This will be a long but informative review. My elderly…read morerelative had the worst experience at Regency. Physically and verbally abusive nurse aides, nurses stealing medication, pushy, unscrupulous social workers, terrible food, rude receptionist, rude, uncaring management who don't want to handle issues, don't want to be bothered. If you have an issue, they say they'll handle it, but they don't, they treat you like you're the problem and bothering them if you have a problem. The doctors are useless. A nurse aide LaShanta (wears a mask, petite, brown skin) physically assaulted my relative and got no discipline, the management wasn't in the room, they don't know what happened and there's no cameras in the room but they believed the aide lies. They interrogated my relative and tried to twist her words around like she was on trial and not the aide. The units are segregated, they put African Americans in the same unit, and Caucasians in better units. The food is awful, if your relative can't get out of bed, they'll get rabbit food and potato salad everyday. My relative lost 20 pounds cause she just couldn't eat the food, our family had to bring her nutritious food to eat. They allow certain patients to play their music too loud, not respecting other patients. Some people who work there stay in empty rooms with their family or lovers, management don't know. The third time my relative came, a couple was staying in the room, only two patients are suppose to be there, we had to complain about that. They said my relative was good enough to go home but also said she needed 24 hour supervision, and not allowed not to get out of bed on her own, make that make sense. PT was suppose to get her to minimum supervision, she went to PT everyday, they said she was doing a "great job," but lie on paper that she's not. They discharged my relative because "she was complaining too much," because she complained and didn't turn a blind eye to wrongdoing. If you have an issue, they'll retaliate by leaving your relative on the toilet too long, leaving soiled diapers on for hours, taking long to answer call button. They push elderly people in physical therapy beyond what they can do. You can't expect an 80, 90 year old to walk up steps or walk fast like a 30 year old. They threaten patients with being kicked out, if they don't do physical therapy and sit up for hours, cause that's how they make their money. If your relative don't feel good one day, they'll still try to make them do physical therapy, even if you're gravely ill. I heard good things about this place before i decided to put my relative here, but it's going down fast. It's not a good facility. If you put your relative here, make sure you check in often and put a spy cam in the room, because it'll be your word against there's, and they won't believe you nor your relative. This place needs to be investigated, there's drug activity and other wrongdoings. The management don't know or check in, you never see them. They stay in their office. I been on every unit and seen wrong doings. I have photos and videos and will release to the people who will investigate. This place doesn't care about the well-being of patients just about money. Watch out for abusive nurse aide LaShanta or LaShonda. Watch out for social workers Tracy and Katie, they'll smile in your face like they want to help you but are phonies, who won't have your relatives best interest at heart, they just want to control. I will post all over the internet about what I witnessed at this poor excuse of a place. Don't believe the "positive reviews" written by workers. I'm going to make sure this place is investigated. I will report to everyone I can.

At first, it looked beautiful. As long as your loved one can go on a cruise or stay at a resort,…read moreit's great. They didn't tell us that there is a ridiculous charge for changing sheets-$65 each time. I told them my dad had an incontinence problem, they not only didn't tell us but didn't have a mattress protector on the mattress. Who does that? Then they charged for the mattress. We needed hospice for a couple of weeks, they told us they had hospice. They are not prepared for hospice. They don't have internet, so we spent hours trying to hook it up... it was never there before. Perhaps someone is paid by commission, as they were not forthcoming about the situation. If you don't care about being charged for everything extra, like $9 if they help find glasses, and your loved one doesn't have much wrong, then it's probably great. I feel we were taken advantage, the very least not too concerned about.

Webster defines community as "a shared ownership or participation." At Abbey Park a strong sense of community is permeated throughout the 175,000 square foot of space and shows in every one of the smiling faces worn by our residents and staff alike. This sentiment is fostered by the fact that Abbey Park is owned by local partners who believe strongly in the power of fellowship, security, kindness, polite manners, humor, humility and a good old-fashioned philosophy known as the Golden Rule.
