I actually got seen 22 minutes earlier than the original projection. I drove a mile past NCH immediate care to get here because of its bad reviews and I am so glad I drove the extra mile! This morning I called and asked to speak to someone in urgent care - he asked my birthdate and confirmed my identity , then I asked to speak to a medical professional and or a nurse and he said if this is for you - we don't do this - you haven't been to see us for "you" since 2025 so "we don't allow you to speak to anyone for any medical questions" which is an outright lie - as I've done this for my parents myself and my daughter many times and the nurses were helpful when they weren't blocked by this extremely rude man that I was speaking to that refused to give me their hours and chose to argue with me and repeat that I was wrong "they would never speak to you on the phone - We Don't Do That Here" - kept lying and I had to raise my voice and say multiple times what their hours are - and finally he said we're open till 3 and hung up. The rudest worst experience here ever - my Doctor is named Mamou and I go to him with my daughter and I actually met him here at the urgent care as he occasionally does help out here. Years passed I tried all sorts of anti-depressants, some helped a bit for a short period, some made it worse. I grew up in violence, drugs and verbal abuse, this led to PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. The treatment worked, yes it cost more but the results are worth it. I did use my credit card and wish the insurance would see this as a treatment just as much as the anti-depressants they easily cover. I can't speak for some as I seen Anna had a loved one who relapsed or didn't take the treatments seriously. As for me this treatment stopped me from drinking, self medicating and fixed the problem in which was causing me to binge or run from my problems in the first place. The experience for me was about learning, growing and turning a new leaf. If you're going here not to change or not look for solutions, I find that it will be hard for anything to truly help you. You must work on yourself as well as use Medical treatment if you feel you need extra help. This doesn't mean refuse Counseling, outreach programs or whatever may help you with your recovery, whatever that maybe. As for the staff, they are wonderful and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. The whole place gives you the feeling that they are there to help you, offered Counselors if needed and Dr Patel is very thorough with his patients, talks you through the whole process and what to expect etc. Being honest is key to the success of this treatment and I can find no better place to go to than Midwest Ketamine Center. We are planning on moving out of state and I don't think I will be able to change clinics because of trust, I most likely will fly in for my 3-4 month Boosters I hope this review helped. Ketamine has had a dramatic impact on my life and the early results show it's much more successful than anti-depressants being used. Whatever helps you on your path to self healing is a positive. My child was recently discharged from the NICU and requires oxygen support and G-tube feeding, so the inhaler medication is critical. Tina J. acknowledged the urgency, took down all the details, and assured us she would immediately contact the hospital pharmacy (Advocate Health, Park Ridge) to have the prescription transferred electronically. She stated the process would take about five minutes and that she would follow up once completed. None of that happened. There was no documentation, no communication to staff, and no follow-up. Calls to the pharmacy went unanswered. When I arrived the next day (04/10) expecting to pick up the medication, I was told nothing had been initiated. Because of this failure, I had to urgently find a 24-hour pharmacy to ensure my medically fragile infant would not go without essential medication over the weekend. This is not just poor customer service--this is a breakdown in basic pharmacy responsibility and accountability. When a pharmacist is clearly informed that a medication is critical for a vulnerable patient and commits to immediate action, failure to follow through puts patient health at risk. It is concerning to think about how many times this may have happened to others without being addressed. I hope CVS Health takes this seriously and implements stronger accountability measures to prevent situations like this from happening again.
