One of the front desk workers (a male whose name I'm not sure of) called me on the way to one of my appointments and told me I owed Charter about $800 more than what I had already paid as a copay, which I paid the previous day, January 30th. I wouldn't be able to get my procedure done without paying. I'm aware of my insurance coverage and told him that I thought this was incorrect. He began to talk over me. I needed the MRI done, so I paid the money when I arrived and asked for an itemized receipt. He told me he couldn't give me one and that everything would show up on my patient portal. It did not. When I followed up with my insurance company, they shared that Charter Radiology incorrectly billed them for my MRI services and did not provide information on how much the actual services were on the claim. I knew I overpaid Charter Radiology and contacted them to resolve the issue. They resubmitted my claim and still held over $800 of my money. KJ in the billing department was really helpful in moving this issue forward but this morning I saw that the pending transaction from Charter Radiology to my credit card was cancelled on their end and they still owe me $821.81. I tried to be patient and resolve this issue privately, but customers need to know that this company is dishonest, has a staff member who bills incorrectly at the Columbia location, promises a refund and then rescinds it. This issue has been ongoing from January 31st. It is now March 20th. When will my $821.81 be returned to me?

This office was easy to find, behind another building off Little Patuxent in Columbia MD. There was parking right out front. I arrived a little early, (Jun 2026), hoping to get to another appointment immediately afterwards, and they were able to accommodate me. The staff was professional. I felt well informed and well cared for. Results were provided within a couple of hours! That's very nice.

She is/was very patient, gave clear and calming instructions. Calming demeanor - which is awesome especially when you are having your boobies squished. Felt at ease right away. The front desk staff was very helpful in dealing with the insurance company, and contacting my doctor's office to get them to amend their order so that the insurance approval would go through ASAP. However, I am beyond frustrated with this radiology office. I am a healthy, young adult who previous tore an ACL. I was referred to this office from Dr. Packer right across the suite. When I walked across the hall to schedule my MRI, I told the woman at the front desk I did not want the procedure if I had to pay out of pocket as it was not an urgent case and funds are short for me, currently. She reached out to billing and got back to me a couple days later that I would not be charged anything for the appointment. Next thing I know, a $316.00 bill came in the mail for the appointment. After several phone calls to the office, billing department, and eventually my insurance company, it was found the charge came from a $300 deductible and a coinsurance payment. The office has written documentation claiming they told me I would owe nothing. There is also written documentation from billing that mentions the deductible, yet still states I owe nothing. A clear error was made on this office's part (for which the manager even claimed "it was our fault"), yet the manager says she cannot write off the charge and I am still responsible for the $316.00 burden. Like I mentioned, I WOULD NOT have went through with the procedure if I had to pay even just $50 let alone $300. I cannot believe that even with written documentation stating I owe nothing, I am still required to pay this bill. Do yourself a favor and find a diagnostic imaging center with a staff that treats their patients with integrity, or at least a competent billing department that can understand insurance policies. There are plenty of other offices in the area. Side note: I will say, the patient care I received here was excellent, but I'm sure one can find plenty of other kind people to place them in a diagnostic imaging machine and press a few buttons elsewhere.

First and foremost, I have never had to wait. There aren't 10 or 11 people with the same appointment time as me. I check in, get my MRI, and I am gone. The staff is very friendly, have a great sense of humor, and they have a welcoming environment. I wish they were a doctor's office, because they have the concept of not keeping the patient waiting down to a science. The facility is clean and they always have Brock's candy in the candy dish...just an added bonus...LOL. So if you are in the need of an MRI...go here, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Normally that might feel overwhelming, but from the moment I walked in, the tone was completely different. I was greeted right away by a genuinely happy staff member who kindly directed me where to sign in. It immediately set a positive tone. Within just a few minutes, I was called up and welcomed by Amie, who was incredibly warm and professional. She apologized for the wait, which honestly didn't even feel like a wait at all. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out. Not long after, I was brought back by Taliyah--and I have to say, the positivity continued. She was fantastic. Professional, personable, and respectful, she took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. During the scan, she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease, which makes all the difference in a medical setting. What impressed me most was the overall environment. Every single staff member I encountered seemed genuinely happy and worked together seamlessly as a team. Even with a full waiting room, everything flowed smoothly, communication was clear, and the energy felt healthy and supportive. Honestly, I'll take a short wait any day when it comes with this kind of care and attitude. It's rare to find a medical office where you feel both well taken care of and uplifted--and this was absolutely one of those places. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lang appeared to me as thoughtful and laid back at the same time. When she entered the room, it felt like my best friend/neighbor had just walked in. I felt her energy and empathy and professionalism all at once! She did not rush me and patiently listened to me. She got all my info from recent tests I had done and shocked me with the results that were not told to me by previous Dr. I read ALL of the reviews and suspect a bit of snobbery with a hint of deception. I will highly recommend Dr. Linda Lang to all I meet who are searching for a compassionate and learned Doctor.

My report reads more like a prefabricated radiology template rather than a comprehensive tailored assessment. She only used 1 dimensional measurement for my report, wnd i am a human with a 3 dimensional pelvis so her report is extremely amateur, inaccurate, and not acceptable standard of Healthcare. Interprting dynamic defocograohy is a highly specialized skill that requires alot of experience and alot of training and dr uppal is not experienced or qualified enough to be interpreting dynamic defocography. She messed up my report really bad and im dying now because of it. Im going to die because of charter radiology. I love the images they gave me but they're useless when you don't report the findings properly or even interpret the study like an actual expert would. ​ Avoid charter radiology at all costs, they're all about money and not about patient safety. Their poor 1 dimensional interpretations of my defocography have delayed my diagnosis by over 2 years and its unlikely I will survive because im still fighting to get my dynamic imaging studys properly read, and diagnosed so I can get lifesaving surgery. Dr uppal is not a good person. Avoid her business at all costs. She does not uphold an acceptable standard of Healthcare and is a disgrace to this state. Avoid charter radiology, im not kidding. If you want to end up permanently aged or dead from misdiagnosis/malpractice, sure go to charter radiology. Their high quality images aren't worth the misdiagnosis hell they out you through. These high quality images are not worth dying over and i deeply regret choosing charter radiology because of exceptional mri machine. Although the front desk staff treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism, I cannot say the same about the MRI tech and even the CEO that contacted me after my inquiry. Poor customer service. Rude MRI Tech. And an even more rude "CEO". I sent an inquiry to be contacted due to the unprofessional service my minor daughter received for her FIRST MRI. Very respectful and wanted to let the company know my concerns. The MRI tech was very rude to the assistant that walked myself and my daughter to the dressing room. He was very short with me when asking him about masks and earbuds for my very nervous daughter. This was the response from the CEO. Sent at 5:52 pm "I am deeply sorry to hear your remarks. Nasir has been a technologist for 30 years and is an outstanding technologist . You need to value his expertise . Sometimes shop talk should not be heard by patients . We scan patients with braces routinely . I was told by the doctor's office I take my mom to about this location which is so newly opened…read morethat it's still not on the Quest Diagnostics website at the time of this review. I had to take my mom here because when we went to another well known laboratory to have her tests done from a written script from the doctor, the lab didn't complete / do all of the tests requested. That was not good as it's already like fighting a hungry bear to get my mom to go get anything medical done, so when I was told this Quest Diagnostics lab location was in the same building as the doctor's office, it was a god send because I could kill two birds w/ one stone while visiting the doctor. This way, my mom wouldn't be as upset about having to go to two locations, again. In addition, the lab technician @ this Quest Diagnostics location was super nice and patient with my mom (who at this point was especially cantankerous because she had been fasting in order to do her labs). Unlike the other lab who didn't do the tests as requested, Chanel (I believe that was her name) from Quest Diagnostics at this location was really nice and ensured she had all of the vials verified for submission and everything was completed. At this time, Chanel was taking walk-ins. I don't know if that was because we came from an office in the same medical building and can't say if this will be ongoing as the location gets more established, but it was very helpful.
