4:30PM Covid Test at Walgreens drive-thru pharmacy in Sacramento, CA on Friday 11/5. The only reason I didn't return to the next-day Molecular Matrix Diagnostics in West Sacramento was that I needed a later appointment time than their available hours/slots and the Walgreens was more convenient to home. Provided the requisition number, I logged into the Aegis Labs patient portal on 11/6 and 11/7 and both times it said that my sample # "has not been received at our laboratory" followed by statements: -Samples are typically shipped via overnight delivery to the laboratory. -Shipping delays and weekend shipping schedules may delay receipt in the laboratory. -Sat/Sun collections are most likely to be delayed beyond next-day delivery. -Please allow for transit time and check back later or verify the requisition number. -Samples received greater than 30 days ago are no longer available on this portal. Finally around 4:00AM on Monday 11/8 I receive the email from Walgreens/PWNHealth with the results attached (negative). Funny, even on the final report there is no date entered for when the sample was received, only the collection date and results reported date. Oh well. I understand transit time doesn't count for turnaround, but it would've been nice if at least I could see that it was received, tracking and being processed, test status updates. According to their website their target turnaround is 24 hours or less from the time sample is received. read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! They never billed my insurance company, I paid the bill in full requested a copy of the bill they refuse to give me a copy stated they sent claim to insurance company, I gave the insurance information 7/16 they assured me it was being processed the last 4 times I called in with Al different dates, today JEFFREY advised me it was filed today but they charge the insurance company more and customer less so they can't provide a bill -need to see if insurance is going to pay for it and I told him I already paid for the bill and would like reimbursement, he refused to provide corporate number to file a complaint. Back on 7/16 they told me they would email or mail me a copy of the letter and 6 wks later I'm still waiting. If you are going to use this lab for your flight clearance and want to make your flight, DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT! and WALGREENS! Booked a Flight clearance re: COVID negative test for my kids. Website states a 24-72 hr turnaround ( In reality 72 hr is really pushing it since flights, especially HI wants a Covid test be done 72 hrs prior to boarding. We received our test past the 72 Hr. window so we have to move our flights and go to a different Lab to get clearance. This experience is so stressful, Walgreens have no clue on what is going on, they said people reporting 24 hrs turnaround, there is no customer support, there is no tracking info, it is a mess. For 2 days, the status of our test on the Aegis website: "samples have not been received by the lab." I do not even think they work during weekends so if you are booked for a Monday flight and did your test on Thursday or Friday, You will not make it. SEARCH: CARBON HEALTH if there is one close to you, they will get the job done with a 24 hr turnaround. I'm writing this review to give people hope in case they have to use Walgreens/Aegis or who didn't see the reviews before paying (like me). My test results came in fewer than 48 hours. I took the test at 9:45 on Wednesday, the lab received my test at around 11am that next day (Thursday), and then I got my results at around 8pm on that same Thursday. So the whole process took around 34 hours. That being said, looking at the rest of the comments, I wouldn't risk it if you're on a time constraint. read more

Worst ever! I live in a small town and Walgreens is the only authorized testing facility for Hawaii. Hawaii requires a test no longer than 72 hours prior to your last leg of departure. Walgreens doesn't test that late on Sunday, and even if they do, fedex doesn't run on Sunday. We did the test Monday morning and it went to Aegis that day. Set up for testing that night. I've called the call center and sent emails regarding his pending test. Well...my 11 year old son is still sitting in California, couldn't board because his test isn't back! read more

Aegis Covid RT-PCR testing is utterly unreliable -- 121 HOURS TURNAROUND. My test sample was collected on Thu 5:30 PM and results came on Tue 7:15 PM. God forbid I had tested positive, I would have spread Covid to sooo many people in this looong period of time. Walgreens, you deserve the blame too for partnering with a lab run by sloths. DO NOT USE WALGREENS FOR LAB WORK!!!! 4 DAYS AGO, I took a PCR Covid test in at Walgreens in Sedona, AZ. Although my test was administered on a Weekday, my Aegis Lab Link says that "Sample has NOT YET BEEN RECEIVED." (Snow is NOT a factor here!) Meanwhile, my husband took a test 2 days prior at a C.V.S. Pharmacy. His results were processed and submitted within 19 HOURS. Also, my sister-in-law had a test taken at a Walgreens in Phoenix (Same Aegis Lab is used). HER TEST WAS LOST and had to be repeated. Meanwhile, her insurance was charged ANOTHER $120. When I told Walgreens Pharmacy about my experience, a technician said results take "AT LEAST 72 HOURS". Why was this not disclosed before I took my test? I would have gone to CVS had I known! P.S. This still does not explain why my sample was still not received! :( The lab is only 2 hours away! So far this the worse lab. Not reliable for traveling or exposure to people contaminated. I had been tested several time at 4 different locations and this the first and last time that I used this lab. This is the only lab that make me miss a driving trip. I got tested on 8/26 and didn't receive my test yet (8/29/2021 10:15]. As I have a 6 hour drive to the border, I needed my test result before 10AM today. Really disappointed. I got covid test for myself and daughter through walgreens which uses AEGIS. Customer service was rude and unhelpful. They took around 72 hours to process my covid tests, 86 hours from the time of testing. I would never recommend this lab for any testing. They are unprofessional and falsely report their turn around times. They tried to blame shipping for the delay, but Im sure overnight shipping didnt take 3 days. I had to rebook a flight, lost a day of vacation, lost a night of rental fee, paid $120 per person to get rapid testing at a reputable lab. Over all using this lab cost me approximately $700 in lost fees and charges. I was also told a supervisor would call me back, its been two weeks and no call. I tested TWICE with Aegis Labs through Walgreens for HawaII travel and both times it came back INCONCLUSIVE. I knew I didn't have Covid so I went to another testing place and it came back correctly, NEGATIVE. A friend of mine had the same problem with AEGIS so I strongly suggest not using them. I wish I had read other online reviews before getting a Covid test through Walgreens, which uses Aegis. The turnaround time for their Covid tests is advertised as 24-48 hours. However, they do not tell you up front that this does not include the day of the test and it also does not include weekends, which makes the test totally useless if you need it for international travel, within a 72-hour window. When calling their customer service to find out why there was such a delay in getting my results, I was on hold for nearly an hour, before speaking with a representative who - not her fault - was not able to do anything. This is day 5 for me, and still no test results. I've called their support line which disconnects me after 5 mins of waiting. If you press 0 to be called back, you also get disconnected. No response to my email either. I called Walgreens, where I took the test, and they verified that the AEGIS lab received the test kit, however even Walgreens cannot get a status of the test results for me. They did however verifiy that the lab is "still providing test results within 24 hours". So I must assume my test is lost and I have to retake the test. SO Disappointing. We had a covid test at 5pm on a Wednesday at a Walgreens in Kalispell, MT. Our tests were received and logged into the system Friday night with Aegis. We received our results at 7am Saturday morning (about 12 hours later). Our test expired Saturday at 5pm and we were traveling across the US/Canada border that day. Honestly I don't this is a fault on Aegis. Walgreens should have more then 1 over night pick time. We did called Walgreens and aegis customer service in our waiting time and were just told the wait time was 24-72 hours. read more
