I live 40 min away and when I get a call the evening before an appt they have to move my appointment, it's very hard to move it due to my schedule. The excuse everytime was that they "double booked" the provider. It's not hard to not double book one provider, and when i asked the question (the 3rd time my appts got rescheduled) "why does the other patient's appointment take presidents over mine every time and I'm the one always getting rescheduled" and of course they had no answer except they double booked the provider. When they called me to tell me my 4th appt there was moved from 8am to 11:30 that was the last straw, I can't just move my appt 3 1/2 hours later when I myself have a full schedule. So here I am 18 weeks pregnant and looking for an OBGYN who will take my time just as serious as they take their own. I'm never late for my appts, and I understand this issue happening a time or even 2 times. But I'm 4 for 4 on appointments and fed up.

He knows what he's doing and he does his job amazingly. He's a great person and a great doctor. I don't trust easily, but not only do I trust him I also have the upmost respect for him. He's such a great doctor that even my mom became a patient of his after my oldest was born. I can't say enough great things about him. If you want a great doctor who knows his field, who you feel relaxed and comfortable with, who can absolutely trust your health with and that if your child's, then Glen is the the doctor you need. His staff is also amazing! I've not lived in Idaho for many years now so I'm not sure who is still with him as staff. However, when I was there every single person on his staff was also kind and compassionate and friendly. There's nothing I can say that isn't good about him and his staff. I've been going here and seeing Dr. Heidi Chasan for about 10 years now. Not only she is a…read moreknowledgeable Doctor, but also a great listener who values your opinion. She delivered my two children under two quite different situations. With one, I ended up with epidural, and with the other, I did all natural without any medication. She is very open and accommodating with your plans and decisions, but also informs you with what you need to be aware of. I've heard of some scenarios where doctors try to lead you towards getting unnecessary procedures done to make things go faster for their own sakes, but in both deliveries, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor who supported me and respected my decision the way she did. Overall experience at the Woman's Clinic has been great. The other staff including the nurses seem very friendly and efficient as possible. I did have couple of instances where I had to reschedule after I got there because of some emergency delivery my doctor had to attend to, but I would say this was understandable. Some things are not foreseeable. And as a patient, if I needed an emergency attention, I would appreciate my doctor's quick response and other understanding patients very much.

Georgiana is a certified nurse midwife, but don't let the phrase scare you. She delivers IN the hospital (St. Al's) and you may still have drugs if you so desire (I say this because every time I have mentioned the word "midwife"--people seem to think I gave birth at home or something--I'm simply not that brave!). I would say the only difference between Georgiana and a regular OB (as I've used both) is that the birthing process feels a bit more natural (dimmed lights, soft music) and less medical (bright lights, chattering nurses, etc). Nearly 7 years later, I still see Georgiana for my annual visits. She's wonderful. She's incredibly knowledgeable and I feel quite comfortable placing my health in her hands. I should also add that the entire staff at Boise OB/GYN have never been anything but lovely to me. The wait time is never excessive and on the flip side of that, I have never felt rushed (by Georgiana or any of the staff, for that matter). Love this place!

Although many couples receive similar treatment protocols in IVF, I've never felt like my care was lumped into a mass protocol; it's always felt customized for my unique needs. Dr. Slater is calm and professional without giving you that cold and detached attitude so common in medicine. She really has a way of putting us at ease, even when delivering not-so-great news. She gives you straight answers and is very respectful of how difficult it all can be. She is truly approachable and really knows her stuff. Every single member of the staff has been kind. There is not a person there that isn't a total class-act. I hate when staff at doctors' offices seem fake friendly, and that is NOT what you get at ICRM. My experience with Dr. West and his staff has been excellent. I had a baby a month ago, and it couldn't have been better. Kristi is so cheerful and friendly that you can't help but love her. Dr. West has a very relaxed demeanor, which I particularly like. He makes you feel more like a friend than a patient and won't make you worry about little things like some doctors do. He was very comforting before and during my c-section, as they can be a little nerve-wracking. My recovery was great, everything went smoothly and my scar is hardly noticeable. I've recommended Dr. West ("West the Best" as the hospital nurses referred to him) to all of my friends, and wish I had a reason to see him more than once a year because I enjoy him and his staff.
