I am deaf. I have my sister with me for a reason I need to get interpreting. When Dr. Doctor ask me again, I want to explain to him, but he asks me again, and I do not finish describing him to him all that I want to explain to him. So I wait my blood test, test and make the ultrasound of my baby, but I am confused about the ultrasound about the organ. It has almost gotten to the point where I am pissed off and I want to ask them again. During the next four hours, I will make my pains worse. It feels like you aren't nice to me. The wait with doing long all day makes me worry and stressed because I am 15 weeks pregnant! I decided leave to hospital long time but I have worse pain my stomach! I cannot overstate the poor quality of care my family member received at Adventist Health Reedley. She arrived with clear stroke symptoms-- including altered mental status and slurred speech, among other symptoms. Although her CT and MRI were inconclusive, the care team should have treated the patient and her symptoms. Instead, multiple doctors failed to perform proper assessments or provide the care she urgently needed. The team typecast my family member as experiencing withdrawal symptoms--an assumption that was not only incorrect, but offensive and dangerous. This judgment overshadowed objective clinical signs and delayed appropriate care. What made this even more alarming is that her baseline is one of full independence--she's sharp and active. Her state of mind was a dramatic change from her norm, and we made that clear repeatedly, only to be dismissed. My family--3 of us healthcare professionals--stated over and over that she needed specialty care and testing that Adventist Reedley couldn't provide. We even arranged a transfer to a hospital in Bakersfield, but Reedley failed to send the necessary paperwork. While the team claimed the receiving hospital wasn't responding, our Bakersfield contact confirmed that Reedley's improper paperwork was the reason the transfer wasn't happening. We made the difficult decision to take my family member out of the Adventist Health Reedley ED, against medical advice, and drove her ourselves to Kaweah Health in Visalia. Thank God we did--she did have a stroke, confirmed by the amazing care team at Kaweah and finally received the proper, timely care she deserved. To the ED team at Reedley: DO BETTER. Listen to families. Treat the patient, take symptoms seriously. Recognize your limitations. Lives depend on it. To anyone considering this hospital: be cautious. While they may be able to handle basic cases or simple infections, this is not the place for anything complex. What we experienced was not just a medical oversight--it was a systemic failure. We were there for nearly two days and were denied appropriate care by multiple providers. A culture of safety starts from the top, and this hospital does not have that culture. The bottom line is this: they missed a stroke. That is an extremely serious failure--and mistakes like this cost lives. Thank God for Kaweah Health; and thank God we have the medical experience and background to be able to advocate for our loved ones. read more

I like Adventist health but yesterday I had an appointment for a CT scan. I got there and there was a gentleman that was coughing constantly and he had no mask. The waiting room was full of patients. Secondly I was sitting by the clinic area and all of a sudden I saw roaches coming out of nowhere. I'm sorry but I wouldn't want to be at a hospital or stay at a hospital where it is roach infested! I hope they handle that because if it made me feel uncomfortable it would make others feel the same. read more

went in for what turned out to be a MERSA inflection in my hand. There was quite a crowd in the waiting room, but was processed through in a reasonable time. From then on it was tests, waiting for more test, waiting for results Cat scan, waiting for results, all in all, a long day. Everyone was very professional. Thanks to Chris and Ray in the ER for taking the time to keep me posted on what was going on. They were great. It is always easier waiting when you know the the wheels, however slowly, are turning. If you're seeking health care from professionals, seek elsewhere. You'll be waiting in the waiting room until you die. If you don't have 6 hours to wait in an office all day, then they offer you virtual consultations and visits (for "your" convenience). However, they'll end up never calling you. Ever. Veronica from the front desk had great customer service, but unfortunately doesn't have the autonomy to create her own scheduling patterns. Therefore, doctors apparently ask her to schedule appointments every 15 minutes even though they decide to take 1-2 hours with each patient. A whole MD but can't manage scheduling. Make it make sense. read more

My best friend had to go to the hospital last night due to complications with a fibroid that she has. The nurse she got who's name is Michelle was very rude to her. Treated her very poorly. My bestie was hungry had a bad headache and asked for some crackers or something to put in her stomach since she hadn't ate for hours. The nurse told her no and proceeded to eat her pasta in front of my friend. They kept her there for nine hours and none of the dr.s in there could help her. She needed antibiotics but waited 9 hrs to give them to her. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone and I will never go the Reedley Hospital. I thought dr.s nurses were suppose to help their patients not treat them like shit. read more

There was medium size crowd in the waiting room. But the receptionist Maribelle was very polite and professional! I got to see the Dr Karimpour in triage and he got the ball rolling on the labs I needed stat. The nurses where amazing. read more

The ladies at the emergency labor who are working there and at the front were rude and act dumb when you have a question there very unprofessional and they need to have a better attitude towards the patients that come in here there always with a dumb face if they don't want to work here maybe they shouldn't be here working. Mrs. Lofquist is either tired, lazy, or lost, all of which she should be fired for. Her office staff are a nightmare, not to mention incompetent. After double checking the induction time as 5am, i show up, and oops, its really 5pm, soooo sorry. No, unacceptable. The random doubled up charges on my bill are also unacceptable. Now, the ONE and ONLY reason we stayed with this hospital was it is the only female "doctor" that took my insurance and would deliver. I also had the labor and delivery office ask me why Mrs. Lofquist, who was supposed to give me a shot and didnt, then sent me over to labor and delivery to have them give me the shot, didnt do it herself. Another time i was told, 2 and a half hours into my appointment that she had left the building for the day. I wasnt told that by anyone, so 2.5 hours wasted. A person with a high aversion to people touching them, espically males, has made this very well known, its on the chart. However, this lady who likes to play doctor has decided, after agreeing to deliver the baby, to not do it. Reason given: shes not on call. Well, we made a note, multiple times. Again, the only reason we stayed at this hospital, and you agreed. Youre an awful person Mrs. Lofquist. Id say i hope you rot, but it looks like you already are. The nurses and stuff are all pretty great though. They shouldnt have to apologize for their superiors. read more

The worst place to go for help is that the doctor doesn't work for the hospital. There are contractors who are independent workers. Please be aware of this scam they pull. It was very disappointing in the hospital staff and the so-called doctor. Emergency visits: they should be letting people know this ahead of time and be seeing a contract doctor. Negative 5 stars. Ok. Let me start this off by saying I was born in this town and had been here many times for treatment and to say my good-byes to family. Hadn't been here in a while...and I'll never come again. On Friday the 9th of April, 2021. I started to get sick so I was taken to the ER room. Very professional and the veteran huge nurse was awesome. He did my IV, drew blood and tended to me while we chatted. They found my blood pressure had dropped to normal readings gave me a liter of fluids and I was good. I left feeling great and under control. Then it got stupid and stars fell off like crazy. I had started to feel bad again and returned to the hospital and was met by a very unprofessional guard on the door. I was greeted by " how ya doing Boss ? " I asked for a wheel chair. " Sure Boss, no problem " " Hey Boss gonna put ya over hear. " That's not how you greet ANY stranger !! Especially one Ill. I was taken to a room and my Doctor was for lack of a better word. An a-hole. He questioned me on my meds. Pain ones mostly. When I told him I was taken a mild dose of percocets, I told them they were at home as they were as needed. The ocean air is great ( I live in San Diego ) but reels havoc on my bones, my arthritis and triggers my current nerve issues. He says very proud of his conclusions. You're having withdrawals. Thats what your problem is buddy !! What the crap !! Not one ounce of professional bed side manner. The staff would pop in and out and nobody bothered to close my door or my curtain. I can tell you what they had for lunch because they argued who was going to go get it. I also learned all about the psych patient they were trying to ship up north. They sat her in a chair in the corner and closed the door. They spoke thru the door as if she was an animal telling her to sit. Don't get up. There were at least 3 members of your staff. They sent me home with a prescription for Norcos. I guess they didn't understand that I couldn't refill it by law for 5 days. That's the law folks. I went back to where I was staying and woke to an even worse case. I went to a bigger hospital in Fresno and lo and behold...the cause was a sinus infection which created the anxiety which in turn caused my blood pressure. That and the inept staff of their ER and sarcastic treatment by the young rent a cop... You folks are pathetic. I have 2 stars because the check in girl was nice and professional. My son was recently born at this hospital and the labor and delivery staff was very nice and helpful. Dr.Dominguez is a very good dr and helpful. However if you plan on sharing this once in a lifetime event with your family I suggest you find another hospital. During labor they allow the father plus two which is perfectly normal. But after the birth they don't allow anyone new to come meet the child. Which means my wife and I had to choose one parent on either side to meet the baby. Which is ridiculous, who makes someone pick one parent over the other to share this special moment with. read more

Brought my daughter in to Adventist health Reedley emergency room for possible broken arm. When we were called to registration, staff was every rude to my wife made for a unpleasant experience. My wife &son both work for Adventist health, which is the only reason we drove her there, only to be meet with rudeness. Only reason getting 3 stars is my sons friend works in er and was very nice to my daughter in taking care of her arm. Very disappointed with the registration staff, do better. read more

My brother and I went in today we were seen in less than 30 minutes left in about 50 minutes to be discharged meds sent electronically ready for pick up in less that 2-3 hours , had our covid nasal test done and a note for work very patient, hospital nice also clean they also have the social distancing thank you to all of the health care workers on the clock while I was there and even when I am not & to the lady by the door when coming in your the biggest hero of all thank you. read more

When I got in a car accident I was 6 months pregnant and went straight to this hospital. They had me wait in the waiting room for a hour before checking on my baby and I. Even though I had bad cramping. I will never come here again, horrible service!!! read more

This is the best emergency room I have ever been in. They are quick and efficient and very safe. The staff is so incredible and sweet and I never felt more comfortable in a hospital before. This is for the ER and the birthing unit: This place was ready quick to help us when my pregnant wife was having chest and back pains. We got in and she had help within minutes. They were quick with helping my wife. When they did all the basic test and x-ray she was moved to the birthing unit they had. It was amazing how the nurses and doctors were so careful and caring helping my in distress wife. read more
