It has been quite some time since I have reviewed Walmart and it has changed by leaps and bounds over the years. They went from no self-chuck out to self checkout and now Walmart Plus has self check. But I have to say now that we're back to having a regular cashier I feel like this is a much better setup and some people will definitely disagree but I miss the human touch. I miss getting to interact with a person at a register. Now out in the store is it frustrating sometimes to have the Walmart plus fillers running around and getting in the way Yes but at the same token it's Walmart and it is what it is everyone's got a job to do. I come here because my Walmart is clean and I can find what I need do things get moved around from time to time Yes but that's why I have my Walmart app so I can find what I need and get in and get out in a relatively quick time. Some people are going to say oh my gosh you gave it five stars why is that let me tell you it's my greeters and my cashiers. The greeters are fantastic they are always smiling and welcoming and you know the old adage if you give a smile you get a smile well you know what it is so true. Absolutely horrible! The store is a disaster. Terribly mismanaged. There were lines backed up into the merchandise from one side of the store to the other, even at 10pm at night! My husband waited in one of these terrible lines for 10+ minutes with our exhausted children, and when he was next the cashier closed the register without any warning. My husband had to go start over at the back of a new line. That is objectively unacceptable and never ever would happen at Publix, Target, or anywhere else I shop. Only Walmart where they treat you like you're trash. Absolutely insane and the lowest quality experience in customer service I've ever witnessed. It was infuriating to watch and unfortunately, since I was at Walmart I knew that there wasn't going to be anyone who would care. This wasn't a mistake or someone slipping through the cracks. If you thought your Walmart was the worst, come here first. You can't get in and you can't get out. TIP: Some places put up things with words and symbols on them (signs?) that help people. I had to make a two mile detour to get back to the main highway so I could backtrack two more miles to get to my hotel. Ironically, they're less than half a mile apart in real life. But the real capper was inside the store. I found a couple of things I wanted in the food department that were marked closeout and discounted, and when I took them to the cashier. They rang up at five times. They posted price. I offered to take them back and show them where it was posted but they said no she knows where she's going. So I stood there and waited and waited and waited. With hand signals and pictures on her phone she told me I was wrong and that I did not see what I actually had seen. I just said forget about it. I'm leaving. It's hard enough to navigate a store where nobody can understand you and they park their buggy sideways to block the entire aisle and then walk away from it sometimes it's a three car pileup. Came here for Easter candy, one of the large price signs fell on me while I was grabbing an item. I was surprised at how easily those signs could be knocked off. One of the self checkouts were vacant but had a pending transaction, the employee didn't care to fix it until I asked. Two employees yelled at us that we needed to leave and it was only 5 minutes after closing. I've never had this done to me in any store. We came here in search of dinosaur porridge. We'd never heard of the stuff until we arrived in Los Angeles when we decided to contact home to see if grandkids had any requests - and it was dinosaurs, dinosaur porridge, Japanese toys and sports clothing with the name of one Mr Le Bron James who at that point was as unknown to us as dinosaur porridge. The store was busy, and the staff were diligent on covid measures, masks and using sanitizer. No doubt the staff here are poorly paid, lack proper medical insurance and can't risk unpaid absence from work. We searched around but couldn't find the porridge even though we had a photograph of the lime green box. One of the good folks we met on NCL Bliss googled the stuff and we took a picture from his phone. We got an employee who didn't have a word of English, and through ridiculous gestures and the photo we followed him right to the place the porridge lay. We were looking for a big box and had walked by the small cartons a few times. As I walked through the store I was so grateful for Marks & Spencer. They are light years ahead of Walmart, particularly in terms of food quality, freshness and choices. I couldn't reconcile either the high cost for the produce against the often poor and average quality particularly breads, cakes, hams, cheeses. Anything of actual quality was outrageously expensive. The smell from the in-house Subway didn't help either as I find it a nauseous smell. We did other in-store shopping and the worst part of it was the check out queue - had the lady gone any slower she would have fallen asleep. Anyway alls well that ends well: 6 cartons of porridge acquired (turns out Publix was nearly $1.5 dearer for the same item). We got the Mr L B James garb in LA (number 23) but we found in Orlando 6 weeks later that this guy was now no 6. So we got no 6 there. We also got the Japanese ninja toys and a few dinosaurs too. Along the walk path the car pusher blocked me so I had to cross into car traffic. Then when I finally got to the checkout my item would not ring up. So I had to give it up. Pack some patience for this store! I'm from NYC; we don't have a Walmart, so whenever I'm around an area with one, I drop in. I was down at Disney and we needed to buy a birthday cake and I wanted some juices to keep in the room, but once I saw the line, I immediately wanted to retreat. I saw ten registers but I believe only one or two were open, it just was miserable. Ultimately, we got on the self check out line and that took about 25 minutes or so. It was almost midnight-- so I was confused about why the store was so packed and the lack of employees. However, one of my relatives has friends down there and told him, they purposely only had one or two lines open, so they can thwart shoplifters. By having so many few lines you can move traffic to one direction. Either way, I know he prices are low, but I lack the patience for stores like this. On the other hand, I had my first experience with those Patti Labelle pies; I know I'm years late, but they were great. Also, they were only .50 for a small one. I haven't been in this location in quite some time because there's several that are actually closer to me. There are some items I had been looking for and haven't been able to find recently. I did an extensive search online with Walmart which is really difficult because of the way their website is set up. I was able to locate some of the items at this location which was the closest one to me that had them. Since some of them were not available for delivery it just made sense to go in. We had appointments up the road from it so it was more convenient to stop in and do our shopping. I was able to find a couple of vitamin supplements in the pharmacy area and then we spent the rest of our time in grocery. One of the things I've been looking for is Jenni-o Turkey Italian sausage. They had two packages left on the shelf that were going out of date so I bought them both and brought them home and cook them immediately. I also found a few other items and I was happy to see that this location still has a bulk section with some of the larger packaging on certain foods. All in all it was a very good shopping experience even though they were extremely crowded and parking was a little difficult. I can't go to this location often but since they do carry items that are no longer available in a lot of the stores I will probably be stopping through on occasion as other stores in the area also do not carry several of the items I've looked for. read more

While on my annual mommy/daughter trip, I stopped by this location today to pick up three items. I purchased the goods and was stopped by a man named PAUL while I was exiting the store. The items purchased were not loose in my cart but bagged in brand new Walmart plastic bags. When Paul stopped me, I asked him if it was protocol to stop customers (with bagged items) as they are walking out of the store. He didn't answer. He proceeded to ask me for my receipt which I was able to retrieve in my text messages because prefer my receipts sent electronically versus hard copy. When I showed him the receipt he said okay then proceeded to stop me again to ask if he could count how many items I was exiting with. I'm writing this review because I know I was racially profiled. How do I know you ask, because there were 3 other customers who walked out during this process and NONE OF THEM HAD ITEMS IN BAGS. Super busy location being that it is located near Disney Springs. On the plus side, there are a lot of Mickey and Minnie Mouse items (not as much of other Disney characters though). I only wish I could do no stars. My wife is disabled and requires a scooter to shop. We have been to this location 3 FREAKING TIMES and none of the scooter's work. A shame that big money couldn't give a shit about disabled people. I will not shop at this Walmart or any other. I have only used this a few times before but I did not have a lot of time this weekend to grocery shop and thought I would place an order. So my total was 98.00 and I placed my order for pickup for the next day. 2 min later I get an email from Walmart that my order was canceled for suspicion of fraud. I called to find out what the issue was and of course I get a Customer service person in India that I could not really understand and has no idea what I'm talking about. I find out that my 98.00 will be refunded in 5-7 business days. So you take my money immediate, cancel my order and then take a week to give back. The lady says I can reorder tomorrow but it will take a pier 98.00 from my account. I think that is horrible service and as far as I'm concerned Walmart.com can shove it. Say what you will about Walmart, but more often than not, I find myself in need of something. And because Walmart has established itself as having low prices, people like myself have little choice but shop here. This is your average Walmart, offering a little bit of everything at mostly low prices. And of course, these stores seem to have a knack of being conveniently located in just about every neighborhood. Since our vacation condo was located in the vicinity, it was nice to be able to stop here as needed. When it comes to saving money, shopping here is a necessity because many of us have few choices when you are on a tight budget. This place turned out to be a nice surprise from it's spacious parking lot to the clean, organized and well stocked interior, including the grocery section. We were on a mission for several items and wanted to stock up on seltzer water for Joe. Apparently this type of water helps his leg cramps. Of all places, this Walmart happened to have large size bottles at cheap prices! Every other store we went to either didn't carry it or just had pricey small bottles. I am not a huge Walmart fan, but this Walmart outdid itself. Counting limiting people in the store. One exit, one entrance. Carts are handed out, sanitized and then you have wipes. Markers on the floor, they clean the check out belt. Employees were super nice, asked if I needed anything, can he help me find something. Clean store and a very very busy store. I arrived in Orlando very late at night, and the only "supermarket" that is open late at night is Walmart Supercenter. I don't generally consider Walmart to be a supermarket, but in a pinch, it will do. 1 star off: I was able to pick up some basic food items (apples, cookies, and bagels), but things do not look fresh. Most of the bakery items look like they have been hanging out since 2009. 1 star off: This Walmart is very crowded! I have no idea what all these people are doing at Walmart late at night, but they are. The parking lot is crowded. The aisles are crowded. The check-out lines are crowded. It is like Hunger Games here cuz they have official Disney products. Nothing here says Disney "World" but there are "Disney 2018" products. We got: 2 kid shirts, 1 aluminum water bottle, and 1 magnet, and every item was dated with 2018 and had the words "Disney" and "Florida". Everyone acts like they're fighting for the Last One thing so you have to be super patient. Not just for Disney stuff but for EVERYTHING in this store. It's Walmart - there is so much of everything. if u are going to disney!! this place is great for the location here in kissimmee. Churromania, subway, airbrush store, and disney apparel... everything uniquely here for your convenience. This isn't a typical for other walmart's i've gone to..but because the location is full of diverse folks from everywhere I am pleased to know that there are asian isles, indian, hispanic, european, caribbean and almost every necessity to accommodate people's food selections. I love the disney apparel here, it's cute to see a big area of mickey mouse and Disney stuffed toys, clothing.. like a mini disney store. This place is a lot more huger than our typical walmart's as well. I'll be back. I love that it is near the resort I am staying and near Old towne. read more

Despite all the terrible reviews about this place, I didn't thought it was that bad. I mean, it is a Walmart, the bar is not set very high. Plus, is right next to Disney and a whole lotta hotels, so I'll have to agree that its filled with crazy rude tourists and unattended children throwing havoc, but so is any other Walmart in this city. Other than that, they do have a lot of stuff most of it pretty cheap. I stayed for an extended period of time in a hotel nearby and came here for groceries on two occasions. The place was never very crowded, I did not have a hard time finding a good parking spot and check-out didn't take too long, even though there weren't many lanes open. Both cashiers were friendly enough. Before that, I have been to two other Walmarts in this area, and this one was definitely the "least worst".
