Groups are informative, employees (including licensed psychiatric technicians, licensed psychotherapists, licensed drug and alcohol counselors) are genuinely caring and supportive. You also get private therapy (and if interested) drug and alcohol counseling sessions, upon request, by licensed clinicians. Groups are informative and interesting: no oversimplification, here: they manage to make their content interesting and appealing to all clients - many places "dumb down" their content. Not here. Personal electronics are permitted in the facility and you're allowed to Instacart your own snacks. The food served is catered and pretty palatable. I have been here more than once, and was delighted to find many of the same people still working here - staff retention, to me, says a lot about a facility as mental health is generally notorious for churn and burnout. You are in extremely competent hands at National - they really know what they are doing and seem to only hire the best candidates.

They can see from my records is that I have been on the same dose this whole time. I haven't been fishing for more. All of my UIs have come back clean. Honestly I am a model patient. Then, they never sent the referral to the pain doctor she personally recommended me to!!! Maybe she is OK if you sprain your ankle but if you have serious health issues and chronic pain like me find someone else. She Will trivialize your pain while patronizing you the whole time. What the hell does the front desk staff do, are they Just sitting there staring into space, Maybe they are on their own personal phones, too busy to do their job, I don't get It this makes absolutely no sense at all. I need to find another Doctor, I can't deal with this unacceptable way they handle the front desk. No other Doctor office has ever put me through this nightmare of trying to get through, I am so done being ignored & having my stress levels go up. No one should go through this, we are all dealing with pain, I don't need my anxiety levels to go up too.

He was one of my all time favorite physicians. I was offered to see Dr. Chowdhury in Manteca. I was hesitant at first because I had to make a drive a few cities over and I am a seizure patient. So on a bad day I would have to cancel appointments (so I thought). I was reminded she does video appointments. I am absolutely glad I accepted her as my new physician. Dr. Chowdhury is very compassionate, understanding and gets you the referrals you need for the medical care you need. Her demeanor makes you comfortable and at ease in her presence.
