Receptionist with pink/purple hair was quite rude. I understand working in a place where you might receive some backlash from patients. But people also need to understand that there are people coming here to receive treatment for pain, and they will not always be in the best of moods. I took my grandmother to her appointment and we ran a little behind and they couldn't take her in at that time: which i UNDERSTAND. The issue was not getting her in at that time: the issue for me was how disrespectful the lady was. Obviously the elder will make comments about it being "ridiculous," they have seen doctors more now than they have in their whole life and it is frustrating. But she had no empathy and chose to talk back to someone who is clearly in pain and not in the greatest mood. Part of working in customer service is holding in your ego and being the bigger person... even if you aren't wrong. Plus, people are sometimes confused about things and get frustrated, but talking down to them is not the answer.. you might know how everything works, but there's other people who don't.
