I noticed that recently, even with a scheduled appointment for oil change, I have to wait for about an hour after I arrive on time. Today I had an appointment for 10:00 am for an oil change and they asked me if I was waiting there. I said yes and they said it would be 2 1/2 hours because they are busy. We've been bringing all our cars here for oil changes and minor maintenance for years, but my most recent visit deserves a special shoutout. I had my Lincoln in for a routine oil change, and afterward, I noticed a small leak. I called and spoke with Guy (who also scheduled my appointment), and he told me to come in first thing in the morning so they could check it out. I did, and they went absolutely above and beyond. I was amazed! I also went ahead and scheduled my 100k-mile service. During the inspection, they noticed an issue with my antifreeze hose and were able to replace it. Not only did they handle everything quickly and professionally, but they even drove my car back to my house so I didn't have to find a ride or use their courtesy shuttle. Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional--no mansplaining, no pushy upsells--just honest service I can trust. I'm so impressed with their customer care and communication. Booked an appointment and showed up at 8:30 a.m. -- only to be told no appointment was noted. My car needed an alignment, and they said it would be ready by the end of the day. Then they called saying it needed ball joints, and later said the parts were stuck in traffic, so it had to stay overnight. The next day -- no call. I called at 3 p.m. and was told my service advisor was "in a meeting." I asked for a call back or voicemail since I was at work -- never got one. The following day, I called again and was told he was "out to lunch" and still hadn't done my paperwork. Seriously? You've had my car for two and a half days and the paperwork isn't even done? When I finally picked up my car, there was no discount, no apology, no acknowledgment, and to top it off, they charged me over $600 for just an alignment and two ball joints -- way overpriced! Arrived for an oil change appointment after getting a phone quote at $174.63. Like others that have reported I got the paperwork and it was $244.00? I questioned the "advisor" and he said it was for the "works" package. I told him I just wanted the oil change and he said that was the price $244.00 for the oil change? I mentioned that the works package was advertised on the website for $199.99 and I was quoted $174.63 for just an oil change. I just said nevermind, and left. We brought our 2018 explorer in for service which included oil/ transmission service. After service was completed our vehicle started leaking fluid on our driveway. I called and scheduled to bring the vehicle back in. Our car sat for 3 days and never once received a phone call update as to what the status of our car was. When I showed up to pick up our car they claimed nothing they did is causing the problem, which is awfully funny considering the vehicle has never had any leaks prior to their service. This shop is a scam. We just moved to this area. Took my 2022 Dodge Power Wagon for oil change which takes 7 qt of 0W40 Full Synthetic. No tire rotation, just oil. They presented an estimate of $135. An hour later when completed they present a bill for $284. I disputed the charges. How can they be that far off from their estimate? 1/2 hour later they reduced to $209. I still got ripped off. Strike 1: I used to really love this place and recommended it frequently. In the last year, this place has gone downhill. About a year ago I needed an oil change and loved the full service that came with it (this is my normal service when I go there). I made an appt and showed up about 20 min early and planned to camp out with some crochet and my phone. I don't often get quiet time alone so I didn't mind that 30 min past my appt, my car was still in the parking lot. They were busy and I was patient. About an hour goes by and my car is still there. I figured I'd ask, just to get an idea of when I'd be nearly done. Or at least be started. The guy at the front desk said, oh yeah.. the staff had a mandatory training they had to do so they'll be done in about 20 minutes and your car will be next. Really? I was sitting here for the last 2 hours for an oil change and you couldn't have given me a heads up? Definitely annoyed, but ok fine. ANOTHER TWO HOURS LATER and most of my day wasted.. my car was finally done. No sorry, no compensation for time wasted... nothing. My previous experience with them was great so maybe this was a fluke. Strike 2: I called recently before a long road trip and asked if they'd top off my fluids since I wasn't quite due for a service yet. They said they would, but at the full price of a service. I was still about 2000 miles before due so it wasn't worth it to me, but was surprised since they had given top off for free before. Ok, fine. I don't expect handouts but was surprised by the change. Strike 3: I made an appt today for an oil change. They only had 1:30p available and it was my only day during the week I could go. So I made the appt. Again, grabbed my stuff to sit for a minute, and showed up about 10 minutes early. About 1:50 I noticed my car hadn't moved from the parking lot. Deja vu. I told myself be patient, it's fine. They were busy. I can wait for a bit. Around 2:30 my car still hadn't moved. Still. The workers were talking about how some of their guys (mechanics) were needing to go to lunch on time so they were behind. I get it- I do. SO COMMUNICATE THAT. If they called me before and said they were running behind, I'd go in with that understanding. Or even if they told me at the register when I checked in that they were behind, ok. Then I can make my decision to stay or not. I asked for my keys at 2:30 because I knew even if they were taking my car next, it would be about 30-45 min for the actual service and I wasn't interested in spending another day there. I agree with the comment I read before that this shop is a scam. I went there just for them to verify why the coolant reservoir easily dried up even for just a day after replenishing the fluid. I was told by the receptionist staff that it would take two hours before they could work on it because the engine was still hot. I was told to leave the car and come back later because it would take 4 hours to complete the job order since there is two-hour waiting for cooling off the engine and I supposed two hours to determine the problem (I came at 10:00 am and therefore would take up to 2:00pm to finish the job assuming they would only work on it non-stop). I said I was willing to wait even for a long time, since I didn't have a ride and I was really worried about the leak. Then, after an hour or about 11:00 am or an hour after I arrived (I thought it would take 2 hours to cool the engine as they claimed?), they took a look at the car for 10 minutes and the customer service went back to me and said there was no leak. When I asked them how to explain the fast leaks, they could not explain it and said maybe something happening inside the engine. And I was surprised because I have to pay $185 for that info and hurried and incomplete inspection. There was not even an advise on what to do. Anyway, I was told that the service of $185 was for a comprehensive inspection and it didn't matter how long the work took, whether minutes or hours. (Honestly, I would not have agreed to it but I did not notice the estimate). That $185 or 20% of my monthly security benefit was a big chunk to a senior citizen relying on meager social security benefit. I was looking at the technician from the glass panel where one could see what is happening in the bay. He only inspected one tire for pressure and reported he inspected the 4 wheels. And then took the car out after working on it for less than 10 minutes. As he was going out the bay, he saw an issue and I approached him and told him that I knew about the problem and for him to ignore it because I am working on it. He proceeded to park the car outside and submitted the finished report to the administrative staff. The technician was inefficient and liked short-cut for a comprehensive inspection worth the $185. After a while, I saw the technician bringing back in the car. I asked the receptionist why and he told me they were still going to work on it again. I suspected that the administrative staff upon seeing the paper submitted perhaps noticed that the service was incomplete, and ordered the technician to take it back inside the shop to check on it once more like fluids, etc. which were parts of a comprehensive inspection. I saw him looking at the engine compartment and put water and then returned the car to the parking area in less than 5 minutes. The overall service, was all over for 20 minutes, which included a "comprehensive examination" and determining problem of the coolant leak. It was such a waste of money because the $185 charged to me was not worth it! I went there principally about the leaking coolant, not a comprehensive examination of the car, because I was worried it might overheat the engine and caused extensive damage to the engine. I never got an answer on the main issue but only a reply that there was no leak. No clear explanation why the fast coolant leak. No advice at all. What a scam! I don't recommend this shop for inefficiency and dishonesty. I think it's time to report this shop to the Better Business Bureau. When I looked at the chart, it got almost 100% one-star rating that I wondered why it is still around despite the poor rating. I hope yelp could forward this comment to Quick Lane Auto Repair Shop at Vacaville. Note: on May 7, 2024 a customer from Vacaville commented that he went to this shop to inspect if there is a leak because his tire light came on. They found no issue and charged him nothing. The case is similar to mine (this time coolant leak and found nothing) and I was charged $185. read more

Seeing technicians standing around in the garage, I inquired as to the status of my oil change. Guy at the desk said "they just finishing lunch" and he'd go have them rush my service. An hour later, 3pm, my car is still up on the rack but no technician around. Finally got out of there at 3:15pm. Two and a half hours for an oil change with a 1pm appointment. This is the kind of place that prays on people that don't know. For example your grandmother goes in and they put all these line items in and she pays them the additional $677 and gets scammed out of her hard earned money. After relying on Quick Lane with other cars, the poor quality of service, pre and post delivery i will never trust them again. Make sure all minds are clear and expectations clearly defined. I took my car in specifying front brakes as my front tire was vibrating and wobbling. The service was specified however they indicated to me that the issue was my rear brakes and new tires were recommended so I agreed and bought 2 new tires. When notified the car was ready I specifically as if they test drove the car which the service writer affirmed. Upon driving off the front wheels are still wobbling and rotors need replacement. $835.00 and they are demanding me to pay for parts to obtain the service which was requested initially. Cordially and friendly service does not substantiate poorly delivered service. If kindness is all you expect that's all you will receive. We were hoping to avoid giving a local business a poor rating but after waiting over a month for them to contact us, this after stopping by to show the manager the problem and filling out the after visit questionnaire indicating we had a problem. A year ago we got an oil change, filter and rotation at this business. We took our car home and the next morning there was oil all over the garage floor and bottom of our motor. I checked the oil level and then drove back to Quick Lane. They said the o ring on the filter was twisted and again replaced the filter and cleaned up the car. All was good. About 1 month ago we again went to Quick Lane for the same service. The next morning we needed to drive to Martinez. My wife who drives this car most of the time said the motor sounded different when we accelerated. The next day I opened the hood to look and found the air cleaner cover had been removed and not re attached. See picture. I expected more then an apology and was assured I would get a call back. For the past couple of months there has been a strange noise in the front of my Chrysler. I suspected what the problem might be, and today I took it in to this shop for that second opinion. After speaking with Freddie he suggested what I suspected. A bit later they did a thorough inspection, then two of his mechanics took it for a test drive and returned with the same conclusion. Yup, my struts were shot. And I just had them replaced by another shop less then 2 years ago. I want to thank Freddie and his crew for taking the time today to look at my car. This is only a personnel review for Megan, the person working the front desk on 7/15/2020. Everyone else was friendly and helpful; Megan made us wait while she did paper work at her desk, didn't acknowledge us for a full minute or so, which when you're standing there waiting to be helped is too long. She argued with the man we spoke to over the phone in front of us, saying "No we don't do that" in regards to our tire repair. She also said, in front of us, "I bet you a sandwich we don't have that tire" and "if I don't get a break soon I'm gonna explode". How unprofessional. My Daughter brought her car to this shop with a check engine light and a code thrown for a emissions system issue. They told her it was a simple issue and then it became over a 1K issue, with the mechanic being so kind as to offer to purchase her low mileage car for less than the estimate for the work. She then asked for her car back and discovered that she mysteriously couldn't put fuel in it. She then took it to Import Masters, a highly reputable shop, and was told that somehow, miraculously or mysteriously, a bolt had been inserted in the vent hose to the recently replaced filter. I'll let your decide who was the honest shop. Quick Lane now ignores her calls. Next stop, the BAR. To their great credit, the folks at Import Masters charged her nothing to repair what was done at Quick Lick... I would give them a -0 if I could. read more

I have been taking my car to this location for two years. I first got this car and then went here to get a diagnostic for a bunch of shit that the previous owner didn't fix. For the last year and a half I have had a mysterious leak, which multiple people told me was the oil. I did not find out until 2-3 weeks ago that I've been having a coolant hose/reservoir problem (they couldn't even tell me that). I went in to get my reservoir or hose repaired, not knowing exactly what I was dealing with. I paid $195 for a diagnostic, $75 for coolant, and whatever fucking else they wanted me to pay $346 for. Mind you they charge me $195 to not even look at the car, and not be responsive for two days. I called everyone at that shop multiple times for two days, barely could get a time on when I was getting my car back. Finally got it back, went to go check on my coolant because my check engine light turned on three days after my repair. My hood could automatically stand up on its own, and since receiving it back from the shop was now broken. My coolant was also nowhere to be found, however they did replace the reservoir. I called as soon I possibly could and spoke to Bryan and Zach. which to my surprise told me that I had only requested the reservoir to be fixed not anything else. Which was absolutely incorrect, and is the reason I paid for a "diagnostic". When I continue to tell Zack my issue, he continued to correct me that I had only requested for them to fix that one issue. Which was wrong because I asked if there was any more problems to him and another worker. I didn't spoke to Bryan hoping that I would find another solution or better customer service, and I was so sorely mistaken. Bryan talk to me and pretty much said that I was dead set on it being the reservoir and that's why they fixed it. to that my mother then called the location, and continue to talk to Zach further which he continue to be condescenting to my former army mechanic mother.So there was no reason for me to come to a mechanic because apparently I have the expertise of a master mechanic and it's the absolute reason of why I brought it in instead of fixing it myself at home. this place is an absolute joke, it took them two years to not even find the problem but two teenagers to figure it out that my hose was damaged instead. Next time you wanna waste all your goddamn time, money, and your sanity and to be talked down to and disrespectfully to no prevail go here because you will have the worst experience of your fucking life. I went it for a simple oil change. I explained I had a diesel truck and was quoted at $80. After agreeing to a price I got a phone call stating that the price for a diesel was $170. I said no thank you I will take it somewhere else. The service guy said he would get the price down and make it reasonable. He quoted me $100. When I returned to pick up my truck a quote of $100 didn't mean anything and they ended up charging me $150. They didn't apologize, and didn't make it right. I will never go back to the store again. Took my 95 mustang in for water pump replacement. Took them five days to replace the water pump cause they had to order an aftermarket water pump. When i finally received my car back, i took it to another company to have the oil changed. The other company said they couldnt service my car because the lower hose had been replaced with duct tape, and was leaking....from vacaville to fairfield....the radiator fluid was low.....took the car back immediately and was informed the lower hose clamp had not been placed properly and they would fix it.....waited two and one half hours in the lobby.....the front desk person came and told me cheerily......its fixed......wont be going back.....and recommend others to stay away.....i dont normally air my grievances this way....poor customer consideration read more
