Second visit to Lafayette Malibu Jacks. First one was decent, no complaints. Our second visit was terrible and considering the money we spent, I did not think we will be back. We spend over $400 for all day rides, game passes and food. 75 percent of the rides were unmanned and we had to search for employees to start them for us. We missed our laser tag appointment because it took 45 minutes for us to get our food of 8 burger sliders. I noticed the same employees taking food orders and also running rides, and delivering food. One cook for dozens of orders they were extremely behind. The employees were rude and did not understand their own job. The food menu stated our slider platter came with fries. We showed them on the menu where it said served with fries. They argued with us that they followed a sheet that did not say that. She did not understand the concept of serving what was sold on the menu to the customers. Terrible service, terrible attitudes and extremely slow service, especially for a weekend when you would think they would have more people. I believe this is a company/management issue not so much an employee one. They were under trained and under staffed. We will spend our money elsewhere. read more

I payed full price and the best rides where shut down. Me and my family went on the go carts and there were 2 people who were intoxicated and kept wrecking into people. read more

The IDEA of this place is cool. In reality, it is trash. The food is poor, which is to be expected. You don't go to a place like this for good food. You go for mediocre food and a lot of fun. The food was not bad, but wasn't phenomenal. It was mediocre as expected. The food was not the problem at all. It was as expected. On the the entertainment. Bad. Bad. So Bad. We paid for the access to all the rides and stuff, only to be told AFTER we paid, less than 1/2 the rides and activities were running. The arcade game stuff had only handful of working games. Everything was broken or rides without staff. This was a weekend where they had promotions for playing and eating for a holiday. They were busy. They didn't think to have staff there to run the rides. It is not kept up and it is not managed well at all! read more

Came here to bring the grandkids for spring break. Advertised spring break pass til 4/19. Once here they tell us half the attractions are not available until after 4 pm. For the price and the advertisement We fully expected everything to up and operational. Truly a disappointment!!!!! read more

We paid for a unlimited pass. And were quite disappointed, almost none of the rides were working and half said they would open soon and never did. We saw many employees wandering and none were opening rides. This place is understaffed and the restrooms are absolutely horrendous. For safety dont go to the bathrooms. This was expensive and disappointing. It smells bad aswell. read more

The kids had a blast, great for all ages. The place was clean and well-maintained. My only suggestion is to add more attendants for the rides, as some were closed with signs saying staff would return, but the rides never reopened. read more

I stopped by Malibu Jacks today (6/21/25) to inquire about the various passes. Jen not only gave me info about the passes, but she also gave me a tour and gave insight on all of the attractions. What a friendly and kind employee. I also appreciated the kindness of the gentleman at the Bounce Beach (I apologize for not getting his name). I am definitely buying a couple of summer passes because it is well worth it and I know my grandson and whoever he brings will enjoy it tremendously. Awesome place. Clean and plenty of attractions for the kids. Spent about 5 hours there with kids ages 9 and 5. Only issue was front end cashier messed up our chips on our their game cards and didnt offer to help. Told me thats all that we had to begin with. read more

Service was non-existent. Constantly trying to find employees to get a drink or assigned bowling lanes. Often other employees just standing around in other areas with only responses being, someone will be over in a minute. Interactions with all employees was unpleasant. read more

This is a great find to spend the day with the littles! Located about an hour from Indy, the drive was easy. We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday and the place was not busy at all. I felt like the cost of everything could have been better explained - they don't give an idea how much games and such might be. We ended up getting the all day pass, but disappointed that several rides were not running, yet no discount given nor heads up when we were debating the pass. The indoor go karts were great though the wait could get a little long as they don't run all the cars each time. The bumper cars weren't working, but incredibly small area and only 4 cars. The beach area was enjoyed by the kids. Mini golf was an excellent course. The arcade games were fun, but again, several not working. Food was really slow. We waited five minutes to order (no line) and it took 20 minutes to get overly greasy, overpriced chicken fingers and french fries - we ended up having to tell them our food was in the window ready for us. You might consider bringing your own food. Overall I would visit this place again, but skip the all day pass next time since we spent almost double what we could have spent. read more

This is the second time we've drove 2 hours to come here. The first time was ok. Not great but ok. There were a lot of rides closed with no one to operate them. I thought maybe it was a one timer bad day for the business. NOPE. the second time we came it was over Spring break. I expected it to be busy. It's a nice idea for indoor entertainment. Pros: It's indoors, accessible free parking, clean throughout the facility. The rides were sturdy and felt safe to ride. The roller coaster was fun for the 4th grade boys in our group. Go Carts were fun, but took a long time to get through the ride. See my first con to understand why the time was a factor. Cons: It's not cheap. Paid for 6, 90 minute tickets and added on the Arcade to do after the 90 minutes of attractions. Wasted so much of the 90 minutes standing in lines. No way to play putt putt on a time limit. The bumper cars shut down right after we got there...what our kids wanted to do. Laser tag is a crap shoot, especially if trying to get in on the 90 minute ticket. If you question the process, they will let you slide your card early for a time, even if your 90 minutes expire. When we purchased tickets was told restaurant would open at 3, which was perfect since our group had to leave by 4. Nope, restaurant wasn't open at 3. I've been to Malibu Jack's many times with my grandson. There are always a few things broken, but this last time that we went, which was on a Monday afternoon, and there were five or six things that he wanted to play that were inoperable. They were also a couple rides he wanted to ride, but there was no attendant there. There was a line at the prize counter of about 10 people, but no attendant was there either. 12/28/22 - Located in the long-abandoned Sears at Tippecanoe Mall (Lafayette, IN), this self-described indoor theme park is a welcome addition. We played mini golf, raced go karts, tried the two roller coasters and a few of the arcade games. There's also a bowling alley, a play place, concession stand and bumper cars, but we ran out of time. Overall, I'd say that it's perfect for ages 10-14. The go carts were our favorite. They cost eight dollars each to race and you get exactly 3 1/2 minutes of time. I recommend going now while everything is new and in working order. While waiting in line, we watched one already break down. While the roller coasters were dazzling with their fancy lights, they weren't exactly dizzying. But I think it's clever how they fit them inside an old Department store. Excellent use of space. Who knew Sears was so vast? Mini golf was basic fun, nothing extraordinary. Guessing it is also geared toward the younger crowd. That didn't keep us from losing our balls in the water feature. Oops. Arcade looked like a weird cross between Chuck E. Cheese and Vegas. The games we played were $.75 each. I would've like to see old timey air hockey and maybe some more hands-on games like whack-a-mole. Most games were electronic. Our favorite was the human size hungry hungry hippo. We took advantage of a holiday special so we got a few extra bucks. But if you go on a normal day and buy a $20 card, you get $22. That will get you one round of mini golf, and one round on the go carts. You can spend the rest at the arcade. If you're a pinching pennies, skip the roller coasters. There's an entire electronic ticket and points system at the arcade but as we all know, it cost way more in games than anything that you'll get back worth in prizes. Facility is new, clean and bright with security guards at each entrance. It's definitely a family atmosphere and currently not overrun by rowdy teenagers or ill behaved adults. I think I may have caught them on a bad day I will say the place has alot of stuff to do for the kids from my perspective they were severely understaffed I ordered food I never got it there wasn't anyone in the kitchen I waited over an hour nearby to hear for my food until I didn't even want it anymore and the employees were zipping around bouncing from one attraction to another to keep up with the small crowd that was there for the day I drove from the far east side of Indianapolis to bring my kids back because they had a good time the previous time they were here I'm not gonna say don't come here or that I won't come back but it's gonna be a while before I do come back my wife and I spent alot of money here I do believe my kids enjoyed themselves during our visit and the pizza was phenomenal I gotta give it to them read more

Incredible! We are from the Greater Seattle area and visiting our relatives in Indy. This place is amazing! The kids play area is secure, extremely safe and loads of fun for wee ones. There are so many excellent things to do for kids of all ages. It is literally like heaven for children. Very affordable, and a great place for kids to burn off their never ending energy! read more

It's a great indoor place for families. It is however very expensive. I would go in 5he morning before it gets to crazy.

Had a great time for my grandsons birthday party. Kids loved it. Will definitely do it again.
