I also had a credit on my account. I closed out my storage 4 days before the end of the month. I asked about a refund of prepaid money. They said they don't refund any prepaid money. I received a Move Out receipt showing they kept my credit plus a full months rental fee. Beware of Discount Storage business practices.

I've been using autopay at USAA for 20+ years and this is only the second business I've encountered that the payment didn't go smoothly. They claim the post office is losing the checks, but the first time they found it. The second time they charged me $37 to get access to my belongings to move out. I overlooked the dilapidated condition of the units because they were inexpensive and I needed something short term, but it is an unsecure dump.

After loading up our 26 foot moving truck for our move to Florida we discovered we did not have…read moreenough room on board. I needed a storage unit and I needed one fast! We had to be out of the house the next day, but where do I turn at 4 PM in the afternoon... A Storage Inn to the rescue!!! I called and talked to the on-site manager explaining the situation. He told me to come right in. He set me up with a great little unit, did all the paperwork and had me out the door in 20 minutes. Thank goodness for angels! This was on October 4, 2019, I wish I could remember the young man's name. I just called and talk to, what sounded like a different gentleman, to make sure we are all squared away with nothing due. He was very personable and polite. This company knows how to select outstanding employees. The unit and the grounds were clean and well-maintained. When my husband was there unloading the unit he noticed a woman driving around in a golf cart and she stopped to pick up a gum wrapper... Now that is attention to detail!! Thanks to your staff for making a difficult situation so much easier.

I haven't ever personally had a storage unit, but these are super nice! The units themselves are…read morelocated inside, so they're not as subjected to the elements. They're also temperature controlled. My friend says she pays about $130 per month for hers. It seems a bit pricey to me, but you know your things are going to be safe and guarded from mother nature. The location is convenient as well. They're right down the road from my apartment. If I ever decide I need to store some things, I'll be coming here first.

When I talked to her manager about it at the Troy location, he said she has been a continuous customer relations problem as she has called police on customers more than a hand full of times! He can't fire her because he can't find anyone to fill the POSITION? WORST customer service of ALL TIME! Great place, Nikki tho ruins the experience with a vengeance.
