I've been working with Doctors for almost 18 years, the saying has always been "Pick your crazy". I personally don't want a polite doctor, I want a good doctor. No, he didn't speak much, like the previous reviews have said it is maybe cultural, maybe language barrier. He went in fast in comparison to what I had seen online (first lip filler patient) with the injections after numbing lotion, but was over before I knew it. I am fairly nervous about needles and though it was uncomfortable it was something that I was able to get through. His assistant was very polite and is the one that keeps everything in line from my experience in the medical field. The only negative would be is that I didn't receive any post instructions. Everything that I did after was from my own research. On my way home, I purchased some roll on hydrocodone and some arnica cream. I put it on my lips for their first couple days and I didn't experience much swelling and no bruising. LOVE my lips, its exactly what I asked for. read more

The doctor was rude, RACIST, unprofessional, non-communicative and appeared to be on some type of drug. Upon arrival a man in blue scrubs was outside pacing back and forth with a headset. I entered the office and filled out the paperwork. The medical assistant escorted me to a room. As I laid back in my chair, I noticed that the door was opened. No privacy was provided. The man who was outside pacing back and forth entered the room. He did not speak, nor introduce himself. I have no idea who or what he is. Additionally, he did not wash his hands. With dirty un sanitized hands he started to prepare the needles. He did not provide any type of consultation. At this point I have not heard one word from him. The medical assistant put numbing cream on my lips. Within 30 second he was attempting to begin the lip injections. I inquired that the numbing cream was not on my lips long enough. He giggled and stated it really don't work. It appears that his English is limited. I asked about what procedure he was going to perform. I stated, I did not want the Russian lip. He giggled and stated "what procedure you want" "Indian, Chinese, or Jewish. I grabbed my purse got out of the chair and left the office. I was so alarmed by this place that I actually walked out w/out getting anything done. Here's my experience... I bought a Groupon for Restylane without checking YELP first. Truly, truly regret it. I had the exact same experience one of the other reviewers FROM LAST YEAR. (so sad they had an opp. to improve and didn't take it). The doctor tried to talk me out of getting the injectable under my eye area - telling me this product isn't used for that area. THAT, I had done research on, and Restylane is exactly the product used for that area. I was told it was "too concentrated" and I would get bags. That someone else had the procedure and he had to do a further injection to break down the product because the bags were too large for the client. That was all the red flag I needed. He clearly was giving me false information which immediately told me that it wasn't the product that was the problem, he was telling me HE was the problem. 1) I can't believe after a year this man hasn't attained the competency required. 2) I can't believe this establishment has nothing in place to monitor this doctor. (is he a buddy of the owner? how is this acceptable?) 3) Alternately, I can't believe they don't simply disclose that they don't offer this procedure since they clearly have no intention of providing a doctor w/ the competency Because they are aware that this doctor lies to clients, they are aware he is incompetent in this procedure and they knowingly continue to take ppl's money anyway w/out disclosure - and in fact WILL do the procedure anyway - w/out using a cannula etc ie proper technique - KNOWING the results will hurt the client - I SAY RUN FOREST RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the last 'weight loss' clinic I visited. And it's the final one - so it's time to make my decision. If you've read my previous reviews of the HCG clinic s - then you know the jist. This clinic offers massage, physical therapy, chiropractic and I get the impression that the HCG is a fairly new offering. This clinic was just as nice as the last facility I toured and I have to admit - I was very impressed with the fact that I met with an actual physician, Dr. Misty Gamble, for my initial consultation. I was actually going to give them a four star ranking - but they lost a star because the front desk staff was supposed to call me back on two separate occasions and they didn't - so the follow up with support staff might be a little questionable if I decide to become an actual patient. Their pricing is a little lower than the other clinic I visited, due to a special they are offering, but their hours are a little restrictive so the other clinic will work better with my hectic schedule. They offer 150 units of hCG per day, and will 'up' the dosage if you experience hunger with it. They require labwork before beginning the program to check your hemoglobin and thyroid levels. If you don't have a PCP and insurance, they can prepare lab orders and send you somewhere - but you can go to your own doctor and bring the results as long as results are less than a year old. The fact that they're insisting on labwork is also a big positive because it means they are really concerned about your health and well-being and not just treating you like a cash cow. No pun intended. Lol. So if not for the fact that they close early and are closed every Fri, Sat & Sun (must be awesome to work there) they would be my front runners. I have been in a car accident and my lawyer sent me to Advanta and I will say that this has to be the best place I been too. The staff is super great and helpful especially the doctors. The front office staff took care of me with scheduling and working with me with my work schedule. Dr. Schuyler and Dr. Federico are amazing on getting me better after my accident especially when I had issues with my foot. The PRP injections that Dr. Gavrikov perform on my foot got rid of my pain. I recommend this place to everyone and I will be back after I'm healed. read more

I'm new to microdermabrasion and after seeing Catherine once before, I'm hooked. Just went back for my second one and will be continuing to do so to keep my skin looking great. This treatment has helped my skin look so much better. I also love that she now offers packages which is great for me. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I've been there for Botox and massage. The first time was not the best experience, but Dr. Schuyler made it right after I brought it to his attention. He corrected the botox, and was fair on the pricing.They now have a better masseuse, Vanessa. She is delightful, from England and listens to what you need and goes to work on it. If I could give zero stars I would. I tried to make an appointment after purchasing 2 syringes of Restylane for $589. The girl taking the appointment was extremely rude and hung up on me. When I called back I told her I was going to report them to Groupon as well as this review. She said fine, have a nice day and hung up on me again. Unfortunately, there is no room in the service industry for people like her. I definitely would not recommend this business and after reading some of the other reviews I think her lack of customer service and common sense has done me a favor. Absolute horrible experience. The doctor was extremely unprofessional, and I was completely displeased with my filler injection results. When I told him that I wanted the filler under my eyes in my tear trough area, he immediately tried talking me out of it. This should have been an immediate red flag. He kept insisting that I would have "eye bags" for four weeks or more and not to be alarmed by the appearance, "to give it time". He did not numb my face with any lidocaine or any local anesthetic nor did he use a cannula to minimize bruising. He went straight to injecting, as if he were in a hurry to get done, and it was extremely painful. After having the filler, I patiently waited, but after a month there are still obvious lumps under my eyes where the product was injected too superficially. I also have lines or ridges where I initially had none due to the fact that he did not inject the product evenly. Honestly, it's not even worth giving one star to, and I will NEVER be back. RUN!!!! Far far away!!! Like Forest Gump!!! RUUUNNNNNN!!!! I have been getting microdermabrasion treatments for years but unfortunately I relocated to Atlanta and had to find a new aesthetician. :( The absolute worst microdermabrasion treatment and customer service ever!!!! Unfortunately I bought a package of 2 treatments without knowing anyone who has gone here. Poor decision on my behalf. The first time I went in the aesthetician, Catherine Schuyle, asked why I was getting microdermabrasion. I told her about my problem areas on my face in which lead me to come to her.... SHE DID NOT TREAT THE AREA AT ALL!! then she tried to upsell me into getting more services. A few months later I decided to go back and get my second treatment since I already paid for it. This time she did a worse job than the first time. Barely went over my face, didn't touch my problem areas that I brought to her attention AGAIN, and she didn't do any extractions on my face at all!!! WTF Needless to say. I will NEVER go near Catherine Schuyle ever again. Not even if she paid me. Why isn't there a way to select no stars? I'm being forced to rate 1 star in which she doesn't deserve. Came here for physical therapy. Right next to home in a large building right off of Powers Ferry near Windy Hill. They also do Chiropractic Care, which they were running some special on so I may return for that. They also do HCG and Hormones as I saw it on the sign. The office staff is nice but the Doctor did a terrible job with the Botox. I paid for 40 units and can't tell at all. He made 4 quick jabs along my hairline and was done. The tables are not even covered with paper, and she wiped the blood from my legs off the table with alcohols wipes, and I saw the next patient lay down on that same table while I checked out! Like many other people I don't write reviews unless I have an unforgettable experience whether is good or bad. Well this time was a bad one. I had a nice experience while I was being treated by them but everything went downhill when after my months of treatment I received a random bill of $20 which I though it was maybe a copay I forgot to pay so I paid it without hesitation. A month later they sent me another bill of $74 for their services which I found very odd because based one my insurance they paid everything and I had zero responsibility. I contact Advanta 5 times regarding this issue and on the first 2 times that I talked to them, they told me they will adjust it. Now it has been 6 months and nothing has happened, they even sent the bill to collections. These actions can potentially hinder my credit and they did not even had the courtesy to call me to resolve or explain the charges. I find it very unprofessional their lack of communication and follow up with their customers. Their staff are nice but the billing department sucks!! read more

Before I began my review, let me give my Yelpers a brief history of moi. Since 2006, I've been dealing with back issues especially, my lower right side. I would not be able to withstand a brief walk without shooting pains in both of my knees or my lower back. Then a few years later, I started having breathing problems which I thought was adult-onset asthma. The inhaler was literally glued to my hands since everything seems to trigger my breathing issues. There were times I thought I had to go to an ER because the breathing was so bad that I couldn't even speak. Flash forward to March 2014. I brought this up to my physician, Dr. Federico, about my knees. I told him my struggle of walking up and down the stairs without tears coming out of my eyes from sheer excruciating pains. He consulted with the chiropractor, Dr. Schuyler and Dr. Schuyler proceeded to take X-rays. The result: A REVERSE SPINE. I just looked at him and couldn't understand. As he started his explanation to me on how this might be the contribution to my health and physical issues, my feelings ranged from being extremely sad to elation. Elated because the feeling of knowing and how everything started to make sense. Sad because I waited this long and could have enjoyed my 20s. WARNING to all the skeptics (I was one once): Dr. Schuyler asked me to laid on my back for 5 minutes and memorized all tightness going throughout the body. Then he used an instrument called an Atlas Orthogonal procedure. I thought this has got to be a joke since the process was less than 5 seconds and I didn't feel any pressure or adjustment. Dr. Schuyler asked me to lay on my back again and he left me alone for 5 minutes.To my astonishment, the existing tightness that I experienced before were completely gone. Needless to say, I went ahead and signed up for 12 visits. I've only seen him for a total of three times. However, each time was greeted with unbelievable progress. I have yet to grab my inhaler. My knees are so much better. Also, this hump that I've noticed above my neck which was called the Dowager's hump is completely gone. Just 3 visits. Now, I can't refrain from checking out how aesthetically pleasing my back looks. Yelpers, if you've been experiencing some kind of ailment for quite sometime and you've seen your doctor, please see Dr. Schuyler. See if something this easy can resolve your issues. I have been through a course of treatment in the past for back and neck issues as well as knee injections at Perimeter Spine. I find the services of Advanta Total Health to be much superior, primarily due to Dr. Schuyler's use of the atlas orthogonal. His gentler chiropractic approach works better for me. Dr. Edwards also has a more personalized approach to physical therapy. I feel like this time I am actually making headway, not doing things that can cause more harm than good. read more

Danger Danger do not Buy coupons on Loclly. You call for a appointment and every thing is good but when you mention the coupon every thing changes. You are lucky if you can get a appointment in a month. When they first started this promotion for Botox they let me combine the coupons said there was no problem with that. I have tried to make a appointment 3 different times and they want to put a date a month or more away and now they say you can not combine the coupons. They tricked me into buying more. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I didn't like the customer service and wasted $180 on 2 separate chemical peels that didn't work. I've had 4 chemical peels here. The first 2 were great and my skin began to clear up. Then the owner, Catherine, decided to change my course of care and instead of giving me the peel that had worked wonderful the last 2 times, she recommended a different peel that I didn't want. She told me it was a better peel than what I had been getting so I trusted her and followed her advice. I didn't peel at all. My skin never even got dry. So then I went back with the impression that I would be getting the successful peel. She recommended I get a TCA peel (which cost more). I was extremely hesitant and voiced my concerns of either not peeling since I didn't peel the last time, or burning my skin. I feel like I was being pressured to do it because she kept saying to trust her so I gave in and agreed to do whatever she felt was best. During the peel I wasn't stinging or burning at all. I advised her of this and even said during my procedure that it felt like she was putting water on my face and that the smell wasn't strong like it usually is during a peel. After 6 days post-peel, the only place I peeled was my forehead and it was only a light peel. No where near as much or as well as the first 2 peels she gave me. I sent her pictures each day post-care as she asked me to do and followed all instructions. I asked her if I could come in for a free peel later in the week and she said no. I then asked for my money back for the last 2 peels and she said no and we exchanged other unpleasantries via text. In my opinion, the least she could have done was given me a free peel since the last 2 peels she suggested did not work. I would understand if I asked for those types of peels and they didn't work but I was very resistant to getting them and trusted her as the professional that she was doing the best thing for my skin. Now we are nearly a week after the peel and my skin is just dry but I am not peeling and my skin looks awful. I'm very unhappy and now have to figure out how to get my skin halfway back to the place it was prior to letting her do the last 2 peels. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. read more
