Fast forward a few weeks no claims were made so I called the clinic to check They asked me to call the billing department. The billing department said that I do have a patient with them, but there is no record of me ever being treated, set, they will write a note on the record, and ask the clinic to update. Fast forward a week I called the billing department and they said they were no updates to my record. I called the clinic again, and asked if there is anything that they need from me to complete the billing paperwork. The lady who interacted with me over the phone, said that she has updated the records, and it should be sufficient for the billing department to process. I asked if it's done in real time and she said yes I called the billing department and they say nothing has changed. I am beginning to sense shady practice here. Is there any sinister incentive for them to get delay billing or is it just sheer Lack of professional discipline. She even took the time to look up my records as we were trying to determine what prescription I had taken previously for the same symptoms I am experiencing. It does not matter if you send emails or messages through their patient portal -- you simply do not get answers. I reached out multiple times and was ignored. Because they failed to follow up with me, I was forced to book an entire medical appointment and pay a copay just to get information I should have received by email. I wasted both my time and my money. It is now January 13 and I am still without the medication I need and still without a proper reply. This is unacceptable and irresponsible patient management. Healthcare providers should not leave patients in the dark, especially when medications are involved. I will absolutely be going elsewhere.
