They make money off the backs of people that are in pain searching for help and hope only to be offered injections that some of which are not even F.D.A approved and provide no relief. I went here for PRP injections. They told me on the phone it would be $750 which is about average as it's not covered by insurance. I get it, it doesn't even help (I've had it 3 times before and it did help), and they send me a bill of $7,610. I've called billing 2x and they just keep saying they are going to contact the office and find out what's going on, but they never follow up. Everytime I call them they say be patient. Yet I have a giant bill I have to be anxious about in the meantime. It's been going on for probably a month now and the billing people obviously work for multiple offices and have no idea what is going on. I've NEVER paid more than $900 for PRP in the 4 times I've had it. This is completely wrong. Really scammy. If they don't fix it, I'm basically going to be screwed. NEVER GO HERE. I'd rather pay a lawyer $7000 than to pay them just on principle. This is rediculous. I should have followed my gut when I didn't feel right about the office in my first visit. I just wanted help and now I still have pain and constant anxiety about a bill I can't pay. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone ever. read more

I havent had my appointment yet but i wanted to start a review because im already impressed. I was refered to this pain management clinic after another pain management clinic denied me because i stood up for myself. From start to finish that other clinic was a nightmare. I called Advanced Pain Management today and asked if they could accommodate an appt next week AND THEY COULD! The other pain clinic took 2 months to finally see me, just to dismiss me in 5 minutes. They also listened to what i had to say about my condition. I have a cyst on my spine that presses on nerves. It causes me alot of different symptoms and has made me bedridden about 90% of the time. I am feeling confident that the care i recieve here will surpass the lack of care i recieved at the other pain clinic. The "practice" has only 2 doctors and the come from Phoenix, each only every 2 weeks for 2 days. You are consulting with a Nurse Practitioner and there doesn't seem to be much opportunity to consult with the provider before the service. As there are only 2 clinic days, every 2 weeks, One is not feeling like One's pain is a priority. I was recommended to this place by my Doctor, and would NOT recommend you go there. After 3 shots, not knowing where or what was given, Pain is still very present. I would give them 0 stars or less. read more

The communication skills between this clinic and the patient are horrible. They seem to be more interested in collecting their fee and a urinalysis before they get to the point. We need copies of your xrays before we proceed and you can't take this medicine with the one we want to provide for you. All this could be handled over the phone before I leave work and waste time and money just to be sent away empty handed. In this day and age I am sure they can request copies of all medical records they need instead of giving me homework to do before they actually do anything. I had my first appointment months ago. I was told that Vanessa would order xrays. Had follow-up appointments scheduled, but the place that I requested to get the xrays has still not received the orders. I have called several times to check the status of the orders. They tell me they've been sent, or that they will send. I know the imaging facility where I request they be sent, and it is impossible for an order to be lost. When I call them to tell them the facility hasn't received the order, it's met with rudeness and a lack of professionalism. They even imply I've done something wrong. I would avoid trying to get help here. The lack of follow-up and accountability is a disgrace to the medical field. read more

I go to the clinic on Carondelet in Tucson and have for awhile. The Dr's are great and very helpful. They have recently changed front office people and they are less than friendly and seem to resent any need for their help. I have not had their receptionist admit to any mistakes and she's very arrogant and no smiles. read more

I just wanted to say I am very pleased with my experiences here. Angela Marton my NP is excellent. She is caring,competent & listens. She has worked with me and has been very patient to get me to a better place with my chronic pain issues. I would highly recommend her to anyone! The doctors there are also great. Dr Delatte is competent,friendly & very personable. He treated me like a person not just a patient when I got my last injection from him. The support staff are also awesome. I have no issues or complaints except to say once in a while they get backed up while giving injections & the wait time can be a little long but the that has only happened twice for me. read more

If anyone provides this business with more than 1 star, I question if it's a result of never having been to any other pain clinic. I have found the nurse practitioner particularly to be concerningly unprofessional. Last time I was there, a client was upset and demanding to know why they were not provided all necessary detailed info upfront-- this has been a consistent issue for me as well. While front office staff is considerate enough while dealing with staff, I do not feel the same goes for the nurse practitioner. If you can settle for mediocre care/service and this is the only place your insurance will cover, honestly I'm sure they can meet needs. If you're looking for knowledge professional courtesy as a patient with high quality care...I honestly advise look elsewhere. read more

I was a patient at this facility for quite a long time (almost a year). They were very respectful, and kind to me on most visits. However, they utterly failed me. They did not figure out in all of that time, that I was suffering a pain syndrome. And that should have been obvious from my persistent pain, and from my symptoms. as it turns out, I have CRPS, It is one of the most horrible, and the single most painful diseases you can get. It is considered incurable, and is especially difficult to treat effectively if it is not diagnosed early. It is also considered to be, according to webmd, "by far the easiest pain syndrome to diagnoses, due to the apparent physical symptoms". I saw Angela M. almost exclusively. She was a very nice, and professional lady. She also did not do a good enough job of putting my symptoms together and reaching any conclusion. AND perhaps the worst thing- there was a doctor at the facility who gave me injections for the intense pain in my legs. He noted on the paperwork that I HAD CRPS. He did not place any other diagnosis opinion on the paperwork EXCEPT CRPS. And it was on two different forms. Even given this, they did NOT EVER follow up on that opinion, bring it my attention, send me for testing to confirm it....nothing! And he turned out to be the ONLY doctor in 3.25 years that got it right! We did not receive that paperwork until later, and did not even know what CRPS was. If only they would have addressed it with me at the time, I would not have had to go through another year and a half to find out what was hurting me so horribly, and crippling me. I received PT afterwords that made my condition much worse, and left me unable to ambulate. I am now wheelchair bound, and the disease has progressed in a terrible way (spreading to other areas of my body). I will be pursuing legal action on this facility for actually getting my diagnosis correct, and yet failing miserably to follow up on it (or notify any of my other doctors about it). Very sloppy, and in my opinion- OBVIOUS FAILURE TO ADDRESS A DOCTORS CONCLUSIVE DIAGNOSIS. AND TO FOLLOW DUE DILIGENCE BY SENDING ME FOR THE APPROPRIATE TESTING. I CONSIDER IT TO BE VERY DAMAGING MALPRACTICE. My current attorney agrees wholeheartedly. They clearly do not treat chronic pain as I have been to multiple who always come up with some kind of plan where this one did absolutely nothing and said I might have a back injury when I've had fibromyalgia for 8 years . I have been a patient here for three months. It is near by and it is actually a pretty cool place. The group of people at the front office are absolutely amazing. Each and every one of these men and women are totally job oriented, friendly and eager to ensure the patients are happy and comfortable. Making sure everyone in the waiting room knows what they are doing and where they are going next, if there are any complications that might prolong their visit. Why just the other day the office had a computer so and so and it seemed to be a serious one because other than the lights, nothing worked! The young woman (and I DO mean young) slid the window open and announced what was going on. It was very early in the morning and there weren't many of us waiting. We all knew what was up, if we really had to be somewhere we knew that this was our cue to reschedule. Love this place. An interested reader may, at this point, wonder why I gave this business only 2 stars when I seem to have nothing but great things to write about it....well hang on. Before this review, I don't think I've ever written about anything other than restaurants. They are, after all, my favorite places in the world. But it's just food. If you have a bad experience eating out it really doesn't matter. You'll certainly live to see another day. Life won't end. Well the business in question deals with human pain, and I am a chronic pain patient. Pain has ruined my life and the worst thing that has ever happened to me and many of my loved ones. If I am to visit an office with the intention on helping me successfully manage my pain: to save my life. This is important. Well as I mentioned at the top of the review, I've been here several times and I love the people who work here. One of the LPNs who saw me was very kind and it was early in my treatment so we just tried some usual first meeting stuff, new meds, new advice. The next Nurse Practitioner as nicely educated and knew his job well. The problem here is simple .... I'm still in too much pain to live happily. They will only try very low dose pain medication as would a fist day Doctor...but this is my life! After a visit just the other day I mentioned that the last three months had been slightly better while some days are very hard to get through and sleep was impossible. In case of an emergency situation, I suggested perhaps a much much much much stronger medication ought to be prescribed in case walking was completely compromised or sleep was unobtainable. The nurse brushed me off like a junkie and informed me that what I had been taking was just fine for now. Just fine. Just fine to be sleepless for days on end and to be bed ridden for what might be the rest of my life. I certainly wasn't going to sit there and beg for drugs. So I left. I went home and woke up the next morning to begin my 3000 milligram melange of daily medications. The Thanksgiving weekend was a difficult one indeed. Almost didn't make it to the table for turkey. Horribly horrific pain clinic! Only thing my husband wants is a order for an MRI. For year if he's been dealing with degenerative disc disease with and his L4 L 5 L5 S1 discs and which has needed chronic care for for many years. Unfortunately he was in a car accident which aggravated his right shoulder and his neck, He now has several Cervical disc issues and have a neck C1 and C2. He was treated very greatly by Pima pain Institute and then we move to Colorado and my husband has been trying to deal with this pain on his own. Once I move back to Arizona his pain has become unbearable and he's been trying to see a physician regarding this issue he has years and years of records but this particular doctors office refuses to treat him until they have all the records. Somebody with this much history of pain and suffering without a drug thinking issue ever in his pain history Is now being prescribed a baclofin which he is allergic to and not only that they refuse to order him an MRI of his back and neck. He is in so much pain he cannot get out of bed any position that he is and it's very painful he even called them and told him how much pain he is in and they said well we don't know what to do for you as you have not been on baclofin for over 60 days. What do you do when you're have actual problems and you are not a junkie what are you due to get someone to treat you and do x-rays and do an MRI or a CT scan there's nothing you can do they treat you like somebody who is addicted to opioids and that's what this clinic does!! We called and asked for advice from the doctor and he said he didn't know what to do other than send him to the ER what did the ER do you want me went absolutely nothing because they don't know what to do because they think anybody that goes to a pain clinic is automatically a junkie. I went for pain management and did my intake the doctor came in and asked why I was taking 200 mg of morphine He then started treating me like a junkie and said that the most they give is 120 mg and if I didn't want that not to waste his time or mine then walked out of the room so I then went to the window made an appointment. The second time I went I met with Vanessa she was very nice and said she would help me taper down and gave me a script for 80 mg 2 x a day. Walgreens pharmacy did not have these meds and script can't be transformed so I then called the office told them I was out of meds and Walgreens were out the person that takes message for Vanassa was rude and told me it was up to me to find them and they couldn't be sending scripts to other pharmacies and treated me like a junkie again so I rather deal with pain and withdrawals than be treated this way then I got a statement from my insurance and they were over billed they charged $500 + for 45 min when doctor only saw me no more than five minutes not only are they rude they're dishonest read more
