These people are the WORST! I visited their website, called the number listed and asked about my drone that needed repairs. They said fill out the online form and mail it in. I did both. Turns out they moved a YEAR ago even though website and phone number still reflect the old business. The post office forwarded my drone to their new place, guaranteed that it was delivered to them with a photo of my package. Aerial media pros looked all over for it, couldn't find it then claimed that they never got it even though there is a photo of it in their P.O. Box ( which they denied having but is registered to them). They were rude and gave me the run around. They refused to help at all or take responsibility for my loss Now I am out a drone!! Went down to the office in Costa Mesa twice. The first time I stood around in the lobby by myself calling out for help. No one came so I left. I could have walked out with an Inspire under my arm but I'm not like that. Went down today to see if they could do some cosmetic repairs on my P3P and was basically talked to like I'm an idiot. Which I might be, but that guy doesn't know me. Then he rattles off a price that was just below buying a new UAV. Very disappointed. I walked out. I've got 4 UAV'S that need maintenance in my car and the way he talked to me assured me he didn't want my business. read more

The age of UAV's (or drones as people are apt to call them) are upon us, and hopefully there will be more dealers to pop up to service this emerging niche. However, these guys are not the ones you want to deal with. Upon my experience in walking in and talking with these folks, they do not know nearly as much as they claim. I asked them if they will eventually start carrying the Walkera Tali H500. The guy never even heard of Walkera. Really? Your in the RC business and never heard of them? And you are so on top of your field as a DJI seller that you do not know anything about their biggest emerging competitor in the multicopter arena? Horrible Company! Avoid at all costs. Please don't fall for their marketing crap. I'll start off with the prices. Literally everything they sell is massively overpriced. You can literally buy the same accessories they sell elsewhere for half the price. Something like a multicharge cable they sell for $27?! You can buy that for $12 elsewhere. $17 for TWO Velcro straps?! They are out of their minds. Not to mention their absurd charges for labor etc. I took my drone here with an agreed upon price for labor then when I met the owner Patrick he immediately jacked up the price even though I had an already agreed upon price. He doesn't give a crap and is extremely arrogant. Their customer service is horrible, they barely respond to e-mails and never pick up their phones. On top of all of this they don't know their right hand from their left. These people are extremely inexperienced in the field. Learn how to work on it your self or find another company. I purchased a gimble from AMP. Their website clearly stated the order would be shipped on a certain date, but after placing the order was told it was backordered another 2-4 weeks. I asked about purchasing extra batteries for the setup, but nobody responded. It was scheduled to ship ground, so I called to change it to overnight so I could have it in time for a shoot - I was told I would have to change my order and lose my place in line, even though it was still in the warehouse. When I spoke to them about it on the phone they were unconcerned. Not the type of company to build a relationship with, or the type who seems interested in building one with its customers. read more

These guys may be aerial media "pros," but they are customer service amateurs at best. In fact, amateurs would probably provide better service and communication. This is a business that couldn't care less about providing you with either. Their communication about web orders or eBay order is non-existent. I recently bought and paid for a fairly expensive item on their eBay store. The item had a posted "no later than" delivery date. The item did not arrive, but I wasn't in a desperate rush to get the item, so I waited a full three weeks after this date to inquire about the order via email. There was no answer, so I had eBay make an official inquiry about the shipment. They ignored eBay. So I opened a dispute with eBay, which AMP also ignored. eBay then refunded my payment in full. I guess AMP is doing so well that they can afford to just completely ignore customers. Must be nice. I won't spend another dime there. There are dozens of other places who actually care about the people who pay them for products and services. [UPDATED 2/5/15]: After I posted this review, the owner contacted me to apologize and offer to make things right. It seems he simply had no employees assigned or trained to check for eBay sales or messages. (As a business owner myself, my friendly advice to them is to either have an eBay store, or don't. You can't have an online store, and never check for orders. Operate every facet of your business to the hilt, or drop that part of it. Otherwise, unpleasant situations like this are bound to happen.) These guys saved me! I'm leaving for a hike next week, and my DJI Spark stopped working after the mandatory firmware update. With no time to send it out, a local repair shop was my only chance. I've been purchasing DJI quad copters from Aerial Media Pros for well over a year now. In fact I bought four separate ones (3 Phantom 2's and now my latest, the Inspire 1). I've always had good, expert customer service advice as well as prompt, on time shipping. I travel the world, filming in many different places and now and then need some advice on a specific question. Winston is always there to promptly answer my email questions as I can't always call from my international locations. Others there in the past two year have also been helpful with either answering my questions or getting the answers such as Mitchell, Brent, Brandon, Emilee, Wendy, Kyle and Bryan. And one time I was really saved by Patrick (the owner). I was outside London, filming some estates, and my controller went out do to a fault of mine. I had to re program it but it was customized by Aerial Media Pros. Patrick kindly and patiently talked me thru all of the programming modes and sure enough, it worked when I went back out into the field. That REALLY saved me. I now have my DJI Inspire 1 (by the way don't fly a friend's Inspire 1 or you will have to purchase one immediately!) and I love this machine! Since I'm on the airlines all over the world and currently in India traveling as the official photographer of the Royal Challengers Bangalore Cricket team, we are "on the road" constantly flying on packed airlines to matches all over the country. So I met these guys at IDE. I wanted a company near by that I could actually talk to. I purchased an Inspire 1 Pro, top of the line. Out of the box the case as defective. I contacted Aerial Pros and was told to contact DJI. I have not had a good experience with DJI customer service ever and was not disappointed. DJI said the case was "complementary"!!! Back to Aerial Pros and spoke to Winston. Told me to send him the case and they would replace. A few days later the case arrived. It was obvious with the new case DJI's Quality Control (sic) miss the defective case. I called and talked to Wesley about some upgrades for my Inspire. Wesley was helpful and informative. I located Aerial Media Pro with a Google search and I stepped out faith and took a drive to their office in Costa Mesa California. They were very friendly after buying 5 quads from the past until I bought a defective inspire 1 that's when everything changed right out of the box had problems I called dji after doing some test they said it's was defective and was told I can take its back to the dealer I bought it from to exchange and they refused to after spending lots of $ they just give you the finger insisting it's was the battery so they swapped it out turns out they were wrong again they also lost my case logo and said it's because dji has them cheaply made but they lost it and didn't replace it went back like 4 times and and was given dirty looks I had spoke to Winston told him how can they just not give a crap after an out of the box defective item he just said I'm sorry talk to dji I told him I'd make a bad review he said ok like I don't give a crap type of way............never going back not to mention they are overpriced BEWARE read more

I have had my drone for almost two years. From day 1 of receiving it from AMP I have had nothing but issues. After sending it to DJI for repairs, they informed me that the drone was put together improperly. I purchased a $500.00 battery from AMP that from day 1 wouldn't charge. They wouldn't replace it. I spent $15,000.00 on my drone from them and it still has issues. It has been in the shop more than I have been able to use it. I met in person one of the lead west coast technicians from DJI and after he looked at my S1000, he laughed! DON"T waste your time, frustration and money here. Go somewhere else! read more

No issues just some firmware updates needed once again but they where very helpful and polite and I even picked up one of there t-shirts while I was there ! Ordered the inspire 1 Pro from amazon. As you can imagine i Was very excited to set this bad boy up when i received it yesterday. Got to the part where i insert battery and as soon as i clicked battery ... Yeah thats when buzzkill came knocking on my door.. The battery was dead. First i thought, hmm maybe they shipped the battery discharged since it a pretty beefy battery. Plugged it to the charger no light or nothing completely dead! Talk about disappointment. Being who i am i couldn't wait to ship this out and wait for a new one.. Started searching online for DJI dealers.. Since i live in south irvine this place off technology popped up.. Looked on their site and they seemed to have the battery.. My excitement start coming back.. So i got up this morning, called the place at 9am as was the time they posted on yelp they would open.. No answer, i noticed it was a cell so i texted who over it was .. Still no answer.. I gave up and started searching again.. Then i came across AMP.. Right from the website i knew they were legit. Called them up told them what i was looking for and they said they have it in stock! Boom! Back in business. When i went to pick up the guy behind the window was very friendly, opened the battery to make sure it worked, gave me a few pointers on flying and even hooked it up with a key chain..
