He had just reopened his practice, so there were only a few Google reviews at the time--but they were all five stars. I then researched Jim's CPA background in California, where his reviews were also consistently excellent. After our first conversation, I felt immediately at ease. Jim explained that he had moved to Prescott to retire, but after finding retirement a bit too quiet, he decided to reopen his practice. Fortunately for us, we found him before he stopped taking new clients again. Our first two tax years working with Jim were straightforward, but the coming year will be far more complex.
