Overpriced !! I should have written about this. It now is the time... I'm years loyal customer.... My German cars frequent this place and my model Y Tesla as well. This month I brought my Tesla for an alignment and rotation. Mind you Tesla ask me $ 59.00 for the rotation and a free alignment. As I wanted to keep the local stores strong I bought it here to my favorite place. And this is why the 1 star is not even worth it. Not only they diagnosed my TESLA for $67 although I told them what was needed, they had the gall to tell me all four tires will have to be replaced in a month while they performed the alignment anyway. You think!!! Why not ask me if I would prefer to buy all four tires then do the alignment and the rotation altogether. But nooooo. The bill altogether if I've done the alignment and rotation is $200.00 versus going toTesla for rotation is only $59 with free alignment . So I paid these people close $167. 00 for nothing . My Tesla Y has no rotation but an alignment on tires that needs to be replaced now. What a waste of my time and money. I will NEVER trust this place to be honest enough to tell me the truth before a service. It's common courtesy to ask the customer whether or not they want to proceed even though I paid in advance. So the motto of this company is pay ahead and still do the job even if problems occur. Why bother reimbursing when they already have your money . Customers BEWARE!! I personally will flag every family member I've recommended ,theirs and my friends to never step foot in this establishment. I'm enraged to the fact that they so nonchalantly use me in this manner. I will not be buying anything from them and my teens new German cars will not be going here as well. This establishment doesn't deserve the 1 star. Falling grade is more like it. read more

I've been here twice now in the past year and the service is excellent! First time I got a flat on the freeway. Had my car towed here and they got me a new tire and back to work before lunch (that includes the time waiting for the tow truck). Second time was when my wife needed new tires. She was taking my daughter up snowboarding and her front tires were bald. They were able to get me in on a Saturday, new tires and alignment in just a couple of hours, and she was able to safely drive up that night. I will go here first anytime I need my cars looked at. The good: I called Saturday morning to see about getting an alignment on my car and luckily they had an appointment available the same day. The person who answered the phone was professional and helpful. That is all I can say that went well. The bad: Mechanic drove my car onto the alignment rack and corrected the tire pressure on all 4 tires. He performed the alignment and took the car for a test drive. Came back, I paid and drove off. I immediately knew that something felt off. I thought it was the road, but once I got on the freeway I could tell something wasn't right. I called and asked if I could bring the car back to have it checked which they agreed. A different mechanic now performed the alignment check and found that the toe was out, which would have destroyed my tires. It was corrected (Thank you to the second mechanic) and I went on my way. Since then, everything seems to be fine, or so I thought. Yesterday as I was checking the air in the tires, I noticed that only two of my valve stem caps were put back on. The two that were put back one were mismatched and not that correct ones for my vehicle. While this isn't a huge deal, it shows that lack of pride in the work. If I bring another vehicle to Fairfield Tire, I will remove the valve stem caps prior to the mechanic taking into the shop. read more

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. We've been bringing our cars here for about a year without issues--until recently, when both vehicles came back leaking oil. This shop took no responsibility whatsoever for the damage and flat-out refused to issue a refund for their shoddy, careless work. It took multiple calls just to get anyone to call me back, and when they finally did, they acted confused as to why I wouldn't trust them to "fix" the problem they created. Why on earth would I bring my car back to a place that's already proven they can't do competent work? Their negligence could have caused serious, irreparable damage to my car. The team at Fairfield Tire is top notch! I was truly in a bind - I headed out on an early morning road trip, making good time to my destination, only to get a screw in my tire on the freeway. I exited immediately, but because it was so early, no tire shops were open. A quick search landed me at Fairfield Tire. I slowly drove over and waited a few minutes for the shop to open. I'll give you my life story. Here it goes: - I went to Fairfield Costco first, waited until they opened at 10 then found out that they don't take walk ins and they are booked for 2 weeks. I mean, I could wait for hours and hope someone doesn't show up so that they can fit me in. I'm way too busy for that, but their price was like $850 for all 4 Michelin defender tires (best price). Also, they don't have my tires in stock and would have to wait until tomorrow at the earliest - I called another tire place (10:40am) and they would need to order my tires which get delivered around 2 or 3pm. Price was like $1130. - I called Fairfield tire (10:45am) and told them I'm rushing. They quoted me just under $1200 with a balance ($89). They said they'd go fetch the tires themselves from the warehouse so they'd be ready for me ASAP (that beats the competition). I paid over the phone to get the ball rolling. - when I arrived, they said things are progressing and they just asked for my keys (read: they were ready for me). They gave me their WiFi and set me up on their desk where I could work. - It's not the cheapest place but I got the premium Michelin Defender tires I was looking for, they fit my busy schedule, and the crew are kind, professional, and courteous. - I love that this place is stuck in the 80's! It's my new favorite place just to hang out and take in the 80's vibe. Brings back childhood memories for sure. - they should "own it" and go all in! Put up posters of Rambo, GI Joe, transformers, my little pony, ET, the goodies, sell pop rocks, put a Nintendo in the corner... best place ever!! BONUS GAME! I have been coming to Fairfield Tire for 5 or 6 years now. In that time, I've had all my oil changes and realignments done here and bought 8 tires. I do my best to be a good customer and work with staff. Today, however, I walked away feeling like I was humiliated by Nick and a mechanic (lanky guy with bushy hair). I got my oil changed here on Monday (8/11/25) and noticed growing oil spots at both my parking spot at work and home. I went back in today and they said it was a leaky oil filter. I have to take their word on it. On my drive home today, I noticed my AC wasn't working. I really only tested the air with my hands and made the ADMITTEDLY stupid oversight of not checking to see if the AC button was pushed (it wasn't). About 15 minutes later, I pulled back up to FF Tire and asked if maybe something was not fully screwed on that may have affected the AC (IDK, I'm not a mechanic). Nick was resistant to having someone take a quick look but eventually went back to get whoever worked on my car. When Nick got back to the front desk it seemed like he had heard the funniest joke in the world and didn't really say much to me. I can only imagine the joke was at my expense. Then the mechanic came out, irritated, and wouldn't even look at me or respond when I tried saying "thank you." He just said "gimme your keys," snatched them out of my hand, and walked to my car. Nick continued to laugh as I stood in front of him. Apparently, this was the most annoying thing I could ask. While waiting, I apologized to Nick if I had done something to irritate staff. The mechanic came back, didn't look at me, and just held out his arm for me to grab my keys. I had to guess at Nick, who was still laughing at me, that I had forgotten to click the button. The more I think about it the more I think this is what the mechanic does to mess with customers. This experience was bad starting on Monday with the original service. I didn't get my alignment results with my invoice. I called and asked about it and staff said they had a copy waiting for me when I was able to pick it up. When I went back the next day (Tuesday, 8/12/25), someone had thrown it away, and so I was provided a greasy stained copy from out of the garbage can. Then, I had an oil leak all week due to the oil filter (if we trust what they say), and then I had to stand there and be laughed at and not talked to because I had a silly/simple question. With such an easy fix, I can't understand staff's attitude. It would have been so simple to say "Oh, the oil filter change shouldn't have impacted AC functions. Did you check the button to make sure it was on? It was probably turned off during servicing." Again, if this was unintentional. The report and oil filter stuff happens; it really didn't bother me. Staff's treatment of me, though, is unacceptable. Especially since the only reason I was there today was because something wasn't working from THEIR original service. They never had great service but this was terrible. Do not go or send your family members here. Your money will be wasted. read more

I purchased two tires with Tom English. Tom English took my keys and I went and sat in waiting room. The job was taking an abnormally long amount of time and when i inquired, Tom tells me "oh i made a mistake when i said your tires were in stock, they actually weren't and i sent a guy to Benicia to pick up the tires" (from Fairfield to Benicia then back to Fairfield while im sitting there waiting) He never thought to inform me of that, I feel he was being sneaky, i probably would have left as it was traffic time of day after 3pm. I didnt get out of there til approx 5pm and when i went to counter I asked him can you give me some sort of discount and he actually said "no, I asked and they said no" I spent $640 for two tires and no discount after the sneaky stunt he pulled. I'm disgusted with their customer service, I'll never go back or recommend their business. I'm pretty sure Tom never asked his Mgr. for a well deserved discount, he should have offered. He did not take into account if I had somewhere to be, just assumed I had time to sit and wait for his guy to drive to Benicia to get tires, yeah I guess he didn't want to lose the $640 dollar sale. Can't recommend enough for tire repair. Just got through one of those weeks where many things were going wrong, culminating with a screw in my fairly new tire. Took it to Fairfield Tire Center today (no appointment) and they were able to repair it within an hour for a really reasonable price. Nick was super helpful, friendly and had me laughing, which was something I really needed after the week I just had. I've been going to tire and brake shows for over 40 years. From California to Texas. I have never experienced a more honest team to work on any of my vehicles. They listened, inspected the car, and fixed it. It wasn't just a quick rip and replace the tires. The car had serious issues with the front end. The outside of the tires were wearing off the tread. Blow away. Nic and crew did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend going there for any tire related issues. You won't be disappointed. I called and they mentioned about premium like new used tires so I decided to try premium used tires. one of tires have a slow leak and i had to pump air on it several times. I decided to bring back to the shop and have them check it out. the tires are about 2 weeks and they will charge you for tire repair and upsell you the tpms. *** no hazard warranty on used tires***. next time, buy new tires with road hazard warranty. read more

They will RIP YOU OFF. I took my car in to patch a hole from a screw I picked up. 45 minutes prior, I had removed the tire on my vehicle to locate the slow leak issue. I put the tire/wheel back on the car and drove to FF tire. Somehow, the STRIPPED four out of 6 wheel studs getting the wheel off the vehicle??? How come I can remove the lug nuts off the studs and they can't? I believe that they purposely stretched/ stressed the lug nut in the tighter direction with the air wrench. DONT GO THERE. They obviously have mechanics that don't know what they are doing, and inflict damage on purpose. NEVER EVER AGAIN! i was a good customer, and they screwed me over. read more

This is a poor business. When shopping for tires they will repeatedly misinform that the tires you prefer are no longer manufactured or the manufacturer is out of business. They repeatedly insisted I purchase Sumitomo tires which I did not want. Also they repeatedly over charged for services and also focused on finding new problems with my car besides those I first brought it to them for. A simple balance and alignment of tires and wheels resulted in them finding several expensive brake problems. Every issue I have brought my car to them for they have always returned it to me with more damage than started with huge additional costs. Avoid doing business with this company or its people. I was a regular customer until last week...spending 10's of thousands of dollars a year, until last week. I understand labor issues right now, but if you do not have qualified individuals to perform the job, don't take the work. Excuses are not acceptable when it comes to safety...I had my vehicles work completed elsewhere and not sure I will use them again. It maybe Fairfield, but slob mechanics, with greasy hands....seat covers, wheel covers and floor mats are the order of the day. FTC for the win! On eastbound 80 my 33' travel trailer blew out a tire. After I changed it, I called Fairfield Tire Center to see if they had my size tire to replace the spare. Very helpful guy said yes, gave me directions to get there, and told me to use the second driveway since I was towing a big ass trailer. I was able to be there in 10 minutes and pull right up in front. The mechanics were right on it, and one noticed my other tire was about to blow, and showed me the other ones were in need of replacing too. Sure glad they checked them out, I would have hated to replace just the spare and have the others blow out on our trip to Lake Tahoe. By the time we walked over to a great Mexican deli and had our meal right in front of FTC, they quickly had all four new tires installed. Fair pricing, honest guys, and wonderful quick service made me Yelp this place. Sorry I didn't get names of those who helped me, but the whole experience was top notch. read more

We hit something on 101 and our tire went flat. AAA would charge $500-650 to tow us home. I found this place when I searched on my phone. I called at 4:10 pm on a Saturday. They close at 5. Simon (I think) told me to come on over and they would try to help. He went less expensive to more -- tried to patch it. Wrong kind of tire injury for that. He had a used tire in good shape and I was gone before closing time. He offered me the old tire. I said "Why would I need that?" Turns out I did need that for our tire replacement plan at the dealer. I called first thing Monday morning to see if they still had the tire. They called right back and had it waiting for me when I arrived later in the day. Great experience! read more

Also brought four brand new wheels and tires to be mounted and balanced. I brought my car to Fairfield Tire Center for flat tire patching. Tom English, my service rep said my tire was irreparable. He showed me the tire but I did not see any damage except the nail in the tire. He said the internal side of the tire is worn out and it might explode if I put it back He badgered me into buying a new tire for $515. I said i had to ask my daughter first before he could order a new tire for me. He insisted I call my daughter right away because he said I had up to 10 am to order for the tire to be delivered same day. i told him to put the spare tire and put the flat tire and rim in my trunk. He said he will wait until I talk to my daughter before he install the spare tire. I insisted that he install the spare tire and I will give him a call before 10:00 am. He said he had to charge me $25. Before I left, I checked my trunk and found out that they did not load my flat tire so I had to do it myself. I went to American Tire and Auto Care in North Texas where they look at the tire and did not find any damage that will make irreparable. Their customer service is excellent. They were sincere and honest in helping you unlike at Fairfield Tire Center where they will rip you off and find ways to extract unnecessary expenses. Please beware of FairfieldTire Center. My tire blew out on the highway and my vehicle is unfortunately not equipped with a spare tire (thank you bmw) I had to drive 5 miles to get to this tire shop just to be told they could not install only 1 tire on my vehicle they needed to do all 4.
