I've been going to Advanced PT for approximately 10 years. I have at least one herniated cervical disc that causes a variety of symptoms in my head, arms, and legs, including migraines and pain. When I first went to see Brian C., I was having trouble walking and doing daily activities because of the pain I was in. However, he quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me some simple, easy-to-remember exercises. Within a week I was feeling much better and within a few months I was able to make it through my normal day again. Over the past 10 years, I've continued to go to see Brian (monthly now) and we've been able to manage the pain and other symptoms quite well. In fact, I went backpacking with my son in New Mexico (hiked ~75 miles with nothing more than the normal discomfort you'd expect on such a trip) just two years ago. I have no doubt that without the excellent care provided by Brian that I'd have required surgery and other invasive procedures just to get by. In addition, the support staff is excellent as well. Casey H is very quick to take me back to my room when I arrive and always greets me with a friendly smile. This is not the exception, as all of the staff is friendly and helpful, even though I've only ever worked with Brian. I would highly recommend Advanced PT to anyone who needs physical therapy. Can't say enough good things about Brian and the staff at Advanced Physical Therapy. When I started seeing Brian 8 years ago I had a constant pain in my left hip that I had been living with for many years and had resigned to the fact that I would have it the rest of my life. Today I am pain FREE! It has been a journey but Brian has always been positive and encouraging. And they have always worked with me no matter what was going on in my life. Advanced Physical Therapy taught me what really caused the pain and how to live a lifestyle to reduce the pain and keep it gone. During the process they helped me learn what actions I did that caused the pain but also how to fix it. Professional and Sincere. The team at Advanced Physical Therapy is very friendly and committed to the healing process. I had two separate issues as a result of a car accident, one of which is resolved. Due to the cause of my injuries, payment for my recovery is a legal matter. Not only were they willing to work with me on a lien basis, which puts them out on a limb with no payment until full resolution occurs, but the owner, Brian Conly, was intentional when he called me personally (on his own time after hours!) to discuss my treatment options and to work out a payment plan for additional services required. He was responsive, attentive, and in partnership with me throughout the process. With financial issues a bit pressing, Brian expressed a higher commitment to get me healed and we worked it out. In my weekly treatment, I work closely with Marc Douek and I'm on way to full recovery. This is an excellent facility with a bright, knowledgeable crew. They are passionate about what they do. I have used Advanced Physical Therapy's massage services for a few years as maintenance for prevention of reoccurring back issues and have appreciated their professionalism, knowledge, and skill. 2 months ago I had a TKR and began my rehab at Advanced Physical Therapy with Brian C. 2 days after surgery. My rehab has continued to progress each day and each week. Brian C is professional, friendly, motivating and reassuring during each session. A variety of equipment is utilized during each rehab session along with additional exercises and stretching. After each session Brian C makes certain all home exercises are explained and understood and encourages a call if I have questions. As a health care professional I have been impressed by the skill and experience provided during rehab while maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere. In addition to the skill and experience of the therapists the Office Staff are all pleasant, friendly and helpful and it is impressive that they welcome and acknowledge patients by name during each visit. I fractured my left scapula last April and for those of you who don't know what that means I'll put it this way, my surgeon told me the severity of my injury was less than 1% of all shoulder surgeries. Makes you feel good hearing that. After an intense surgery and recovery period I was sure that I would never have the same range of motion I had prior to my surgery but my physical therapist, Jim Bould at Advanced Physical Therapy has worked with me for almost a year and my shoulder has showed amazing recovery. My original prescription was to do physical therapy 3 times a week for 2 months and Jim worked with me extra and encouraged me to continue to strengthen my shoulder. The entire staff at Advanced Therapy is really friendly and highly recommend doing therapy here for all injuries. Jim has gone above and beyond working with me even when I got discouraged by the severity of my injury. Thanks for your help Jim and the rest of the staff at Advanced. My son is a 15 year old basketball player who had a knee injury which required surgery. We tried another Physical Therapist in the area and they put him with trainers, not a PT, who were not bad I might add, but my son had little to no access to an actual physical therapist during his last 6 months there. His injury recurred and he had to sit out an entire basketball season at his high school. We switched to Advance PT and it was a significant difference. You work and train with an actual physical therapist 100% of the time, who understands your goals and injury at a high level. My son is back on the court after 6 months and made the NYBL 2023 national basketball team this summer! Physical Therapy is something nobody ever wants to have to endure. However, Brian Gentile at Advance Physical Therapy made physical therapy something I looked forward to through out the week. Being a scared 15 year old at the time of my treatment I was terrified my soccer and athletic career was ending after two ACL repairs. Advanced Physical Therapy is and remains the best possible choice in the area for addressing shoulder ,ankle and lower back problems. After my Orthopedic Doctor reviewed my MRI and recommended surgery, I wanted to at least give PT and professional massage a chance first. Besides, both would be needed after surgery. I received the best possible guidance on healing and strengthening along with exercises to do at home. Ben, my PT and Stacy. , my massage therapist have kept me functional very close to normal. Advanced Physical Therapy is way better than others. They have private treatment rooms where you can safely set down your stuff and have a discreet discussion with your therapist. They respect the appointment you make with a particular therapist, so you get personalized treatment from that one person (they do not pass you off to another, less experienced person you may not know). I've been seeing Brian Conly for about 12 years for arthritis pain management. He has a great personality, asks questions and listens to my answers, creates a therapy plan, works with me, then gives me a couple of stretches or exercises to focus on at home. The facility is always clean. Advanced Physical Therapy has a lot of different exercise equipment you may need. The staff is always warm and welcoming. And, they have extended hours. I have dislocated my knee twice and have gone to Advanced PT both times. I have had such a great experience that my whole family has now gone to Advanced for their physical therapy needs. The staff is excellent, they all are very nice and take the time to get to know you and help you through the tough recovery process of an injury. Worked with Dr. Bould, I had an issue with my neck and losing feeling in my arm, etc...He took the time to not only try and understand the injury/issues but also the time to get to know me and along with that what type of "life habits" could be causing the issues. He helped design a rehab program for me that not only addressed the issues directly but also worked to fix posture issues, etc...that were also aiding the symptoms that I was having. Since working with Dr. Bould, I feel much better and no longer have the issues that I had before working with him. Highly recommend. When my brother was 12 (and I was 13) he suffered a boat accident that left him with nearly 20 broken bones in his left and right legs. After several surgeries, he began physical therapy with Brian and Marc. Doctors had warned us he may have trouble walking for the rest of his life - however, after about a year with Advanced PT, he was able to start jogging again. My brother went on to not only play, but excel, in football, baseball, and track in high school. 11 years later, we still regularly see Marc and Brian and cannot recommend them enough. The staff is great and the facility is immaculate. I have been seeing Brian Gentile on and off for a couple of years for several different issues. Brian is professional and knowledgeable of the treatment needed and every week I gain more strength and am getting back the range of motion after surgery of my shoulder. Brian G also treated my husband after major reconstruction surgery on his knee and also treated him after shoulder surgery. Both times he was able to get him up and going in a timely manner. Brian was able to get his knee to bend more than the doctors ever thought he would be able to do due to the extent of the injury. I have been seen by Brian and his staff for two separate issues. The first time was out of desperation as I tried to alleviate chronic lower back pain. After many other therapies Brian was able to assist me in breaking through my pain. Marc helped me tremendously after neck surgery earlier this year.
