However, our experience with Ian Miller at Nicholasville was anything but stressful. I connected with Ian via email after asking about a car I saw online. He responded quickly, professionally, and even let me know that they had the color we wanted. He did not push us to come see the vehicle, which actually led us to wanting to work with him. We ended up buying the car, and Ian got us a fantastic price. Throughout our conversation, he was extremely efficient with our time (seeing the car and driving off with it probably took less than an hour), thorough and patient in his responses (I had a lot of questions!), and honest in his business with us - there were no sneaky fees or additional costs once we bought the vehicle. Unlike in other experiences at other dealers, Ian did not try to sell us other things or get us into a more expensive model - he really just helped us get exactly what we wanted. I can't say enough good things about Ian, and I would recommend him to family and friends. If we buy another car, we would choose him again. So, if you are working with a salesperson who is anything but kind, patient, efficient, honest, and thorough, do yourself a favor and head over to Nicholasville and ask for Ian Miller. He will make buying a car less stressful and perhaps even enjoyable! Thanks, Ian!

Showed up and the car was nowhere to be found again. Tried to get me to look at another car. If I made an appointment to see a specific car, which was confirmed as being there, why you going to bait a switch? Very frustrating and unprofessional.

I managed to get off New Circle Rd onto another side road and was able get a tow truck and they recommended AAMCO and took it there. I was late afternoon and the shop was getting ready to close for the day. So I spoke to Al the next morning. The shop was booked up for the day (July 3rd) and Al said it would be Friday July 5th before they would be able to look at my car. I checked with them Friday morning and asked them to check my air conditioner while they were diagnosing the transmission, Al said the would. A short time later Al called and let me know the diagnosis and the cost. My car was ready very soon and the price was very good. I am a happy customer! I drove home to west Tennessee with no further problem.

Transmission issues. The dreaded phrase that strikes to the very heart of a car owner's bank account! I had the car towed to Aamco with fear in my soul! Al was able to look at my 04 Trailblazer the next day. He called to say he'd determined the problem was electrical, rather than transmission-related. (In my book, "electrical" is the SECOND scariest word in car repair.) He explained in detail how long he would spend looking for the wiry, sparky culprit, how much it would cost, and when he would stop to review with me what he'd found and if I wanted to continue if it couldn't be fixed quickly. Later in the day, he called to say that the problem was fixed and that it had been so straightforward, I'd only be charged the labor fee he'd quoted me earlier in the day! Now--I know I got away with a small bill, which alone would make me happy. But Al was extremely up-front with me about cost and time, was sensitive to my concerns about both, and (most importantly) did NOT take advantage of the fact that I was ready to shell out much more to get the problem fixed. I would recommend this shop to anyone, particularly if you have concerns about transmission issues.
