They left my taxes on their desk for over a month with no response to any of my communications through text, phone or emails. i had a deadline that needed to be met and it was missed because of them. absolutely no professionalism here. i originally made this review May of 2024 under mangeluff 66. i see that one of their employees has responded recently and just because my screen name does not match with the email i gave you, does not mean you can just dismiss my post. you guys cost me a refund for that year and i am still not up to date cause i took it to H&R block which at least completed the returns but did them wrong. My name is Marion Duff and my husband is Richard. you guys absolutely did do this to me but it was not in 2024; it was a year or 2 before that when i was dealing with a lot of deaths in my family. i still have all the emails and texts i sent that went unanswered! anybody can handle a simple return with a couple of W2s, but you guys, nor H&R block, are worth the money you charge and i can get better info off Google than from your office. your office caused me great stress and problems that are still following me today! so dont just dismiss me like i am a NOBODY...

If you know your father is unable to be in public without an outburst, why would you put him in such a stressful situation? The business has a policy of seeing first come first served and you obviously knew that based on having used them before for your parents. This has been the worst experience I have had with a business and has caused me to lose thousands…read moreof dollars and created weeks of anxiety. I come into the office and find out that one of my forms means I owe over a thousand dollars in taxes. When I mention that this was not addressed in my return with them last year, they say "whoops we will have to amend that and you will have to pay the government back" because "I did not use that document you included in your documents". I am told to come up with deductions for the past two years in one sitting. I reschedule to come back with itemized information in two weeks. A week later, I get a phone call at 6pm Monday (3-31) telling me that if I want to receive a discount of $100 for their mistake, I have to submit the deductions and file for 2024 within the next three hours. I do so, and submit my 2023 deductions on that Wednesday (4-2). The amendment is not finished until 4-15 despite promises it would be finished several days earlier. Now, I have to pay back thousands of dollars unexpectedly, plus interest, for HR Block's mistake with weeks of unprofessionalism on top of it.
