If you are looking for the cheapest, flavor of the month gym this is not your place (a new one just opened up). If you want personal help achieving your goals, great option. If you want to work out by yourself, it is almost a private gym where you have access to everything all the time. Brian has been great for the 9 months I have been here. Personal trainer has exceeded expectations. I could not recommend a better place, they will schedule a free initial session and there is no high pressure sales pitch when I joined.

After talking with Tonya, one of the Studio Red Coaches, I gathered my courage and girded my big boy pants to give it a try. I wasn't feeling 100% when I came in (up late, dogs up early wanting to play on me), but when the 50 minutes were up, my body was tired in a good way, and my brain was ready for more. Tonya showed how to perform the exercises and gave modifications, and kept the class going, spending time with each of us. The three free classes a month seems to be a little used benefit that I will be taking advantage of more often.

They have multiple postings everywhere you look about being on camera, picking up your items, etc., but very little positive whatsoever. They can't keep staff for more than a few weeks, and often don't staff during their contacted hours. This is a problem for my kid who is a workout fiend, because she's not allowed to be there when staff aren't there. On top of that, staff lock the doors early so they can leave early. The gym is not remotely clean and frequently does not have paper towels or toilet paper. Temperature levels greatly vary, but the thermostat is set on 75 because the owner is cheap. When concerns were voiced, this rude and obnoxious "business man" blamed my wife. However, for a year one of their 4 ceiling fans never even functioned. If you like classes, don't come here. They have two a week, and they don't pay their instructors so they quit. There are several much cleaner and/or friendlier gyms nearby, so we gladly went elsewhere!

It's okay for a place close to home to get in a workout. The equipment is good, but the place is so crammed with equipment - or at least poorly arranged - that if you want to do some free weights, there is no place to stand without blocking the path to the bathroom and water fountains. No wireless - seriously? The TVs broadcast FM but none of cardio equipment has an FM receiver. I asked at least 6 staff member over several weeks about this but no one knows anything. Newtone Fitness makes it easy - just plug in your headphones into the receiver on your equipment and you've got audio. I wanted to use the Fitness on Demand system today, but it was stuck and I couldn't get the video to start. Even though there is supposed to be staff on duty until 7 pm - no one was there when I got there at 4:50 - so there was no one to help fix the problem. No one on the staff seems to know anything except the sales pitch to join. I've asked several questions and no one has an answer to anything I have asked. These are little things - but annoying. Newtone costs a little more, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The cost to join the league is more than most travel team fees. Additionally, each spectator is charged $10 to enter the facilities! Instruction was inconsistent at best. Practice took place one a week, if at all. At the beginning of the season, my son's team name and coach changed several times; he was 1/4 of the way through the season before he received a uniform. The schedule was horrendous! Saturday game times were not provided until Friday every week. Furthermore, it was not unusual for me to verify the game times with the coach on Friday afternoon, only to have them change before Saturday morning. Never before have I had a child in a sport and been unable to provide grandparents with a schedule of game times for the entire season. I am grateful that the facility is nearby, but but for the ability to plan my summer I'd almost rather drive to a place like Grand Park. At least for the inconvenience of driving there, I know I would have a schedule in advance so I could plan my weekend accordingly, and am rarely charged an entrance fee

The mower was a Cub Cudet zero-turn. It was 8 years old. They came and picked it up. First claimed the battery was bad; when I pointed out I had bought it there, it was good. They said so much wrong that they wanted me to buy a new one from them. I said no. They did several things to it in the tune of $900.00 brought back after about 2 and a half weeks. The same day they brought it back, it was sputtering, and the engine was not running correctly. I noted it was far worse after they fixed it. One of the things that they said was wrong was that gas was dirty. So they put on filters, etc., to fix that problem. I decided something must be wrong with the filter; they had put in the wrong filter, and there were no clips on the hoses holding it on. Ordered a new filter, which only took me 24 hours for the parts I needed. They claimed they were waiting for parts because they were having trouble fixing it. When they returned it, it was not returned with my key. I'm not sure where they found this one, but mine was marked; the one they gave me was hard to use, so I had to order another one. I have been in the store several times. If you are dealing with the repair department, you will always have to wait for 40 to 60 minutes. They never give you the same answer. They need someone who knows what's going on with a repair at any time. It takes many explanations forever to get anywhere with them. Oh, and by the way, I still have trouble with having to charge the mower every time I use it. No, I would not purchase or take any implement to be fixed. On a side note, while I was sitting there, an elderly lady asked about her mower. The salesperson told her hers was no good and was trying to sell her a new one. He then told her they would sell her old one for her. Hmm, if it was no good, why sell it to someone else? Very hard to find someone to work on the mowers, but I would definitely look elsewhere. They were not pleasant, nor was I.
