During my recent call to the Champions Gate pharmacy, I contacted your staff in good faith to request assistance with a refill. I clearly expressed my willingness to follow proper procedures and specifically asked that the pharmacy contact my physician if verification or clarification was needed. I also ensured my doctor had submitted the necessary information. Despite this, I was spoken to in a dismissive and unprofessional manner and was ultimately informed that my prescription would not be filled and that I was "banned." This statement was made without any clear explanation, documentation, or due process. As a patient, I understand that pharmacists have a responsibility to ensure prescriptions are appropriate and compliant. However, patients also have rights, including: * The right to be treated with professionalism, dignity, and respect * The right to clear communication regarding any refusal to fill a prescription * The right to have legitimate prescriptions evaluated in coordination with the prescribing physician * The right to not be arbitrarily denied service without explanation or proper documentation At no point was I aggressive, disrespectful, or noncompliant. My sole objective was to resolve the matter appropriately through your staff and my physician. Given the seriousness of being told I am "banned" and having a prescribed medication refused without explanation, I am formally requesting the following: * A written explanation detailing the reason for the refusal to fill my prescription * Clarification regarding the basis and authority for any claim that I have been "banned" * Confirmation of whether this action was documented in accordance with Walgreens policy * A review of the pharmacist's conduct during this interaction * Guidance on how I may obtain my prescribed medication without further disruption If this matter cannot be resolved promptly, I am prepared to escalate this concern to Walgreens corporate leadership and, if necessary, to the appropriate state regulatory bodies that oversee pharmacy practice and patient rights. Living in Celebration, we had heard of this pharmacy but had yet to stop by. We were greeted by the pharmacist on duty, Dr. Turner (one of the Turner brothers). We were given a welcome gift bag after registering our info to pick up the Rx, which was waiting for us less than an hour after it was called in. This welcome bag included a weekly pill container, a package of Kleenex, a small eyeglass repair kit, a toothbrush, nail clippers, chapstick, a pen and some informational fliers. This is a family owned pharmacy, and Dr. Turner told us they have been servicing the Disney area for 40 years, and have been in this celebration location since 2009. They were fully stocked with toilet paper, Clorox, cleaning supplies, and Lysol - which are increasingly hard to get items during these times of Covid. The store policy requires face masks to enter the store, but they also had some disposable masks for sale in the event you came without. The staff was friendly and helpful and we learned they are open 7 days a week, even on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving! They deliver meds to your house or nearby hotel and they are a compounding pharmacy as well. We will definitely be coming back to Turners and recommend this pharmacy to anyone visiting the parks or live nearby.

In fact, after this visit, we never returned during the rest of our stay in Orlando. Instead, we chose to shop at Publix, where the experience was far more pleasant. I know Publix is more expensive but I'd rather spend a little more and not fear for my life!
