!!!" I responded both were important because the issue is with my feet and I need to be under the care of a podiatrist too, especially because I need new orthotics which greatly help with my pain. He then demands I make an appointment for the surgery right then and there if I want my prescription. So I just kept my thoughts to myself and said I would call as soon as I got to work and could look at my calendar. Somehow he bought that and gave me my prescription. You should check out the other reviews. One of them even has a link to a lawsuit he lost wherein he was sued for insurance fraud! He basically makes everyone have these spinal injection procedures, under anesthesia, before he will give you a prescription. That way, he can bill for the surgery and anesthesia every couple of months. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!! He should have his license taken away. read more

After going through a couple of other places with no improvement on my back we were recommended here, the doctor immediately ordered an MRI and discovered the for herniated discs. Approval from the insurance company within a few days and scheduled an epidural. I could honestly say my back is not felt this good for years. They are professional and know what they are doing! Had an appointment today, went up there to ask them if I can reschedule or if I needed to reschedule because I would have my daughter. The main reason of going, is because they don't answer their phones and when someone actually does get the phone they transfer you to someone that you don't need to be talking to.Mind you I went up there at 0900 hours in the morning. The lady at the front desk then says yes yes no problem that your daughter will have to come with you, so I said OK and came back to my appointment that was scheduled for 1500 hours. Now I arrive at 1430 hrs., and I check in and they make you fill the same paperwork out that you filled out before; So that was annoying, and then I get called to the back shortly after that. They tell me that I need to give them a urine sample which is fine, so I get up grab my 13 month old daughter and started to head to the restroom. This lady then stops me and says you can't take your daughter into the restroom with you to give a sample, the ladies at the front desk will watch her. First of all my daughter doesn't know you are, and if I leave her upfront she's going to freak out and cry the entire time so that is not going to happen. Second of all you knew that she was coming today because I did not have childcare for her today which I said I could reschedule but you insisted that I go ahead and come today. So I proceeded to tell them, "why do you think that I'm some type of criminal", I'm a police officer this is what I do and I'm not going to be treated like I'm a criminal when i'm coming to get service from you. You're supposed to be professional and a doctor so why are we having this conversation. I would not suggest anyone go to this facility and find somewhere else to go because they are not compassionate or professional at all. If that's the case, then you need to do like other facilities and have the patient into their pockets and put them inside secure compartment and give them the key. Once they are done they come out give you the sample and they get their things back out of the compartment. Don't make things harder than what they need to be and then when you walked away from me and close the door, you thought that I didn't hear you but I heard what was said. And the racial comment that I will not repeat. I suggest someone goes to so another facility And not use them. My opinion alone but I've heard from several other people the same exact thing. The nurses are great and all of that, dr grewal is nice and he's pulled me through a lot, however now it's about the money and it's a shame that you feel like crying because of the stress they put you through just to get treated. read more

Dr. Grewal is horrible!!!!! I went to see him as a new patient for a very painful immune disorder, and when I checked in I was asked for my MRI. I went on to explain that I don't have one and I have been under the care of a pain doctor that is 30 minutes away and would like to find a doctor closer to where I live. They told me to have a seat and I proceeded to wait for two hours before being called back. I was brought into a room with 2 rows of beds separated by curtains (like an ER). I was there for 30 minutes as I watched one patient after another get wheeled in and out of what looked like an operating room. When the doctor finally showed he was very rude when he asked me where I was having pain, after I explained where my pain was and what the cause is he said "ok, we will get you scheduled to do a spinal blockage injection for tomorrow". There was no questions about how long I have been in pain, what have I done to help ease my pain, absolutely nothing about my history. When I responded that I wasn't comfortable with him putting a needle in my spine as his first approach he got very upset and told me that "if I wasn't willing to get this done he could not prescribe me any medication or it would appear as though I was an addict." I again told him I was not comfortable at all with that approach and I left out of there so fast!!! read more

Please beware! With 13 years of chronic, constant and intensive pain, receiving treatment from the work comp system due to auto accident on job I have experienced working with a plethora of physicians, surgeons, physical therapists and pain management companies. My substantial experience with Dr. Narindeer Grewal, at Advance Pain Management, was the absolute underbelly of the entire Work Comp System. I found he, himself the individual and professional, to be someone driven by despicable ethics and selfish motives. Be careful not to allow anyone in this position of authority to convince you that you require injections such as facet nerve block or radio frequency inections (those directly into spine) especially when they threaten to discontinue your pain medication unless you do so...especially time and again after no positive results have occurred. These unconscionable professionals such as Dr. Narindeer Grewal will bully you into having unnecessary procedures (much akin to running a mill of volumes of patients that receive injections) in which they/ he must significantly and greedily benefit financially from through the unethical manipulating of patients. I've had conversations with other chronic pain/work comp patients and professionals that concur with my experience/assessment of this professional.
