If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolute joke to be frank. I was assigned to Julie Walker in the PV location.... and well to start off, she called me Richard for the first half of my appt, my name is Maison.. Additionally, she had to use their AI chatbot service to ask questions about contributions, that she is supposedly an expert at? I had to reiterate 4 different times what I was there for (my taxes are slightly outside the norm, but nothing crazy), she told me that my last years taxes were never finished and filed so I needed to complete those before getting into my 2025 taxes, so I finish my taxes and complete them JUST TO FIND OUT MY 2024 TAXES WERE ALREADY FILED AND NOW I JUST FILED MY 2025 USING MY 2024 W-2, AND NOW WILL HAVE TO GET IT CORRECTED! Oh, and also they'll schedule you an appt for one date and time, and then you get a call on a random day saying you missed your appt! Worst business in PV. read more

I see very many negative reviews for this location and I'm not surprised. Especially if we're talking about Rick. I tried filing my taxes with a pro through the app and Rick swooped up my file as soon as it was up. I thought Rick must really want our business! Boy was I wrong. What Rick wanted was to say he was going to do the taxes, refuse to let someone else do them, and then message me at 10pm the night before the deadline saying he wasn't going to do them. I know that drunks and narcissists need jobs too but this office's services should come with a disclaimer. Something like "File with us and be treated like family. Not your family. Our family. Our family isn't caring and loving, prepared to make you feel safe and secure, no. Our family will make a lot of empty promises, gas light you into believing their gonna take care of you, and then strand you on the side of the road in the middle of the night with no bus fair." As if that wasn't bad enough, the manager of this location is even worse. She literally screamed at a little old lady that was trying to help us at another office this morning after Rick had dumped us by the roadside. The matriarch of this dumpster muppet family tried convincing everyone that we hadn't been abandoned and, if we had, we'd asked for it! Avoid these offices at all costs! Try anything else! Turbo tax, visiting a small locally owned and licensed tax office, just try filing yourself, or just rolling up copies of your tax paperwork attach them to the nearest pigeon and chuck it towards D.C. Couldn't possibly have a worse outcome than dealing with these people! read more

If I could leave no stars I would. This is by far the WORST BUSINESS I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN YAVAPAI COUNTY! The people who work there are RUDE, COMBATIVE AND UPROFESSIONAL. I am not going into detail I will just say that if you are used to good people doing a good job THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. I have been using this company for many years on and off, in multiple different states and I have never encountered anything like this before. I am actually speechless at the level of disrespect that the staff has for the consumer. I have been in the customer service/hospitality industry basically my entire life and I am surprised that they are even operational for the level of blatant disrespect that this office shows to anyone who does not fit their ideal for an Arizona resident. Well ,never again would i recommend or use this service. The three local H and R Block locations.Precott ,Precott Valley, and Chino. Shame on the owner and operater of these chain locations. You guys give HR Block a unbelievably worst feeling of lose and desperation. I made appiontmets on line and every single one was cancled by whom ever there sceduling manger is.. I completely understand rescheduleing clients due to emergency with Tax Accounts you contract with. I was canceled 10 with different appionment times,different Accountants and locations. Wow just Wow. I called Jackson Hewitt at Glasssford Walmart in Presscot Valley. I recieved teo appiontments back to back on same day. Use Jackson Hewitt instead.. I have all three locations ladies names who kept cancling my online appointment s. Today the Manger of Precott Valley then straight refused togive me an appionment to help me file an amendment on last years. Just call irs she told me. Its not there job.Huh? So what it is a tax accountants job then??It $98.00 and I understood this and was very willing to pay any price for some help. Shame on the women who called her self the manger of both. read more

Do not use H&R Block in Prescott Valley especially "Rick Chapin." Problem came up with our tax return and H&R Block has a sign when you walk right in noting, "100% satisfaction and will give advice with audits". What we got was the run around and Rick definitely has an anger problem and needs serious anger management classes. He told me and my husband to calm down while his nostrils were flaring, he was shaking, fists clenched and giving my husband the most evil-angry look. Wow, what customer service that was. read more

I've been here two years in a row now. It's a convenient location, and the price is right! Coming from a few years at a private CPA's office with a lot of personal attention and lavish office, it was hard to bite the bullet and walk in to a generic account office. How silly of me! These guys and gals are great! Super friendly and very attentive! They take great care of me, and my tax refunds were in my account even earlier than anticipated. My accountant has been great at going over everythning with a fine-tooth comb. I've never paid more than $100, and I will definitely keep coming back! read more

The person filing my taxes was very unprofessional saying how much my income was very loudly then she was confused about my IRA saying 'wait the government needs to know where this is? Omg that's a huge amount where is this honey?' Not making any sense and giving me an anxiety attack then I filed my own online and owe $600 less then she told me. The manager Val told me to file online then to save money and I appreciate me that telling me 'it's very easy and if you have any questions while you're doing it just call us we will help you answer those questions' the tax person that called me told me she couldn't answer any questions bc they don't have access to the online virtual part then her and Val would not take the time to try to answer questions over the phone. I would recommend filing online to save money and getting the program online where a tax professional can look at it. I won't return to this office. read more
