Locked my keys in the car. We called Advantage to have someone come out. They said a technician would call me back. When he called, we set up a time to meet. That time came and passed, after 15 minutes, I tried to call the technican. He didn't return my call. I then called Advantage (dispatch) and they had the technician call me back. When he called he said that he would be over an hour late; a job he was on took longer than anticipated. Understandable, but he didn't even call me when he knew he would be late. Very poor customer service. Later Advantage called me back and said the technican had lied about having another job. I would avoid this company. read more

Yesterday, I called Advantage to have someone look at my daughter's sliding door lock. I thought they would come out sometime within a week, but Brandon Sidel immediately called back and he was at the house that afternoon. The lock had to be replaced, as I thought. He didn't have the exact same thing in his truck, so he went to a local shop, bought the correct replacement and keyed it to the keys everyone already had. He was polite, helpful, and the charge was reasonable for all he did. I would definitely call them in the future for any locksmith needs. They couldn't have been better! If there was a minus star review rating they'd have it. EXTREMELY dissatisfied with their service. I had lost my keys to my car in a public parking spot downtown Spokane. I was charged $179 for a key be made do that I could start the car and go home after freezing for almost four hours. He showed up with somebody who seemed to be an apprentice and programmed the key just fine and then bolted which I found a little odd. When programing the key they had somehow enabled the anti-theft device. I tried calling them three times and sent as many text messages without a single reply, still to this day. Won't return a single call yet they kept my money and forced me to drive home with ALL. of my lights flashing. The key doesn't even work in my drivers door so I can't lock my car either. Do not call advantage lock smith of Spokane. First off they take forever. Second they will give you a low quote over the phone then charge you more than double once the job is done. Don't believe me? Go read a few of their other reviews. I tried calling them 6 times now to get a refund because they charged me $100 more than I was quoted without telling me and they just give you an excuse and say someone will call you back but they never do. The lock smith himself even told me he would call the office and let them know he made a mistake so I would get my money back. Yes I was dumb enough to believe him. This business is a dismal failure when it comes to fulfilling what it claims to be, which is a Locksmith shop. Brandon said that the replacement fob to my car would be arriving in three days (Friday)and he would call me. I didn't hear from him so I called. He said it hadn't come in yet, but it would be there by Monday. He promised he would call. Monday came and went - he never called. I spent the rest of the week attempting to contact him and leaving messages for him (with a sorry excuse for an answering service). I never spoke with the man again. He would not return my calls or respond to my messages. Thank goodness I hadn't given him any money. Stay away from this business. read more

I called to schedule for someone to fix my key fob and cut some keys. Moses came to my house and "fixed" my key so it would unlock my car. When he was packing up to leave he asked for my phone number and tried asking me out. I felt very uncomfortable and said no. This was incredibly unprofessional. Later i went to my car to drive back to work and my car would not start. I called the main line back to ask them to send a DIFFERENT technician out because Moses made me uncomfortable. Moses called me multiple times after that and texted me. I called the main line back AGAIN and was hung up on. I called and asked for a manager, and they said they would "send a note". I still have yet to get in touch with someone to fix this problem. I will never contact this business again for services. read more
