People like me on disability can't keep coming back for this. Just be honest up front.

I've been wanting to get a breast lift and augmentation done for a long time. Finally decided to have it done since I'm getting married. Came in for a consultation everything was great. I told the nurse that I'm allergic to tapes/adhesive so we did a tape test. The tape she gave me to test for a week was great no reaction. I told Dr. Colgrove my goal was to have my breast symmetric, have more of an upper pole, more volume and cleavage. I also brought in my goal picture. One of my breast is larger than the other, so we decided to go with an anchor lift and reduction on the side that was larger. The other breast I had a lollipop lift to position the nipple and to make both nipples a little bit smaller. I understand that they will not be twins. I just need them to look even and lifted with cleavage. I also paid to have the mesh(internal bra) put in so they would not bottom out or sag later on. I chose to go with 380cc Motiva round. He did 380cc on both side. Fast forward to surgery day. My surgery was on July 10th 2025. Everything was fine during surgery. When I came home I noticed that they had used a different tape on me, and not the one that we tested on my skin. Had an appointment to come back for post op the next day. The nurse removed the tape to change it and noticed that I had blisters and hives all over my breast. The Dr. did not come in the room to look at it or let me know what he did during surgery post op. He stood at the door and looked in and say come back in a few days and prescribed me steroids. I also told him I'm having pain in my armpit where he did the lift he said maybe because of the way my arm was positioned during surgery. So I didn't think anything of it since he's the Dr. and he probably knows best. Couple days later I came in he told me to stop the steroid and just use aquaphor and took off all the tapes. I think he finally realized that it was a tape allergy and not my body rejecting the implant. I'm not sure why they did the tape test on me and use a different tape during surgery. Obviously, they didn't put it in my chart or communicate with each other about it. So beware if you have a tape allergies. I'm almost 3 months post op and my skin is just now finally healing from the tape reaction. I noticed that the implant on my right breast where I had a lift and reduction kept moving into my armpit and slides up when I lay down and to the side. I addressed my concerns to him. I told him I think my pocket is too big so it's causing my implant to move around. He told me no it's because I'm dominant on my right hand so I need to continue to wear my surgical bra and no lifting or exercising. Did exactly what he told me to do. Came back a few weeks later reminded him again that my breast implant is still moving around and is very uncomfortable because I constantly would have to keep pushing it in, which is not right. He looked at it and said it still needs to drop and told me to stretch them and that to come back in a few weeks and left the room. I told the nurse I'm not sure why it's moving like that and she told me the pocket might be too big and asked me if I got the mesh. I said yes I did and I'm not sure why it's doing this if there's a mesh in there that's supposed to hold everything together. She told me to just remind him again when I come in a month and she told me that he said to keep doing my stretches. A month went by, did my stretches like he told me to do. Came in today reminded him again about the implant moving around and he said implants are supposed to move around and blamed it on me being right hand dominant again. He told me to not stretch on my right side and just do the left side. I said to him you told me to stretch both side the last time I was here and he said because it was tight the last time. Mind you, my right breast pocket was never tight! I'm not sure why my concerns were not charted and that he needed to be reminded every time. Everyone I know that got their breast aug done are right handed and they never had this issue. All he told me was we can't do anything now. I would have to wait until everything heals. Besides the breast pocket being too big, One breast is still bigger than the other side so it's pulling down. One nipple is larger than the other one and no cleavage because they are uneven and going to the side. Least to say, I always leave his office feeling disappointed because my concerns were just brushed off and never addressed.

The techs have always been pleasant but not overly talkative. Now let's talk about the actual job. My pedicures have always turned out ok, but my gel or sns sets, not good. Each time, I've had my nails chip or come off within a week and half or less. This shouldn't happen, especially with SNS nails. The manicures have also been lackluster with no hand massage and with pedicures, sometimes forgetting the foot massage. I will say that every time I've been, the owner, Karen, usually has a regular client that she's seeing and everyone loves her. Seems like she does a lot of specialty nails, so it's kind of crazy that her techs do such lackluster jobs on basic nails chip sets.

It doesn't matter which person works on you- they all do a great job, are attentive and courteous. The owner is friendly and makes sure the atmosphere of the place is peaceful for clients. I have had the manicure service as well, and it was excellent- but I only do regular classic polish (so can't comment on gels, etc). I had to go back to Ohio for a period of time and tried going to my old salon. While it was the best I had gone to there, it could not hold a candle to Top Nails! I realized what a special service they provide. No bored, half-hearted work there! Only caring, efficient, and excellent work. I've been meaning to write a review for awhile- sorry for the book size post, but they are just that good and I have been so happy to have found them. I am almost always a walk-in, but never had difficulty getting a seat and great service.

Jay and Mary were great…read more Recently, there's been changes, and the shop is now called Rio Nail Center with new employees, and the quality has gone down. Still nice but language barrier made it difficult my latest visit. I came in because my last SNS set broke off on one nail so this time I asked for an extra coat because it seems the layering is easily breakable. Didn't help. After 2 days I have a cracked nail and they don't do refunds or cover the cost to fix the ONE nail I'm requesting to be fixed. Didn't plan on returning after this last nail experience anyways because it took 2 hours for SNS removal and new set on my natural nail. There was a moment where language barrier made it difficult to communicate that my nails were not straight and needed more filing. I don't know if it's because acrylic was easier for them or the new employees have different skill sets, but I'm upset that I now have to find somewhere else and pay for a full SNS removal and set so soon after getting my nails done. Katherine is sweet but is who did this last set. I also recommended the place for my friend to get a mani/pedi. Pedi was good but mani chipped after two days because Laura only did 1 layer of gel. All nice enough people, but it's a waste of money if they won't fix problems. Be cautious going here. Looks great with the new changes but the actual nail quality is the worst I've ever had. Telling all my friends to avoid especially since my out of town friend didn't have a good experience either with the nail quality. Update: For me to have gotten my nails done 4:30-6:30 PM Thursday July 11th (SNS removal and SNS) then noticing on morning of Saturday July 13th a cracked and chipped nail then Sunday July 14th a 2nd cracked nail noticeably breaking due to gently washing dishes, these nails are not quality! I've been rougher on my hands when I was a teacher and SNS never chipped like this. And the website is inaccurate because they should've been open 12-5 PM today so I wasted more money trying to go up there and discuss this issue in person in case my phone call was unclear. DO NOT GO HERE FOR NAILS. Pedicures might be fine but nails are POORLY DONE. I want my money back but since that's not possible, I'll just keep telling everyone about avoiding this place.

The location is convenient and the inside is clean and decorated nice. I was disappointed at the variety of polishes. The were no bright orange, bright pink, or any other bright colors. They also have extremely limited choices of glitter polish (literally only a couple choices - - both were silver/white speckles). Their price board shows nail fix $4, but the guy charged me $5. And, luckily I had cash on me, because they charge a surcharge if you pay with a credit card (many nail shops do this, so I wasn't surprised, no big deal).

I went to see Dr. Atkins for help to minimize the appearance of my cellulite and reduce the pronounced fat pockets on my outer thighs. I'm relatively young (31) but hadn't worn shorts in YEARS and absolutely dreaded being in a bathing suit. Dr. Atkins spent time explaining to me what the options were, and more importantly for me, treatments that would be a terrible idea and potentially make the problems worse. I'm so glad she spent the time to have this conversation, because other practitioners were recommending those procedures, and it scares me to think what could have happened. The treatment plan we went with was 1) Elixis to "melt" the fat pockets and 2) Smooth Shapes to smooth out the pockets and the cellulite on my legs. The price was what I expected (not cheap), but is was SOOOO worth it. Dr. Atkins and her team executed on our plan beautifully, and now my legs look SOOOOOO much better. The fat pockets were reduced and smoothed, so now I have a curvy, feminine figure, and the cellulite (while still there, because you can never get rid of it) is much less noticeable and not enough to keep me out of shorts anymore. I would highly recommend Dr. Atkins and her team for these services. They are friendly, straight talkers, and the results are real! read more

I was a patient of Dr. Atkins from Dec. 2008-Jan 2009. I had horrible complications from a fraxel treatment and Botox injections. I fought with her for over 6 months to get copies of my medical records. She finally gave them to me after I called the Georgia Medical Review Board. I called Allergan to verify the lot# of Botox used on me and their response was that lot was shipped to Istambul Turkey and was never intended for use in the US nor was it FDA approved. Currently the FDA's office of criminal investigations is researching this alledged illegal importation. Please dont trust her she destroyed my skin and caused many small bumps to form under my skin that will not go away. DO YOUR RESEARCH EVEN HER BOARD CERTIFICATION IS NOT RECONIZED BY ANY MEDICAL BOARD IN GA OR IN THE US FOR THAT FACT. read more

I had the absolute best experience with Roger at the Buckhead location! I originally went in for Botox, but after talking through options with him, we decided on a subtle lip flip with just a touch of filler. Roger truly is an artist -- not only with lips, but also with Botox. The results look so natural, and I honestly feel and look the best I have in a long time. I had smartlipo surgery at Atlanta Medispa with Dr. Atkins and now my body truly rocks. She is an artist and a very loving doctor. I had another appointment to see another surgeon from Real Self and she was too busy to see me before the surgery! The nurses thought it was okay to take my money and book the procedure without seeing the surgeon. So, I went on this appointment and Dr. Atkins and Kim spent almost an hour answering my questions. While I was there two other patients were in the office that had the procedure and they raved about their results. I recently visited to get ready for an upcoming reunion. I thought I wanted some fillers, but Dr. Atkins suggested botox. I am a bit of a nervous person when it comes to needles. She assured me she would take care of everything, no problem. However, before even starting the facial, she was fidgeting around for about 20-25 minutes, leaving the room multiple times. It became clear something was very off. The aesthetician (whose name I'll keep private) appeared to be under the influence. She was slurring her words, rambling incoherently, laughing, and unable to stay focused. A facial is supposed to be relaxing and peaceful, but this was the complete opposite. When the service finally ended, I asked for a mirror and saw that none of my areas of concern were addressed. I pointed this out, and she brushed it off by saying the blemishes were "under the skin," which was simply not true. Many had already come to a head and could have been easily extracted. She refused to correct it. Out of discomfort (and because it was closing time), I still tipped her just to avoid an awkward situation. The next morning, I called and spoke with the manager, Ashraf, who said she would refund me. However, only the facial was refunded, not the tip. When I called back, the front desk told me they had decided not to refund the tip, even after I explained why I had given it. I was told Ashraf would call me back, but after 24 hours, she never did. I ended up going to another spa two days later, and they were able to extract everything easily with no issue. Don't be misled by the 4.9-star rating. My experience was completely unacceptable and unprofessional from start to finish. I have proof of everything stated here.
