DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. This business is completely dishonest. They charged us $1,500 days after we returned the off-road vehicles with zero communication. No phone call, no explanation, and no proper invoice just a random charge to our card. This is not how a legitimate business operates. It feels like a scam charging customers after the fact without proof or even notifying them. Protect yourself: take pictures and videos of EVERYTHING before and after you use their vehicles, because clearly they will try to hold you responsible for pre-existing damage. This is a combined Adventure Rentals and Badlands review, so here goes- Adventure: 1. Staff was great. They knew their stuff, got us through the tons of paperwork fairly expeditiously, and were more informative about the park than the park was. Overall, they made us feel comfortable with the whole process. 2. Price was very reasonable. Really focus on the what the extra insurance is buying you- it was less than I thought, but I'd still recommend it. THEY TAKE THE DAMAGE VERY SERIOUSLY, and they were very upfront about that. 3. The vehicle itself (2 door razor) worked great and was everything we needed for a great day at the park. 4. We thought about gassing and washing the vehicle ourselves, but the uncertainty of the time it would have taken away from playing and being thorough enough with the cleaning made us decide to purchase their service. Badlands: 1. The park map was almost useless. Trail markers were not helpful at all. No "you are here" type signs to help you get oriented to the map. 2. Some paths (no way it was a trail) led to areas where there is no way to continue without bouncing off trees. We turned around to avoid 2. above. 3. Park was nearly empty when we were there, but if busy, it could really impact your fun. Overall, We are planning on doing this again and recommend it for anyone thinking about it! read more

Thanks to this phenomenal establishment, myself & my sweetie, along with 2 of our couple friends had a great adult weekend away! Any question or concern we had, they had an answer or a solution. We booked our side by side & villa in advance, so with time in between comes questions, not once did I feel like I was being a burden or asking too many questions. We will absolutely be back renting from Adventure Rentals & will forever refer all friends & family to them! The hospitality was unmatched! I recently rented from Adventure Rentals and would never do business with them again. They bait you into thinking you have insurance to cover any rental damage so you buy it for $50 for peace of mind just like most know how protection insurance works. They use a overwhelm and confuse you sign here, here strategy with approximately 10-15 areas to sign. They do not fully disclose the truth that it's not insurance to cover any damage but coverage if they "have to take the unit out of the rental cycle to other possible rentals". Without this so-called insurance you wld be charged $400 per day the rental unit is out of commission. I only know this after the rental processwas over and questions asked. The Badlands is a great off road park where you will have lots of fun but it is way more dangerous than originally thought with rock drop offs, trail holes, tire deep ruts and large trees inches from the width of the ATV you rented. 2 members of our group were charged over $1,700 combined for a scratch and plastic that split in 20 degree weather. These are normal wear and tear occurrences for the park conditions. Regardless of this, , honest and upfront business practices should always be a best practice to build the right customer experienvery. I wish I could rate it a O star or No star rating here but I can't. I'll never go back or do business with this company again. read more

*****SCAM*****This is the second time we rented a polaris . The first time at Blue hauler, kentucky was amazing and we brought the 4 vehicles back in great shape and got all our deposit back. This year we went to adventure rentals in attica indiana which was a total scam and rip off.? We brought the vehicles back in great shape with roof damage to one of them . They took the whole deposit for 2 of them and about over half for the other 2 . Claiming decal damage!! And mechanical issues . Basically they refurbished all vehicles using our credit card without any shame . And on top of that them charged us 600$ late fee for being late few minutes (it take s 10 minutes from the park to the store ) when we called to complain they told us to have our lawyer to contact them . I believe they assumed we are out of state and we won't come back anyway " lets rip them off " . Won't be using polaris adventures anymore. Took my dad to Bad Lands for his birthday and we rented from Adventure Rentals. Overall, we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and informative. They were quick to get us checked in and gave a thorough safety guide. Make sure you read all of the details about your rental before buying because you will need to buy helmets/goggles/fill up tank when you're done and wash is off before returning. They explain all of this in their instructions along with informing you once you arrive. There is a deposit fee that they will hold incase there are any major damages to the vehicle. As long as you follow the instructions and advice from the workers, you shouldn't have any issues. Bad lands can have some questionable paths so just use common sense when renting. We had a lot of fun and had no issues. Would definitely use them again. read more

Checked in quickly today and checked out quickly this afternoon. I think It was Dave who took care of us. We got our machine, headed out and covered as much area as we could of. Two areas of the Badlands were closed off that we could not get to. The machine was everything I expected and worked well. Plenty of power going up the hills with great suspension to soften up the bumps. The Staff there were all great, each person I had any interaction with was very accommodating. The availability of being able to shower before leaving is a great option. Better maps would be a big plus. Additional signage on routes would help too. We put the machine through it's paces but didn't abuse it. If I would have had my own machine I may have gone into some places I refused to go with a rental. Loved it, we had a great day and I'll recommend that place to anyone. read more

Beware. Attempted to have us pay for poorly maintained vehicle and claim it's our fault. While we were there 3 vehicles broke down, needing "rescue" including ours. We purchased all available insurance but that didn't cover anything. Driving conservatively the vehicle broke and they claimed we owed $1200 in repairs. Refused to show any records that vehicles are maintained to industry standards and requirements. We ended up winning the dispute with our cc of the repair cost, but out the $500 daily cost. Costly, disappointing and a waste of our vacation day. read more

The place is lots of fun to ride around. They have very diverse park. The rent is quite expensive, and it doesn't include the wash of the rental (2-6$), and you need to pay 5$ to use the shower. My friend flipped it just by doing turn on a flat surface, they didn't tell us that the Polaris is so easy to flip. Because we have rode the regular ATV 5 times, doing donuts never being able to flip them. Anyway that's fine we damage the machine we'll pay to be fixed. The really damage parts are rear fender and the plastic roof cover. Small metal piece under the plastic cover. There is few scratches on the corner of the metal roof, nothing on the flat surface.Everything before the roof seem reasonable. But the roof that is the most expensive part ($309.99), there is no reason to be changed. Also their saying that to unscrew and screw back 10 bolts it will take them 3 hours which is 100$ per hour. Our bill is $1128, their deductible I found out after we returned is $1500. So if you just flip it, may as well go around and smash it as many times as u can. You're paying over 1k anyway. read more

Never never rent from them. Even if you have a scratch on it you will pay out of your ass they will make u replace everything with a scratch and rental and deposit you pay goes toward nothing. They took us for over 1200 never give them any business again. It's a scam on rentals. read more

This place is just terrible!! I was not happy with my experience as all. initially, when I got there in the morning, that staff and everyone was super friendly and talked you through the whole rental and operation process of the vehicle you are renting (ATV). What they fail to mention is that everything on ATV, any minor imperfections, the renter will be charged for. For example, at the end of the day when I was returning my ATV, I power washed it and thank god someone told me to do so otherwise the place would have charged me 40 or 50 bucks for returning a non-washed ATV. Other than that, when you return it they do a thorough inspection of the vehicle and checked every little scratch and nicks on the vehicle and guess what they charged me for the repairs of these things. I argued with them about it, bc you are an off-road facility and there are trees and branches that could do it and even rocks and pebbles are flipping up from other vehicles in front of you. But they simply said this vehicle had brand new plastics, well if that was the case then why was one of the hooks for the storage compartment not locking down the right way and kept coming off. Funny thing is they don't do a thorough inspection of the vehicle when you rent them in the morning. Moral of the story, Is i lost my $500 deposit and had to pay extra for cover some of the repairs.
