We rented an RV for 3 days at woodside lake park which is such a beautiful picturesque location. Absolutely breathtaking Fall views and beautiful scenery. There's a small lake at the entrance where you can rent kayaks/boats. The service was excellent and they treated our requests very well. We enjoyed our stay there and extremely good service! On our stay in Cleveland, OH, Sara picked this spot just out of the city to camp. I'm sure glad she did! The people here are very friendly and informative. The park is right off of Frost Road which make it super easy to get to off the highway. Our site was level and had plenty of room for the RV, the trailer and room to park the Jeep. The things that are not up to snuff are the roads in the park and all of the personal stuff people have on their sites that clutter the place and make it look like a big yard sale! The worst is the water!! The water has a strong spell to it and it is very hard. Bathing takes some time because the soap doesn't foam up all that well. The roads. They need to be kept a lot smoother. Then there is the stuff many of the people have at their site. Not impressed. With these changes and some site lawn care, this place could be a 5 star in no time. read more

Wow! What a great campgrounds! We camp 40-50 days per year all over Ohio and PA with 3 young boys. The amenities are awesome! Great game room and play lake. Owners are salt-of-the-earth and run a clean, organized park. We'll be returning many weekends to come! read more

Great family park with a lake. Plenty of lake toys for the kids. Lake seemed very busy and popular while we were there. Still quiet and peaceful for those that wanted it. Great location and would recommend the park for your stay. read more

I am a seasonal and have been here for a little bit and have been here for a while. The staff are mostly very nice, and I have had only pleasant interactions with other campers and staff here. This campground is one of the only family based campgrounds in this area and I am a huge fan of it. 5 star. read more

Family campground, we did a 4 night stay and it was a little too rustic for us. Had a major problem getting there because trees were dragging on the roof of our Bus as we drove on the small county roads. Site was gravel and poorly maintained. They had to trim trees at the site so we could open our slides. Had a lot of rain and became a mud hole in some areas. Personally we would never return, but I can see how it is perfect for family camping. Staff was wonderful. read more

This park has potential however it's being held back by a few things. 1. Mostly permanent residents. The ones behind site 10 where we were liked to get drunk and party all night. Last I checked the time it was 12am and they were still out there being loud and obnoxious. They also had a very loud truck or motorcycle they liked to turn on a rev up every so often. As one does at 12am... you know for fun. 2. This is not a cheap campground. Over $40/night however they charge extra for WiFi. No thanks. At least there was good T-Mobile reception. 3. The water is nasty. I'm not even sure if this is potable water. I felt I needed to get a tetanus shot before taking a shower. Stunk big time of rusty nail. On the positive side, sites are gravel so you don't have to deal with a muddy mess and they are decent size, not huge but you can't shake your neighbors hand from the window either. Has a nice pond. read more

We were driving through on the way to West Virginia and called and asked if they had any openings. They had some spots available. We paid over the phone then when we got there someone led us to our spot. He even offered us a different spot that was more level. Very nice park not far off I-80. Clean bathrooms. There's a large pond there also. Price was reasonable. read more

Just stayed Memorial day weekend . Paid 64 a nite. Wi fi not included with this nor were the inflatables in the lake. Grass was not cut under tables or around anything that needed moved on sites. Their overflow area ( deer run) needs some improving. A lot of holes and dips on the sites that hold water. It did rain Friday a good bit but was nice the rest of the weekend. Their was still water laying in some areas of our site when we left Monday afternoon read more

Excellent place to camp and hang out for the weekend! My friends and I have been coming here every Fourth of July weekend for the past 3 years. The staff is friendly, and the fireworks are awesome too. Reasonably priced as well, with clean bathrooms and other amenities. read more

This place advertises as family oriented and the owners want you to think it is a welcoming place. The fact is they don't care about the folks that stay there. ( I too believed what they had on their website. ) We had a reservation for tonight. We ended up having car trouble and called to let them know that we would be late. They refused to allow us to check in after 9PM. I have honestly never heard of a campground not offering after hours check in. The woman who answered the phone was nice and she called the owners who refused to allow us to check in late. They offered their parking lot only and they would get to us at 9AM tomorrow. Its July its hot and I have two little girls not having AC is not an option in our A liner. Now I am sitting here listening to my little girls crying as they are disappointed. Do yourself a favor and stay at the KOA in Streetsboro. That is our usual place but they were full. I can see why this place has openings. And by the way KOA has after hours check in. After this experience I would not allow my kids to be around the owners of this establishment. read more

The staff is friendly and helpful, we are new to owning a Camping trailer and had some power issues at 9pm- two staff members came out to help troubleshoot and gave us a ton of tips and advice. Our kids were entertained all day, the Halloween in August trick or treating and hayrides were a ton of fun. The campground is clean and well maintained, my only tiny complaint would be that the site we had was small and right night to our neighbors- but everything else was perfect. read more

Called for a last minute camping trip away from the farm and said they had plenty of sites (everyone else in the area was full). We were welcomed by a great staff and a great campsite. Clean bath house and restrooms! Close to Nelson Ledges and other fun outings. All other campers were super courteous and welcoming. We will be back! read more

Wow, wow, wow! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! We drove in from Florida and as soon as we pulled in, we were greeted like family! Bob, the owner, escorted us to our site but then suggested we might be a better fit in another spot. Good idea, Bob! While backing in, he decided a tree limb needed cut to avoid damaging our A/C and we needed needed boards to level our back end out. His brother (I think brother) and 2 young employees went and got a small Bobcat to cut the tree limbs down and wood planks for the rig! Who else would do that?? We committed to a year here and come next year will probably extend. Don't pass this place up! read more

We stayed at this park for 3 days in September and it was really "meh." The sties are really on top of each other, with the sewage hookups for our neighbor right outside of our door. The park is practically filled with permanent residents, and many of them are in pretty ramshackle rigs. In fact, there was a derelict Class C parked next to us on the lawn (we were in site no. 1 so there should have be no one next to us at all) the whole time we were there. Many of the rigs have decks and porches, and some of them are falling apart. The place is not very clean. The bath room trash wasn't emptied the whole time we were there and the showers were pretty dirty. The water was very hard and tasted of iron and it actually stained the side of my rig where the connection leaked. There is a community room above of the bathrooms, but it wasn't open any of the days we were there. I would not stay there again. read more

Decent campground in this area. Sites are large, power is stable. We had 50 amp service. Park has a lake for swimming and catch & release fishing. Several playgrounds and a game room for the kids. Fire pits at each site. Didn't use the showers so no comment in these. We were in a area with mostly seasonal campers and it was pretty quiet. The interior roads are rock and gravel. Bumpy and uneven in places. Management and workers were nice and helpful. They do wagon rides on the weekends. No cable, but we were able to get about 25 channels on the antenna. Not great channels over the air though. Wifi is through a private provider and I thought they were expensive. Site was rock and gravel but pretty level. We even had a wooden patio attached to our site. We had a monthly rate i thought was good value, but I think their nightly rate us a bit high. Not s lot of camping options in this area of Ohio. One update to this review, the water has high iron content. I had a water softener and the iron fouled out the softener. Had to replace the resin in the softener. read more
