I had taken a 5-week class with Lee and Bob back in 2019 to do something outside my comfort zone and since then, I have found myself using so many of the skills I learned in that course to help me navigate various work settings. So when I was given a budget to plan an offsite activity for my team, I knew I wanted to work with Advantage Improv again. Lee was my main-point-of-contact and he was so easy to work with. It was incredible to see him "Yes, and" me even in the planning stages of our event! Together, we pinpointed a few areas my team would most benefit from learning/practicing, and from there, Lee created a custom set of activities for us to do that honed in exactly on what we needed. Our workshop lasted 75 minutes and the time truly FLEW by because of how engaged we all were and how much fun we were having. Lee's background in corporate really helped with the positioning of our workshop. The whole team had buy-in right from the start and I knew we were in great hands. Dan was the other facilitator who joined Lee in running our event. The two of them are a riot in the best way! Their chemistry is off the charts, their individual skill as improvisers is marvelous, and they had the perfect mix of leading us while also giving us space to develop our own style. I couldn't believe how much we all did in the time we had together. My team talked about our workshop the whole day and I see / hear them referencing the tools we learned in their current day-to-day. If you get a chance to work with Advantage Improve, please do. They are a true investment in your people and you will see the ROI immediately come back.

When I surprised my new leadership team with an Improv team building activity, they had looks of horror and confusion. I specifically wanted to do something that would take them out of their comfort zone and break down boundaries for communication and connection. Lee and Vickie delivered on those goals and more! The joy, laughter, and tangible business lessons we took away bonded after only a short 90min session. Lee and Vickie made it easy to be vulnerable and their experiences reinforced practical application. It has been a few months since the activity and we still talk about how great the time was. We also often reference the learnings or remind each other of the supportive gestures (ie "I got you back"). I will be booking Advantage Improv again thanks to the amazing experience and highly recommend for new teams! -VP Sales for Fortune 50

My company hired Lee and Bob to come out and give a 90-minute improv class as part of a team outing. At the time of booking, I was just looking for something I thought would be fun and memorable. By the time our session ended, I realized we had gained so much more from the experience. There were ten of us which seemed to be the perfect sized group, but they can handle smaller and larger sized groups. They had us do some fun warm-up exercises, which really got people loosened up. They have you do fun drills, and you always have very clear guidance. They made sure everyone felt good about the exercise and no one ever felt embarrassed or uneasy. By the time our session ended, nobody wanted it to end! This is not stand-up comedy, and no one is put in uncomfortable situations nor are you expected to be funny. It's all about thinking on your feet, paraphrasing, and having your partner's back. All things that can benefit us out in the real world, in both a personal and a professional environment! We all got to know one another better by doing this exercise too, which was a really nice unexpected outcome. My only complaint is that we only had 90 minutes! Lee and Bob did such a great job that they left us wanting more. They are both so very talented and creative. I would do this again in a heartbeat and am now considering taking weekly improv classes. It was so much fun!

Very passionate about the subject matter, engaging, clearly an expert who has spent a lot of time in the field with lots of stories to tell, and excellent at providing students a very thorough understanding of bush craft, emergency response, and first aid. He makes sure every student who wants to learn gets hands on experience, and goes the extra mile to ensure students have the supplies and support they need to succeed. It was pouring rain during our course and he took the opportunity to show us how to adapt to inclement weather, maintained a positive, friendly attitude, and found ways to still make every moment a teaching moment. I left the course feeling way more empowered and confident in my outdoor capabilities (I can make a friction fire and my own shelter and rope now from found materials!) and with a desire to dive even deeper into wilderness survival skills. Highly recommend this course for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

My kids are already begging me to book another class.

He learned so much from Modernbrain's dedicated and knowledgeable coaches. He also built a lasting friendship with his peers in Modernbrain who share the same passion with him. Our experience with ModernBrain is nothing but great. I would highly recommend it to anyone who might start exploring interst or would like to sharpen skills in specific speech/debate category. BTW, their tuition and tournament fee is very reasonable and transparent, not like some other instituitions in the bay area.

I immediately thought this was going to be hard for her because she definitely loves her movies. Instead what I found was a thoughtful argument for something that I knew would be hard for her. For example, she cited that through reading you can become a better writer, and have better comprehension because you see the same words and gain familiarity. In addition to better reasoning, she was also able to structure her argument better than I expected. She started her argument with a hook which is a question to draw the listener into her speech then she stated a couple of her main points before she began to get into the meat of her argument. I found the whole thing adorable but I'm sure it will also serve her well in all future academic endeavors. I know it'll be useful even for meetings in the business world if 7 year olds are allowed!

I'm based in Seattle and like many…read moreothers, I chose LearningFuze because it had consistently the best ratings across all boot camps. I was in the program from January to April 2020, so everyone was remote and I did not feel left out for being in a different state at all. Cody and Tim Davis were my main instructors and they were fantastic! Really kind and helpful, but at the same time, they provided realistic expectations as to what it's like to be a new developer. I thought the curriculum was well-curated and pretty easy to follow. After graduating, TJ and Cass were extremely supportive and always available, which was helpful for me in securing a job after the program. I read a review that mentioned racism towards Asian females - I just want to mention that in my personal experience, I did not feel any sort of racism towards me (and I am an Asian female). If you are a female, I highly encourage you to apply for a Women in Tech scholarship (if there is one available) because that can really bring down your tuition! One thing to keep in mind is that attending LearningFuze or (any other boot camp) does not guarantee that you will get a job after completion. I have seen many students graduate from the program and then lose motivation and stop coding permanently. The staff at LearningFuze can only do so much to help you and support you with your job search - you have to have the determination to continue practicing and be able to go through the interview process on your own. But if you are willing to take on the challenge of transitioning to a new career as a developer, LearningFuze is the best choice out there!

After researching 10+ bootcamps and much deliberation, I decided to apply for LearningFuze. After passing the technical assessment, I was accepted into the program. Please keep in mind: you will only get back what you put into the program. You'll be pushed and stretched beyond your limits. Get used to being uncomfortable and feeling lost, because that's the only constant you'll have during the 14 weeks of this program. It's not going to be easy, and you may doubt yourself throughout the whole program, but trust the process. The instructors have your best interests at heart and really want you to succeed. Make sure to ask as many questions as possible, study your flash cards, and really take the time to understand your JavaScript fundamentals. LearningFuze also has a great alumni and employer network, and they really go out of their way to help you prepare to find employment after graduating. TL;DR - You only get as much as you put into the program. They have great instructors and career services. Also, make sure to do some self studying of HTML/CSS/JavaScript prior to the program, so it's easier to pick up the concepts.
