If you've ever walked into a g@n store and dreaded talking to the fudds at the counter, this place will be a huge relief. They know their stuff, they aren't pushy, and the store itself has WAY more items than you might think. They have a lot of things I usually would order online because you wouldn't expect to find them locally. Suppressor mounts and hubs, flashlight tape switches, good, high end NVGs, steel targets, and they personally test a huge majority of the gear they sell - and then put up well made YouTube videos with the results. If you've ever bought an NFA item from a shop and then had them sit on your approval for days or weeks... another sigh of relief with ECG. From what I can tell, they strive to get notifications out to customers the day they get the approvals from the ATF. No games like I've played with a lot of other NFA shops over the last 14 years. Overall, if you've never been in - you should support these guys.

Oh man, I've found a new favorite gun store! This place is HUGE and has an unmatched inventory…read more You could easily fit a half dozen "mom & pop" stores inside this place.. Prices are generally all listed for less than MSRP, but some things are cheaper to buy elsewhere if you're shopping around. They do however have prices far lower for sale items and some of the best prices for common popular calibers of ammunition. Their selection of holsters and shooting accessories is vast, as is their inventory of higher-end knives. I've met several of the sales staff and everyone's been friendly with no "tactical operator" type attitudes. They are helpful, knowledgeable and best of all non-commissioned so they aren't pushing you to buy stuff you probably don't need. The location is easy to find and has ample parking for vehicles of of the larger size that we tend to drive in North Idaho. If you're in the area, you should take the time to at least stop in and look around. Short of a gun show, I've rarely seen such an incredible assortment of so many various brands of firearms under one roof.

Wish he would have explained to me how long it would take to do a job that should be an hour, or less, at most. Gunsmithing isn't prevalent in our metro, and Sharp Shooters was the first call we made. They didn't have a problem with us getting a 3rd party purchase to install on the pistol. Great price for installation, by the way ($25), so we brought it in. Called after a week and were told, 'It's number 3 in line for service. Our tech says he'll to get to it after lunch.' Didn't happen. The following week, we called and basically heard the same spiel, and were told we'd get a call the next day when it was done. No call. It got tough telling my son everyday to hang in there. That disappoints me most in all of this. Regardless, what could we do? If they were going to do it we had to wait. Don't complain to people who are working on your gun, right? Look, I probably could have installed the sights (I have the tools and have done it on my rifles), but this was NOT my firearm, so I took the local/pro route for my son. If it was explained up front that it would take weeks to do, we would have called another service. At the 3-week mark, we called again and found out it was done. The rep stated (curiously) that there wasn't a 'note to call the customer,' and could not say how long it had been since the replacement. Not cool. If we did not call it would have just been sitting there. Picked it up, with another heapin' helpin' of crap-sandwich for this experience. The $25 job was now $54, because the smith had to, 'Cut out the rear sights.' When I asked the rep why we were only getting the original rear sights back (in package and obviously not cut out), I also asked where the original front sights were? He went to a back office for a minute or two, and came back with a blah-blah-blah you can wait here for the next 2 hours until our guy comes in. Yeah, nope. This was a brand new pistol purchased in 2020, and not some rusted vintage piece. Permanently marred the front site area, too (see pics). Front sights on any modern firearm are removed east-to-west, and reseated west-to-east. Friggin' Gunsmithing 101. Effing-ridiculous. My sons (3) and I considered a year's membership at their indoor range ($300 each/plus tax), but in light of everything, that's a hale and hearty hell no. And, if the sights clearly need adjustment when we take it out to the range, I will update this review accordingly...

Wade's Eastside Guns FALSELY claimed to "stock" the rifle, so they charged me their % fee for the paperwork (since it had been purchased elsewhere). There are however some negatives that could make shopping here much better. A large part of their business comes from online sales. They are one of two or three sites well known in the muzzleloader community as a go to place for hard to find supplies. With so much online business you would think the web site would be easy to navigate, but it could use some improvement and streamlining. It does take some practice and effort to find certain items and a number of links on their page come up with no products listed. It can be a little tedious to find some items. The biggest drawback is the time from order to shipping. A five to seven day wait for orders to be shipped is not unusual. This usually means a 10 to 12 day wait from the time an order is placed until it arrives. That's an eternity by todays standards. Especially so as you pay $15 for shipping and handling when so many companies are offering free shipping for larger orders. Negatives aside October Country still has a great selection for the muzzleloading enthusiast. If that is one of your passions you do need to check them out.
