I am puzzled by the bad reviews I have been reading, so I thought I should give a review about my own experience there. The radio frequency procedure helps me greatly with my back pain and mobility. It has allowed me to be more mobile and take daily walks, which I couldn't do before. I am so thankful for Dr. Grewal, Dr. Adolfo Salcido, Dr. Lika Rosette, and Dr.Kosla, not sure if I spelled them all correctly. They are always kind, helpful, caring, friendly, explain everything thoroughly so I understand everything, and provide excellent sedation during the procedure... I forgot the anesthesiologists name, but she is super kind. The nurses and staff are always nice as well. I can't think of any negative experience I have had, or witnessed while I was in the office. I would advise a person considering going to this office, to try it out and see if it is to their liking, and then make their decision on whether this doctor meets their needs and helps them.

The nursing staff are all amazing and the nurses in the Operating Room, whom I have known and been their patient since 2008, and they almost all know me by name any time that I have to get something done at AVSI!!!! Facilities are always extremely clean and well maintained!!! Overbooked appointments, Rude front office staff, RUDE back office staff, hours (Yes, HOURS!) long wait, and excuses out the window! Appointment scheduled for 1pm. Got a call at 10am, a cancelled appointment! If I can get there by 11, I would be processed. When I was standing to be checked in, receptionist answered phone. Person on phone was told 'if you don't check in within 15 minutes of your appointment time, we cancel and you will need to reschedule!' Ok, everything timed? Gave my info & cards, to receptionist, given back. Receptionist said 'have a seat and we'll call you back in a few.' I asked her if there were any more chairs? 9 occupied chairs and 15 people standing! Covid protocol. What? You can't bring more chairs, but it's ok to have lobby packed with standing people? Ok! Finally called back. IV rig inserted in right hand, told it would be a few minutes. And I sat. People out for recovery, people in for procedure. People called back from lobby. It is now almost 2.5 hours past my original appointment time of 1pm. I finally got the attention of nurse (?) and asked how much longer? 2 more people ahead of you. WHAT? Was told, Each procedure 30-45 minutes, clean up equipment and room, add another 15-30 minutes. 2 more people, fastest amount of time, waiting another 2-3 hours before I'm taken back! Nurse confirms time line. NO! You have the nerve to call me and ask me to come in 2 hours early, then 2.5 hours past my original appointment time and you have the nerve to tell me it could be another 2-3 hours? Take this IV out immediately! Bunch of Bovine Excrement excuses! Either you remove it or I will and I started pulling tape and left!! I was kinda nervous about going under anesthesia, but the entire team in the surgery room made me feel comfortable. I remember someone rubbing my hand as the anesthesia was being inserted. It made me feel so comfortable. Before I knew it it was all over that quick. It was the best sleep ever. This was the best place ever for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. This time, it didn't work; in fact, the Doctor administering the epidural, hit a nerve. I left with more pain in my left leg than i previously had. I was alarmed that this office wouldn't even do a cleaning because of this "gum disease" and referred me to a periodontist for a deep cleaning and scaling. The periodontist, Dr. Yeoung, said I not only needed a deep cleaning, but also bone grafting and possibly implants. Alarm bells went off in my head because I have been so diligent with my dental hygiene for years and never even have had any bleeding during a cleaning. Also, it was going to be thousands of dollars that I didn't have. (Delta Dental would pay $1,000). I was freaked out and called my Ojai dentist and made the drive for advice. My trusted hygienist told me there was NOTHING WRONG WITH MY GUMS. These two dentists are upselling procedures and obviously are working together to swindle vulnerable patients, (which is easy to do since we can't see very well inside our own mouths and trust them for their expertise). My experience was the worst! I will be driving back to my previous dentist in Ojai for dental work!
