I'm so thankful my friend arm-twisted me to start training with Allen. He's absolutely the best. Here's why: he's super professional, courteous, considerate, consistent, and BRILLIANT when it comes to fitness and how to help you achieve the results you are after. His approach is different from anything I've experienced previously and has been very effective for me. He will NOT shame or intimidate you and he won't push you beyond what you can safely perform. I am learning so much from him. I've lost weight, inches and cellulite (Hallelujah!!) and I've gained muscle definition and overall fitness. Beyond that, I've also noticed personally: I feel better in my own skin and in my clothes than I've felt in years, improved focus and mental clarity at work, better able to manage stress and frustration, strength and endurance for daily tasks and activities, improvement in other areas of fitness - running and cycling, energy to show up and be present with my kids even after emotionally heavy workday, better sleep at night, and feel rested and ready for the day when I wake up. 6 months ago I decided to invest more in my personal health. After 3 Kids and turning 40 it was time to make a major lifestyle change. Allen has helped me shred almost 80lbs and reach a fitness level I didn't think was possible for me at the age of 40. I feel I'm prepared to tackle any physical adventure and I've achieved that with the help of Allen Elliott. I first started training with Allen about a year ago. Allen has been my trainer for approximately eighteen months. He has been professional and knowledgeable over the course of my training. Prior to starting with Allen, I exercised at home and at a commercial gym. However, I did not achieve the results that I desired. Upon meeting Allen and researching his training/fitness background, I felt comfortable that I could reach my goals. He assured me that even at my age and after two children, I could obtained results by following the customized workout and nutrition plans. During my time with Allen, I have lost over 50 pounds and decrease my body fat percentage tremendously. I now have a six pack! I am more physically fit and stronger than I have ever been. I have always struggled with weight. The year I graduated high school was the year I decided to change my lifestyle. I dropped from 220 to 180 on my own and maintained that weight for several years. Although I was proud to loose that weight I still hadn't meet my goal. I also started putting on a little more weight. That is when I decided to look for a trainer but I didn't want someone that would just train me in the gym. I wanted someone that would sit down and help me set up a plan to eat better. Allen has exceeded all my expectations. The first one we meet he sat down and got all the information I would want someone to ask if I were going to be lifting weights. He takes into account any injury you've had in the past and works around them. The work outs are great. By the end of them you don't feel like you worked super hard but the next day you definitely feel it! His meal plans are great and he gives you a wide variety of foods to choose from. I met Allen after finishing a 5K race. Ordinarily I would have brushed him off when he approached me but he was so personable. I shared my email address and Allen began sending me health and fitness information. I learned so much and I thought I knew a lot. Since I am starting a new health & fitness journey I felt like I needed the help of a personal trainer. I have had bad or not so good experiences with trainers in the past so I was very reluctant. I decided to give Allen a try. We've only worked together for a couple of weeks but I am impressed with his level of knowledge, how he educates me, how thorough he his and of course, the training. AE Fitness is amazing he really cares about his clients overall well being and asks all the questions other trainers I have had do not. I am over 60 and he challenges me to do exercise even when I am not at the gym. Before starting training with AE Fitness I was only doing exercise once in a while, but since starting with AE I have learned different types of exercises that make me want to do more.I feel great every time I leave our sessions energized and excited that I know I can meet my goal with his excellent expertise. I've been working out by myself or with friends for a while now and never thought I needed a trainer. However, after going to a few free sessions, I realized that there's more to being in shape than just working out. There's also meal plans and knowing exactly which workouts to do in order to target the areas that you want to improve. Allen has been so fun to work with.
