Nice little fishing pond out front and the kids and adults were all out there catching little blue gills. The park is only a 20 minute car ride to Presque Isle which is an awesome bike ride and there are lots of restaurants and pubs. There are lots of permanent residents but everyone was friendly. We took a day trip to Niagara Falls to do the Maid of the Mist- it's about two hours away. This is not a fancy park but I would highly recommend. We are a big rig hauling a trailer and it was easy in and out.

Detour is 6 miles in a roundabout way through sheep pastures, cow pastures, horse stables, random deer in fields, tandem horses / buggy driving on an unimproved road, lots of horse and cow "muffins", and a huge fallen branch of a tree that obstructed half the road. Once at the KOA, we were pleased w bathrooms (the flush factor was fabulous), tent sites, other amenities. One of the better KOAs on this trip.

As a koa VIP member I expected "yes" As that is the way I have been treated at koa across the country. I was surprised that a request to return the unopened plastic bagged wood bundle was refused. The answer surprised me even more. "Too much bother" I'll find another koa next time too much bother to come to this one where being a VIP member means nothing

Separately, before Bill called, Sue who's email is on the website made sure she returned my email and reached out to make sure I found a location. I'm rating them for their compassion to care about people . They wanted us to enjoy our family vacation while in their hometown.

They have a covered area where a large crowd could gather and have a cookout, gas grills supplied. Each site has a raised fire pit and nice picnic table. These would be premium sites anywhere else. Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

The bathroom and shower facilities are the cleanest I have ever seen. The staff is friendly and this RV park is very close to many attractions throughout the Amish Community. Tip: You can not place rugs on the grass- each site is paved so there really is not a need for one. Note: Restaurants, grocery stores and local attractions are not open on Sunday. Be sure you come prepared if arriving late Saturday or Sunday.
