I needed an oil change on my Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and have had good experience here in the past with oil changes and A/C service, so I decided to come here again. I normally take this mini van to the local Dodge/Chrysler dealership, but they recently closed. Service here is usually good and they seem to be honest. They take walk-ins for oil changes and if you come early enough and are willing to leave your car, they usually can accommodate you for other services as well. The oils change the Pacifica was $99.48 out the door for full synthetic oil that my van requires. They advertise fluid top offs and tire pressure set to factory recommendation, but not sure if they check anything else because when I got my car back, there is no multi-point checks and no mention of how the fluid levels and tire pressures are or how my tires look (which is odd for a tire shop). I keep an eye on my fluids and check my tire pressure/treads regularly, so it's not a big deal to me, but people who rely on mechanics to tell them if there is a problem, it would be nice to inform them on any potential issues of if everything checks out. At least they don't appear to upsell any services which is a good thing, just perform the service asked that is asked for. read more

The manager said, "come on down" and within 20 min they had the tire back on the wheel and we were able to get back to our work. I was on my way to another tire shop for a tire replacement and while at the street light notice there was a no wait at Aegean. So happy I pulled in. Not only do they have great customer service they replaced my tire and fixed the air conditioning. It was my son's car and he'd been driving the last 2 summers in Vacaville with no AIR!!! He was being charged a small fortune elsewhere however Aegean was reasonable and it just needed freon, no leaks found. I was in an out of there! read more

My dad brought his truck in yesterday for a 100k mile service and new belts for $1198. When he picked his truck up he noticed that the oil change light wasn't reset, so he checked the filter and the oil and it had not been changed. When he went back they first insisted that it had been changed and then back peddled when my dad told them it still had the Speedy Oil filter in. They offered to do the oil change at that point, but my dad didn't want them to work on his truck again, so they gave him $40 cash back. He can see the belts are new, and the oil filter wasn't changed, but can't see everything else. Now, he's left questioning what other parts of the 100k service were actually completed. In the past, he's had good experiences here. We're not sure what changed, but they no longer seem to be a trustworthy business. read more

I stopped in since my car alerted me my tire pressure was low. I figured it was probably a nail in my tire. They checked out my car quickly, filled the tires with air, and drove it around the block. They let me know my tires were just low on air and I didn't need a patch. The guy even showed me how to turn off the alert if I ever filled them up myself in the future. The front desk guy was really nice and chatted with me while they checked out my car. They didn't charge for the check up or anything. I'll be coming back here next time I need new tires! read more

Aegean tire center charged 1,800.00 in advance to get rid of the loud squeaking in the rear of my car. I paid over the phone and my car was returned to me the same day within a few hours. But the sound was not gone. This went on for 4 more visits, when I was finally informed that my car is 10 years old as dry underneath. At this point I was hoping for a refund so I could take the car somewhere else. I should not have paid in advance. Also if the car was 10 years old and dry , then it was 10 years old and dry the first day I brought it in but they took my money anyway. It is an expensive lesson , the car sounds the same as when I brought it in. I think he oiled the car and never replaced the parts, because he made the coment that it was not as loud as before, not i fixed it. Best of luck to you all, I guess there is a sucker born everyday . Off to the breau of automotive repair to fight until i can get someone to listen to me. I have nothing but time. read more

Wow...surprised by the bad reviews. The only thing I can imagine is that when people are satisfied with a service, they don't feel the need to share. But when dissatisfied, you definitely want to vent. I am a 26 year old female, and I have been going to Aegean for several years now. I still bring my car here for routine oil changes and tire services, even though I now live in San Francisco. Their oil changes are some of the most competitively priced in town. They sold me four new tires about 2 years ago for much less than what anyone else was offering ($230 for 4 tires for a 2005 Jetta). Because I am a young-ish female, I always run EVERYTHING by my dad; just to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of by a slimy mechanic. He always agrees that I'm getting a good deal at Aegean. About two weeks ago, I brought my car in because I had one tire with a slow leak. They took a look, fixed the flat (found a nail), and I was out the door in 15 minutes, for only $15! The men working in the shop are good 'ol boys, and they are always friendly, polite, and hospitable. I believe that one of the mechanics, Robert, used to have his own shop over on Davis Street. Through the years, my dad loyally went to his shop for many a vehicle need. When the shop closed and we found out that Robert had moved along to Aegean, we happily followed him there. My last sanity check that this place is legit - my own dad comes in here for deals on tires for the family vehicles, as well as for his Fed Ex trucks. So based on my experience, I definitely recommend Aegean for basic car needs. If and when something does go wrong with my car, I would definitely consider bringing it here. I trust these guys more than I trust the dealership where I purchased my Volkswagen Jetta! read more

THis place is a train wreck....Run! First off all I wanted to do was put my Spare on my right front and make an extra tire I had the spare. The super douchy guy in the office was too pretty to touch tires. Made me remove my own spare which I gladly did after he quoted me 40.00 for the work. After I got under my truck and removed my own spare he tried to tell me the tire was "too old " and "by law" he couldn't switch them, and tried to sell me a new tire. T which I packed up my shit and got out of there. Went a mile down the road and they did the work for 30.00. AND helped me with my spare!! Feel free to ignore the comment from the owner below who seems to think that because there is no record of the transaction that it must have never happened. Lord the hubris. read more

I heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it. Went here to have my breaks done on my Honda and to my surprise a month later my breaks were making the same noise it made from before I got them done. I went back 3 times and each time they said nothing was wrong and didn't know why they were still making noise! Finally I went to Honda to have them look and they had to give me new brakes again!!!! The tires are a hard to find size (275/50R20) and they didn't have the cables in stock but Tom called 5 other places to find some place that had them in stock. I bought 4 tires for our Jeep Grand Cherokee here. The service and price were both very good. We use Agean for oil changes and tire rotation and have been pleased with the speed and quality of the work. I recommend to our daughter and son in law and they've had the same experience. I certainly would not send our daughter to a business I unsure of. Unfortunately our 3 sons are spread from coast to coast or they'd be customers also. Don't risk the low cost oil change location with inexperienced mechanics and low quality parts. Agean is a much better value in the long run. read more
