Dr Antebi was so unprofessional and rude. My husband had an ankle fracture in which he had surgery for. He is a big guy, but Dr Antebi straight up said he had "cankles" and made several cracks about his weight, and not professionally. Right in front of me and his nurses. Not only was he rude, we believe he'd had the sutures removed too early as there was a gaping hole in his ankle which, of course in turn, had gotten infected. Had we not seen a Wound Care Dr on our own, this would've gotten way out of hand as Dr Antebi had no concern and had scheduled follow ups way out in advance during the infection with no additional care other than to "keep it clean and watch it". I thought this was his job. The Wound Care Dr even mentioned Antebi should've taken better care and action in regards to this. Thank God the wound was eventually healed with the help of the Wound Care Specialist. Now he has a gnarly scar, due to the sutures being removed too soon and the infection eating at his flesh. read more

Dr. Antebi reviewed my condition and expressed his confidence that this surgery looked right in-line with his specialty. Jennifer, the surgery scheduler, quickly set up the surgery date. The hip was replaced January 23rd and after only 4 or so hours, I was released as an out patient. It's been 3 months and I am back to everyday activities, driving, walking, house chores, yard work, even short rides on the mountain bike. I only gave him one star because I had too. Dr. Antebi was extremely unprofessional and rude in dealing with my mom and her surgery. My mom fell and broke her femur. She is a bigger woman and is well aware of her own size. She was taken to the hospital and Dr. Antebi was assigned to perform her surgery. While in pre-op he was extremely rude to my mom and rudely commented on her size as if she wasn't aware what she looked like, telling her the hardware being put in "was designed to only hold so much weight." After surgery when he came to update us (other people were in the waiting room) on how the surgery went, he said "she is morbidly obese" when we asked about physical therapy and kept referring to her "large frame and large leg" when that wasn't necessary with the explanation. When talking about how to care for her at home he said hygiene was a big thing even if we got her in the shower and just "hosed" her off, like she's some animal or something. He was never pleasant to talk with. Very arrogant and had no consideration for how the patient or her family felt after a traumatic situation. If you are skinny you will love him and he will love you. If you are close to being over weight, good luck. We requested her records be transferred to her orthopedic doctor, Dr. Taylor and for him not to even do a follow up with her in the hospital. read more

He is a great Dr for orthopedic trama.i was an ankle patient and he was able to put me back together from a broken bone and a crushed bone with dislocation. He was able to handle all of my side effects such as infections, and open skin. He said he would fix me and I am fixed. He cared about all aspects of my case, and still gives me care for any problems that might arise , such as arthritis. He's very busy but still makes time for me. I couldn't have found a better surgeon anywhere or doctor. He is conveniently located in the Antelope valley, Santa Clarita, and I know he also works at Holy Cross in the San Fernando valley. He was highly recommended to me by a friend who broke many bones in an accident and was put together again, successfully by Dr Antebi. As a very active person before my surgery I was worried about a long recovery but was back in the gym after about 12 weeks and now am hiking again and stronger than ever.
