One of the 6 policies was for my home. My existing policy had a $1000 deductible with another company in KY. They wanted me to move that policy with my other 5 existing policies to their office. Even though it was communicated to match the policy I had, Heather matched the premium, but raised my deductible to $5,700! Yes it was in the quote in fine print, but I had no reason to not trust a company I had been with for over 20yrs then when they say they're going to match like for like, that they wouldn't. I had a claim of $6,000 this week, and was told that my deductible was $5,700. Shocked, I asked Randall to review. He did not care and refused to accept that an error had been made. It would have been illogical for me to move a policy into a higher deductible at the same premium, but he claimed I obviously wanted to. I am moving all my policies to Farmers Insurance. If you have a policy with the office, please read all the policy in detail because what they tell you is different from what they actually write the policy for if they can't compete. An insurance company is supposed to make sure your insurance needs are met, not tell you one thing and then try to get away with sneaking in something completely different. I would not trust this State Farm location with ANY of your insurance needs

In the middle of tropical storm Helene the high wind tore off part of our roof. Steve responded immediately to my call even though his own power was out.
