After completing it at 8:52 am, I saw my spot in line: #5, estimated visit time 10:06 am. One hour, fourteen minutes of waiting in an empty waiting room. They do have a screen showing your place in line and the online app gives you this, too. Receptionist was excellent. Nurse was good except she did some tests that seemed completely unrelated to Dr Rod had excellent interpersonal skills/bedside manner. I actually got seen 22 minutes earlier than the original projection. I drove a mile past NCH immediate care to get here because of its bad reviews and I am so glad I drove the extra mile! Exam rooms are very clean, look new too. Plenty of space and extra seats for parents that bring kids.

Unfortunately, our primary couldn't get him until after tryouts. So we decided to take him here. It was pretty easy to find an appointment and set him up for his physical. We did it via the CVS Pharmacy App. The confirmation emails provided me with instructions and what I needed to do prior to the visit. It also indicated that Sports Physicals were NOT eligible to be claimed on my insurance and that I would be charged. We were fine with it. The optional online pre check in process included things I can complete to make things quicker the day of. Filling it out online was easy. Which includes entering my card payment for the services AFTER the appointment. Checking in the day of was easy. We arrived 15 minutes prior. At exactly the time of our appointment, the medical staff opened the door and we started the appointment. She was very nice and was very professional. We had all our paperwork from the school filled out already and she was grateful for that. She loved how prepared we were. She explained everything to my son as she performed his physical exam. After the exam, she quickly entered the info and explained everything. She handed us the forms and took payment and gave me a receipt so I can claim it on FSA card. Overall, the experience was great! Started on time and finished quickly. This was my first experience with a CVS Minute Clinic and it exceeded my expectations.

I've…read moretaken my parents, my daughter and myself here multiple times yearly for the last several years as I'm local in buffalo grove. This morning I called and asked to speak to someone in urgent care - he asked my birthdate and confirmed my identity , then I asked to speak to a medical professional and or a nurse and he said if this is for you - we don't do this - you haven't been to see us for "you" since 2025 so "we don't allow you to speak to anyone for any medical questions" which is an outright lie - as I've done this for my parents myself and my daughter many times and the nurses were helpful when they weren't blocked by this extremely rude man that I was speaking to that refused to give me their hours and chose to argue with me and repeat that I was wrong "they would never speak to you on the phone - We Don't Do That Here" - kept lying and I had to raise my voice and say multiple times what their hours are - and finally he said we're open till 3 and hung up. The rudest worst experience here ever - my Doctor is named Mamou and I go to him with my daughter and I actually met him here at the urgent care as he occasionally does help out here. I will let him and his whole office know how rudely I was treated today and I will tell everyone I know in Buffalo Grove at this horrible experience at This Endeavor Health Urgent Care - and how they treat a regular customer who's ill with a question !!!

My visits are always quick and efficient. However, I did knock one star off because when I was taken back to get my vitals taken by the nurse, I think another nurse or cna was proctoring her and the nurse never told me. So it was pretty awkward for this nurse to take my temperature and my blood pressure and then there's someone in black scrubs behind her, basically going up and down on her tip toes to see what the nurse is documenting in my chart. Like a nice, brief introduction would have been nice but that never happened so yup, knocking a star down. Also, it was Just a really weird visual in general. Other than that though, everything else was smooth. I'll continue to come back to this location as long as my awesome doctor is here.

Was all explained kindly to me. When I got in, Dr Ziemann spent a lot of time with me to understand what is going on. She's down to earth, compassionate. The office has online access for test results, appointments, and a way to. contact my Dr. I had a question about my results and Dr Ziemann was quick to respond. The front office and nurses all very nice and helpful and kind. They can do own blood tests there so no need to go to 3rd party blood test company.

It was all very efficient, from being seen on time, to them having read the intake write-up, to the exam. Turns out it was a scratched cornea--diagnosis and recommended treatment with alternatives. All good. Just as you want. PS - That is not to say that trying to make an appointment for a specific concern other than Immediate Care is well setup. It is not. But that would be another review.

Some of the outside office waiting area furniture is a bit aged but still serviceable, I'd probably say they'll replace or refurbish the furniture in a year or so. The clinic rooms are extremely clean and very well maintained. The clinic rooms put the waiting area to shame. Intake nurses are polite and conversational. They're willing to take time to collect and explore medical history. The APN (care provider) is very efficient in their provision of care. They do not argue with a persons needs. They go above and beyond to make sure that the patient is the driving force in the room and the provider a validating and prescribing agent. Instead of the provider talking down to patients with chronic conditions the provider lets patients decide their care needs and aids the navigation. It's truly a collaborative care environment unlike some offices I've been in where providers are controlling and have the final say in everything. This is a prime go to clinic for most minor needs. That said it might not be a fit for more major needs. There's the large Des Plaines care center for more extensive needs such as the need for an on-site blood laboratory and point of care blood testing. For your basic sinus infections and pneumonias etc this office will do the job efficiently and quickly. For more involved rare organisms, you might want to consider the larger urgent care / outpatient center. Choose carefully based on the severity of your condition. Also, don't bother with instant quick care video visits. They'll just waste your time and have you go to urgent care. This clinic has been a go to for my healthcare for years and will remain that way.

I scheduled a sports physical for my son with a 2:10 PM appointment. By 2:50 PM, we were still waiting. I overheard the front desk tell another patient that they were running late and it would be a two-hour wait. Thinking I must have misunderstood, I went up to confirm. I was told that they "shouldn't really be called appointments" because they take walk-ins ahead of scheduled times and that delays can't be controlled since it's an urgent care. Why are you taking walk-ins ahead of scheduled "appointments"??? If that's the case, then why offer appointments at all? I left work early and took my son out of school to make this appointment--time that cost our family money and took away from his academics. To then be told we will be waiting another two hours at least is beyond frustrating. Now we're scrambling to find another option for his physical on short notice. They even suggested coming back at 8:00 PM, but wouldn't guarantee we would face the same two-hour wait again. When I asked why the delay wasn't communicated ahead of time by calling ahead of our scheduled time, I was told "they don't do that." When I asked why this wasn't shared with me at check-in, I didn't receive an answer, I was told 'it's urgent care'. When I requested a refund for the $60 sports physical, I was handed a folded piece of paper that turned out to be a receipt--not a refund. I had to go back in and ask again. They then voided the payment and provided updated documentation, but at this point I have little confidence it was handled properly and will be monitoring my account. The lack of communication, accountability, and respect for patients' time was extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, I ignored previous reviews because we had decent experiences in the past--but I won't make that mistake again. I hope you don't either!
